Beautiful. Loud. Boils water.
The design makes a statement and the titanium and 'wood' looks fantastic!
It is kind of loud though. If you're looking for a kettle to make a quiet cuppa while the family sleeps then this probably isn't the one for you.
The base has a large surface area so it boils reasonably quickly.
The lid has a silicon seal and (while brand new at least) removing the lid is a two-handed affair. Replacing it is easy enough but does require a tiny bit of guess work to align it properly. The ring on top of the lid has plastic insulation so you can remove th...Read more
e lid straight after boiling. I find the absence of a hinge a bonus. I can rest easy knowing there's no complex plastic moving parts that will break 12 months after purchase. The unit fits on to the base smoothly and securely and feels more sturdy than our previous kettle. The water level window is behind the handle but can be viewed easily enough. Some improvements I would like to see are: 1. An arrow or marker on the kettle itself to help align the lid when putting it back on (or a lid that doesn't have to face a certain direction). 2. Some how make it less noisy when in use. 3. I think a nice addition would be a little bell when it's done boiling and switches off but that's just my opinion :) Overall I'm happy with it. Its our first kettle that costs more than $40 and we really only bought it for looks to go with our kitchen reno. It does its job (boils water) and although it was on sale, for this price it better last the distance!

Good looking kettle
I bought this after reading the reviews. Works perfectly fine. Totally love the classy look. It makes my kitchen look nice :)
The only problem i fee is the lid, which needs a bit of struggling to close. (My previous kettle had a button to open and close the lid which was totally convenient)

Sleek Caffeine Machine
I love the Morphy Richards Aspect Kettle because it has a very modern sleek design and is such great quality. It may cost a little more but was definitely worth it. It has good volume capacity, heats up relatively quick and is quite quiet. It pours smoothly and makes a great cup of coffee. It is definitely a kettle I would recommend to others.

Stylish Kettle
Love my new grey kettle with timber look trim. Looks fabulous on the bench, too nice to hide in a cupboard. Its easy to clean and boils super quick. Have had lots of comments on how stylish it looks. My children have bought the matching toaster for me - looking forward to using it. Would definitely recommend Morphy Richards products.

Love it
It looks fabulous, has great capacity and is very easy to use. My partner wasn't sure about the lid as he thought it might be a fiddle but no problems at all. It looks so unique we've even had compliments on it. Very happy with it and can definitely recommend it.

Love it
This kettle and toaster get a work out with us. With a major coffee and tea drinker and kids that love toast for breakfast these can handle a family and more if needed to. Was sergested by sales reps to try other brands but we went from feedback from family and a few friends. The colours are great also

Morphy Richards - This Kettle ticks all the boxes!
This one ticks all the boxes!
It's very modern looking and the colour (grey) matches my kitchen beautifully, it's too good to put away in the cupboard.
Not only does it look amazing it's extremely functional, having a 1.5L capacity, cordless, fast to boil and very quiet.
My last kettle lasted many years and I'm sure this one will too.

Morphy Richards sleek design
Morphy Richards Aspect kettle is a functional yet attractive kettle. A black and silver Morphy Richards Aspect kettle was gifted to us when we renovated our kitchen and it fits into our modern kitchen as almost a decorative piece when not in use. The kettle itself is great as it has a large water capacity and therefore when people over don't need to boil several times to make multiple hot drinks.

very attractive modern looking kettle
Large capacity and very nice to look at. Not keen on the spout as pours out to much water at once and the lid is not easy to secure. Would not advise if children tend to use it. Obviously not young ones but 11 upwards who may make a cut of tea for themselves.

Great kettle!
I spend weeks researching kettles after our 25 year old kettle started to leak. I wanted a cordless, fast boil, quiet and nice looking kettle and this one ticks all the boxes. At full capacity (1.5L) it takes only a minute or two (I have not timed it but it is faster than our old kettle) and there is a little noise as per all rapid boil kettles but it is not at all bothersome and certainly not as loud as other kettles I've used. I would not hesitate to recommend it. The matching toaster is also great.

Questions & Answers
Hanlieasked
I bought this kettle 4 days ago. We really like the overall look of this kettle but noticed a small problem. The part where the handle and the kettle is attached is lifting up down the side. The other side is flash and still attached to the kettle. Is this a common problem or did I buy another faulty product.

Hello Hanlie
Thank you for contacting us. What you are describing is not a common problem but should not be like this. Please return your product to the place of purchase with your receipt and have the unit replaced.

We purchased this kettle as I loved the feel of the handle and the sleek modern look and on all accounts (except my issue below) we are very happy with it........
I have read all of these reviews and can't seem to find anyone with the same problem we are experiencing......we purchased this jug two weeks ago and the water has a very distinct "plastic" taste to it when boiled in this jug. Even our guests are noticing it.
Is this just a one off with my jug - unfortunately we have had to resort to boiling our water in the pot as the taste is so strong and off putting
Any advice?
Thanks

Hi Shelly R - Whilst this is not a common concern reported with the range distributed in Australia, it is something that we hear about from time to time. There are a few fixes involving bi-carb, lemon and vinegar to be found on Google however we find have found that running a standard de-scaler product through the unit makes a huge difference.
I am happy to send you a sample to get you sorted should you be happy to receive same – please PM your postal address (or call our Customer Care team and advise by phone: 1300 566 816) and we will send out asap.
