I purchased the Aspect kettle today but the arrow on the lid is not central, not pointing to the spout ? Is a fault or are all like this ?

However should the noise increase, please note that as part of the Glen Dimplex Australia group, the Morphy Richards range of electric product are sold with a 24 month ‘replacement only’ warranty in Australia. If your product is currently within this manufacturer’s warranty, please simply arrange return of your unit to your place of purchase along with your invoice/ proof of purchase to receive a replacement/refund. You may also wish to print this email advice and take with you in order to confirm the authorisation. If you cannot locate your original receipt please contact your place of purchase, they may be able to issue you a duplicate receipt.
I am enquiring as to how I can register my new "Aspect" Kettle (Morphy Richards), purchased from Harris Scarfe, Ringwood, Victoria. I was told to contact H.SCARFE, then told to contact M/Richards!! Could you please help me?

I bought this kettle 4 days ago. We really like the overall look of this kettle but noticed a small problem. The part where the handle and the kettle is attached is lifting up down the side. The other side is flash and still attached to the kettle. Is this a common problem or did I buy another faulty product.

Thank you for contacting us. What you are describing is not a common problem but should not be like this. Please return your product to the place of purchase with your receipt and have the unit replaced.

The aspect products that are not scandi have a metallic looking finish on the base and handle instead of the wooden effect. Due to this difference in finish there are some differences in price. I received this kettle as a gift for Christmas and have just moved into my place and have started using the kettle. The water that comes out of it is in drinkable. It actually tastes poisoness. I’ve tried boiling vinegar in it. Any other suggestions as nothing is working.

How did you go second time around with the new kettle?
Thankfully the new Morphy Richards Kettle has performed as I expected and works well. Now happy with my purchase.
We purchased this kettle as I loved the feel of the handle and the sleek modern look and on all accounts (except my issue below) we are very happy with it........
I have read all of these reviews and can't seem to find anyone with the same problem we are experiencing......we purchased this jug two weeks ago and the water has a very distinct "plastic" taste to it when boiled in this jug. Even our guests are noticing it.
Is this just a one off with my jug - unfortunately we have had to resort to boiling our water in the pot as the taste is so strong and off putting
Any advice?
