Good
I have had a positive experience with myerone. It is free to join, and it is quite easy to accumulate enough points for several $20 myer giftcards with your regular myer purchases.
Free to join. Easy to accumulate points with your usual purchases from Myer.
None that I have come accross so far.

It can take a while to earn enough points to actually get a $20 Myer one gift card. I don't go out of my way to build up my points but rather let them build slowly.
The Myer one card is a good idea. Everytime you shop, you earn points and if you shop at Myer a lot than the points will add up. The store often has bonus points available and staff always remind you to pull out your card.
This loyalty card is only really good if you do a lot of shopping at Myer. These cards can prompt people to spend more but in theory they are only good if you are actually shopping alot.

To be honest my Myer one card hasnt too benifical to me as i dont spend much money there. But if you are a regular Myer customer this card would be great for you. If you pair it with a Myer credit card you get points when you shop anywhere and points are tripled when you shop at Myer. Its free to use so if you are going to shop there why not benefit.
free to use, gain points for things you are going to buy anyway, great if you spend lots of money at Myer. Great if you pair with myer credit card
Have to spent over $1000 to get a $20 gift card.

Just another ploy to get people to shop at certain place over and over. Been using it every time I buy something since membership around 2 years ago but apart from a silver status sticker that was mailed, can't remember much else benefit that has fallen my way. Perhaps I don't spend that much money.
Simple to join. Just flash whenever you shop at Myer and points are added on without much fuss. Was awarded Silver status. Offered share offers before public release of IPO etc.
No account info is mailed. Hard to keep track of what's happening. Was ...Read more
awarded Silver status but still not sure what the benefits are. Invitation to things you'd never consider shopping for etc. Because it's so easy to join, most people have it anyway. Not a card that you can flash in front of people to expect special treatment or recognition...

More achievable rewards than most
I like Myer one as I do quite a bit of shopping at Myer anyway, so it works well for me. The rewards are fairly reasonable, so you can get them if you spend a bit of money.
They send you a birthday voucher too! So even if you dont spend much there, to join is free and they will send you a $10 on your birthday.
If you are in store and have your card you can also get their emporium magazine free.
Birthday voucher and free magazine
Still need to buy quite a bit to get good rewards

Myer One is the loyalty program of the Myer chain of stores and is one of the more generous loyalty programs out there. You don't need to spend that much before you can redeem a gift voucher and it is free to join up. With a broad range of products available at Myer, it won't take long to accumulate enough points to gain a reward. If you are going to be shopping at Myer anyway, there's no reason not to join up and gain some additional benefits from your shopping. Overall, it is one of the better rewards programs out there and worth getting.
Free to join, easy to use, can be used to redeem Myer gift cards
Nothing of note really

Free to join and easy to use. Without trying to necessarily accumulate points, we get $20 to $50 gift cards once or twice a year. Myer one offers are sent via email and/or post regularly throughout the year, for discounts as well as additional points. They also sent a $10 voucher every year for your birthday month. Free copy of their (?quarterly) magazine with any purchase.
Can accumulate points at other stores and online shops as well as Myer.

Very happy with the myerone loyalty program as i shop alot at myer so i make really good use out of it. It's so easy to earn and accumulate points and before you know you have a gift card waiting for you! I have a myer visa credit card as well so when used together i get extra points, which helps to get that next gift card even quicker. Being a myerone member also allows you access to exclusive sales and offers.
Free to join up. Extra points when used with the Myer Visa card.
Gift cards that are issued can only be used at Myer.

A must to have like flybuys this is a very important card for me, I am a Myre frequent shopper currently on a Silver membership, might go up to gold this year with a whole lot of home entertainment purchases recently. Think about it if you purchase stuff and get rewarded with a bonus gift card to spend instore no harm in that. Recomend this card if you are a Myer shopper they also have bonuses and special event invites where they have superb deals for 1 night only before the regular sale.
Another free to join card Myerone is fantastic card if y...Read more

This is a great loyalty program if you are shop often at Myer. You can even use it at the Beauty Salon inside Myer (if there is one) and get points. They send out special invites and offers to members. The staff are pretty good and ask if you have a card, so that you don't miss out. Unfortunately, I know there are a lot of Myer One affiliates, but they don't ask me when I shop there, and there are too many places for me to remember. And I can't just go and ask each store I shop in. Overall, its a great card for regular Myer customers.

The Myer One is the best loyalty program. As a member you have access to special discounts and special events which makes it even better as you are a valued member.
The best loyalty program around. We would receive a gift card with every statement as the Myer one card is also linked to the Myer Visa Card. If you have both then you earn extra rewards. We have been a member for many years now and this program is the one for which we receive the most rewards that have a reasonable expiry date as well. Not like some where sometimes you have a month.
Nothing really.

Most special offers I don't want or need, but some I take up. I plan my intended purchases at Myers to line up with their "bonus points" time and special offers. Eg make-up, underwear and perfume. If used sensibly this system can save you money.
A really good loyalty program. They email members heaps of special offers. The rate of conversion is much better than "fly buys" and your rewards are sent out automatically (gift card with a two year expiry).
Many of the special offers are designed to get you to buy items you may not have bought otherwise. So, for some people it could be a spending trap if they can't resist a "bargain".

Myer One card is useful if you shop at Myer regularly. The more points you have, the better the benefits available to you. One year I received some cosmetic sample coupons (redeemable in store) after achieving higher level membership tier. Not much reward if you don't shop there often enough. The best way to acrue more points is if you buy big tickets items during "double points" time.
Easy to use, free loyalty card, sometimes you can get bonus or extra points by flashing the card in store upon payments of goods.
Not the most generous loycalty scheme. Takes a long time to build up points.

I think this is a great reward card, given it doesn't cost a thing and you get gift cards in the mail to spend at Myer next time you shop. I don't let it dictate where I buy things from but generally Myer is a good source to shop for homewares and clothing so why wouldn't you do it? It doesn't get better than getting something for nothing!
You get gift cards in the mail as a bonus for shopping, who doesn't love that!! Doesn't cost a thing to have.
Must present the card at purchase.

This is not a credit card, it is a rewards card for shopping at Myer. For each dollar you spend you get a point, and sometimes some items or lines have bonuses like triple points. I receive emails about special sales for members and advance notice about sales, which may be annoying to some but is useful if you are looking to buy a particular item.
Good if you are a frequent Myer shopper, get gift cards if you get enough points, often have point specials on certain products or lines, get emails about special shopping days, can get an additional card for someone else to use.
Not much benefit for people who only occasionally shop in Myer.

you also get invited to special promotions and discount nights. they have these a few times a year. now days there is also a lot more 'reward' days where the points are doubled. also great if your doing big purchace items, ie fridge, tv. myer tends to be reasonable too now days with barganing for a good price. its free so even if it takes you a while to get points, why not?
free to use. great if shop alot in the store. can get an additional card for a family member so earn points on one account.
need to spend over $1000 to get $20 gift card.

The Myer One program is excellent if you are a regular Myer customer. When I signed up, I signed up for additional cards for other household members so that earning points is quicker. The only thing then is deciding who gets to keep the Gift Card! But in addition to earning points, you also get sent special member only offers, get notified of special shopping events and get access to upcoming catalogues before the public. I believe that you can earn points faster if you have a Myer One Visa card, but this is something that I have not pursued. O...Read more
verall the rewards program is straight-forward, and I don't believe points expire so you don't have to worry about spending money within a certain time period to obtain enough points for your reward.
