dreadful

recurrent issues on the site mean i can't access my statements, can't view all transactions or arrange payment. current balance has not been updated to reflect a payment made a month ago impacting my spending limit. truly dreadful.

Website down again

This is the WORST service provider I have the misfortune of dealing with. The website is always down. I just went to log in to check some details and as per usual the website page will not even load. (all other internet pages are working fine btw). Contact page provides no email address. No after hours contact options. What year are we in?



Frustrating

So dissatisfied with phone help, couldn't access my statement as either username or password was incorrect so tried getting help on phone Temp password sent was only of use if doing online banking and as we had no access to wifi as we are traveling, our phone was unable to accept the Password sent to us. This was not explained until after 3rd attempt told it could not be used on phone only computer Going to pay at Myer counter Unbelievably BAD

So to start, unlike 80% of others who comment I am not computer illiterate. I found the registration was super easy and fast, I had a man from GE give me my options, my application asked me whether or not I wanted a second card (applied on MyerOne website)

I have linked my Myer Visa to my MyerOne & Flybuys! And only shop at 'Coles-Myer Group' stores so I'm always earning points.. Pay my balance fortnightly, no fuss no muss! <3 my Myer Visa!!

Went for the buyers protection too which offers great security, and as a bonus if my card is lost or stolen all I need to do is report it to my local police station and Myer will PAY ME for any inconvenience.. Wow!

Bad cstomer service

I been a member for long time & most of the time when I contacted I get ok Customer service but when you talk to any of the supervisors all of them have attitude proplem never helpful. I will never recommend Myer Visa due to it's provided by GE money, worst supervisors. I wish MYER switch their credit card provider. I love MYER.

Accessing transactions information

For goodness sake don't follow the link you are sent to remind you your account is due. You are sent to the MyerOne site. Whenever I tried to access the transaction history for the previous month after spending forever trying to even login, the site would log me out. When I clicked on Contact us for a phone number the screen went blank.

When you do get to see .some of your transaction history it is very clear and well set-out.Pity you can't access your transactions which are relevant to the billy you are about to pay!!!!!

This site unfortunately would have to be the most annoying and frustrating I have to use. Sure makes you wonder about the safety of the site.

Trying to close a Meyer card... Apparently so difficult!! Delay because of Bpay the more money wanted by them. soooo greedy!! 3 different people on the phone wanting different things such as and more money because they have a 'cut off' for their payment at 4.30pm... Onto the next version of their 'final payment'!! wait till 2 more days then see... What a joke. Billon dollar company, American, over $50 billion dollars yearly [Name removed]. Huge company.

Why is website access so difficult?

My new myercard arrived in the mail with instructions to activate it on line. I left it for a few days because previous experience with GE money told me it would be convoluted. The website address given does not appear to exist. So I access another website and wandered into the page that looks right. I'm told I can't proceed until I provide my mobile number (I don't use a mobile). On the same page I am told can't activate my card until primary card updated?. I only have one card. I'll do what I always do with GE, phone their help desk who will acknowledge that the information is misleading and they will update over the phone. Or maybe this time I'll let the card slide. An occasional gift card is not worth the aggro.

Online account management lets it down

I would have given the card a higher rating but for the fact that since they changed the perfectly efficient and user friendly website to a new version, I can no longer access it on an older browser. I was advised I needed to have an up-to-date browser or use a different computer. I think there would be many many Myer Visa clients who may not necessarily have access to the latest browser - being restricted by work systems for instance.

I manage my finances closely so this is a massive negative for me. As I asked GEMoney - who matters more - the clients or the web-managers???

BPAY Payments take forever to reach your account

I pay by BPAY. The payment goes in same time every Thursday yet can take up to 5 days to reach my account. What a crock. What are they doing with my money??? Don't have BPAY problems with anyone else only myer visa.

Frustrating waste of time.

I agree with all the above points regarding poor customer service from GE Money. Don't go near them as you always come of second best. After multiple attempts to register for online statements to avoid the ridiculous paper statement fee I've given up and asked for my card to be cancelled. NO CAN DO as it has a slight positive balance! Lousy with honouring promises of rewards as others have experienced. It took me hours to try and get a second card on the account for my wife but had to give up in the end as it was just too difficult. Had to write them a snail mail letter as no workable solution otherwise. I can live without MYER Visa Card so it's bye, bye Myer and hello DJ's. Life's too short to put up with this bad service.

finding it hard to understand the points

Long time shopper of Myer, finding it real hard to use the points system and understand what gets what. Also the coupons are hidden in the envelopes we received, so I am not sure when I receive them and can mistake for junk mail. I would love to see the old Myer
having points is great

i love some of the special offers I receive. interest rate is quite high, but ok. These reward points will be automatically converted to a $20 Myer gift card when they reach 2,000. Their service makes me feel that I don't want to make a big purchase with this card - they are not reliable and hopeless to solve problems.
I definitely recommend the product altogether.This credit card is worth my while because I shop at Myer at least once a month, and the Myer visa card + MyerOne membership works out to a 3% return on money spent at Myer.

Love the gift cards and Low Fees

What I like about my Myer visa is that my Myer gift cards add up to more than my annual fees so I feel as if I am charged no fees at all. Have been using this card for several years now & have never had a problem. It's easy to plan budget knowing that purchases made one month do not need to be paid for until the end of the following month & as I pay the card off in full each month I am not bothered about interest rate.

I am being charged for membership after I cancelled the card, and interest on that membership. I had cencelled over the phone but they could not give me a reference number and continued to charge me for my cancelled membership. could not reach them by phone, does not support safari browsers and dishonest. Stay away from these people.

I keep earning gift cards

I pay my credit cards off in full every month so the interest rate doesnt bother me. The online service centre is often offline but its easy to use, sometimes theres a delay with the updating of items. The annual fee is reasonable and I seem to be earning enough on the cards so that i get at least a $20 myer gift card every quarter. I haven't had any major problems with the card at all.

MY best card by far

I love my Myer Visa out of the 4 credit cards I have it is by far the best. I get heaps of gift cards and there are often special offers that are also great. While the interest rate is higher than some alternatives (although it is pretty well industry standard) the card has a 62 day interest free period, so if you pay it off regularly its really great. The 3 points for every dollar spent within Myer and affiliates such as IGA is also another positive feature, I often purchase on my Myer Visa to get the 3 points per dollar and pay it back straight away using another card. Overall its a great card if used to its full potential, glad I converted from DJ's amex

Myer cancelled paper statements and required Customer create an online account. Informed Myer could not get statements so never knew how much and when to pay. This is totally unacceptable closed account and now would never shop there. Worst customer service I have come across in 40 years and something should be done by Ombudsman to prevent this bad practice by Myer

After much stress due to.ignorance over switch to Latitude Affinity, I rang up Myer Customer service, and got them to cancel my card. They had sent me a LA Visa card, which I didn't even use or activate, and because I hadn't closed my Myer Visa account after paying my outstanding payments, they tried to get $89 out of me for having the bloody Latitude card. So do yourself a BIG favor, get rid of Myer.

My travels have not taken me to US since I changed to Myer Credit card but I have used it in Europe, New Caledonia & New Zealand without any problems and from memory I have received points for my transactions. There are charges as with all cards, for overseas use, but not unreasonable. The customer service centre has always been very helpful whenever I have needed to speak to them so give then a call & they will be able to give you an accurate answer. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Enjoy your holiday!
