If it ain’t broke don’t fix it

published

This product used to be my holy grail for years, until they changed the formula. Wax doesn’t harden. It breaks and half rips out your hair, which is a painful experience. Leaves wax residue all over your skin. Consistency is horrible. So very disappointed and hope they take these reviews into consideration and bring back the old wax. This new product is AWFUL.

New formula is a disaster

published

I have used this product for YEARS and loved it for both my husband and myself. It used to take me 15 mins to wax. The new formula is atrocious as it is sticky and stretchy and doesn’t remove the hair. The wax doesn’t set… ever! The wax remains on the skin and sticks to anything it touches (bath, clothes, underwear). Please go back to the old formula.

Hate hate hate the new formula. What were you thinking, Nair?

published

Have used this product for years without a problem. The new formula doesn’t harden and pull off the hair. It is gummy and stretches like chewing gum when you pull. So it’s like deliberately putting chewing gum in your hair and then trying to take it out.

Why change the old formula?

published

The new formula doesn't heat well and the consistency is atrocious - lumping like chewing gum. It no longer pulls hair out, instead it breaks it off at the base when you can actually pull the wax away from your skin. I've used the original product for several years and found the argan oil essential in the success of that product. Now, with the removal of the argan oil, the wax sticks to your skin, breaks off in small places and drew blood once I pulled it off. I was left with half a job done but I couldn't stand the pain anymore, the wipes weren't even any use as they were dry - perhaps they've changed the formula for them as well - and I threw a new container in the bin. Who did they have review the new product before they changed it?

New formula terrible!

published

Bring back the old formula!!! It was great and used it for years. New formula soft, does not harden up, stays sticky and does not remove hair. It sticks to the skin like chewing gum and peels off in small pieces. After waxing oil and a massive scrub in the shower it is still stuck on my skin like glue. My face broke out in red lumps too. I have contacted the company 4 times with no response so I guess they don’t care. Buy something else or find the old formula. I threw mine in the bin - waste of $23 but less work than peeling it off for hours.

AVOID THE NEW FORMULA PACK!

published

I have used this for years and loved it. Since the NEW FORMULA came out it is horrible. It does not harden up at all and remains of a soft consistency, if you try and take it off, it just spreads everywhere until it becomes so thin you can't remove it at all and it stays stuck on your skin for several hours, even days. If you try to rub it off you end up with skin rashes and it simply fails to deliver. What a waste of $23. I will not be buying this again unless they bring the old formula back. I now have residual glue like think layers of this crap everywhere and my clothes are sticking to it. HORRIBLE.

Terrible and worst experience don't buy this product

published

I bought this product today. I thought may be it's good to wax my legs and arms. firstly, It's taking too much time when heated in microwave, longer than the recommended time. Secondly, I applied it on my arm and when I try to rip it off, it comes off in tiny pieces instead of the whole strip, which cause redness on my skin and pain. It is wastage of time and money really terrible. I never recommend this product.

This is not a good product. The purple wax is the one to use.

published

Go for the purple wax instead. This wax is a waste of money. I will be throwing my tub out. My skin is red raw after using it and the hair has not been properly removed. Wax breaks off in pieces.
