I purchased this at Bunnings for $150 because I was on a budget and wanted a compact Vacuum with a bag. Nilfisk is a brand most of you probably have never heard of before but boy does it do the job well!
Suction is very strong even after repeated uses, it is compact, easy to maneuver, easy to pack up, easy to replace the Vacuum bag (I replace the Bag twice a year). The bag replacements can be purchased online for a fair price. The vacuum also comes with the usual attachments which are stored within the vacuum. I highly recommend!

I replaced my Dyson when it wouldnt suck up my golden retrievers hair. This vac absolutely cleans the carpet. Lifts the pile up and sucks all the dirt and grit out of the carpet. I love it. My house does not smell doggy ever and it is quiet. Very quiet. Its not cheap but was compared to my Dyson. $799 Highly recommended.
Update. Eleven years.
We've passed the vacuum to our son for his place. Recently had to replace the vacuum head; it finally wore out after years of consistent use . I found the part on eBay for $20 including postage. The vacuum still works perfectly.

This has been the best little vacuum. Excellent suction and long extension handle (cheaper models will have a shorter extension). We live in an apartment beachside with all tiled flooring and area rugs; the vacuum is excellent for both, as well as the upholstery...

It is a good cleaner. Does the job well and has many attachments. The only disadvantage is the filter is difficult to clean. The cleaner is easy to store in the closet and it moves easily throughout the house. It cleans the cars carpet and floors as well. Thank you.

Bought this cleaner to do light work and be easily moved and carried. It has succeeded on all points and we are happy with its power on carpet and hard floors. This replaces another brand unit that the multi floor head jammed on carpets and was impossible to push. Both were bought from Bunnings, who happily exchanged the first vac.

I'm a cleaner, and chose this vacuum cleaner because it was by far the best of my clients' machines. It's small, light, moves easily but doesn't swing about wildly. It sucks well and gets dust and crumbs and works well on hard floors and carpet. It's not perfect around edges, but I haven't used a vacuum cleaner that is.

I had a much more expensive machine which was hopeless and this was recommended by the vacuum cleaner salesman. It has great suction and is light and easily maneuverable around the house. We have a mixture of polished floors and rugs and it is perfect for both. The head is easily adapted for all surfaces.

After buying 10 cheap Chinese Vacuum cleaners and throwing out each one virtually brand new in the bin with motors blowing up. I was given the Nilfisk Neo as a present from my brother. Thanks Dunk. It didn't blow up. I was surprised how cheap 5 new bags were as well. $11.00 at the Good Guys. Anyway just to say never buy a Chinese vacuum cleaner and try a Nilfisk. I was really feeling guilty with the unnecessary disposal of rubbish landfill. If you make a product manufacturers please make it once and make it right and don't make us your Quality control personal.
I can't believe the other reviews. I bought this cleaner at bing lee one year ago because it was one of the cheapest. Worst mistake ever! biggest issue is that even though it's supposed to be powerful, it's not sucking anything. I checked and emptied the tube, with no change. quality build is very low, only plastic pieces a kid would be ashamed of. When moving, the cleaner keep on turning himself on the back due to a very poor design. Don't know how they did this but it's easily upside down and hard to put back in the normal side. Bags are quickly full and cost more than 20 dollars to change.
I have the feeling I've been stealed, so please be careful before buying this product.

This is a good vacuum cleaner, I had one for about 3 years, used it for a lot of house renovation like plaster dust, and it had some time with the bag not on properly and lots of dust going thru the motor. Still runs quite well but suction was a bit reduced. Was going to replace the hepa filter but it costs $50 so just got a second instead and the first is now my garage/car vacuum cleaner. It sucks well but suction reduces quite a lot when the bag is almost full, usually replace it before its full. The bag is quite small but still lasts a reaso...
Read morenable time say a month or 2 in 3brm house. Also, on both vacuums the clip the holds the vacuum hand piece broke, which is a pity since its perhaps worst part of the vacuum. Good suction and reliable, good accessories (upholstery fitting especially), compact, simple but effective, good price Small bag, loses suction when bag full, expensive hepa filter,Cant belive am writing this but now have 2 of these little bewts, one in a rental and one at home. They are amazing, light, compact and very efficient, not to mention a star price, good European Quality as well. Forget the overpriced plastic Dyson things (am throwing on old one out as its heavy as and cheap plastic) and save yourself a packet, go out for a special meal on what you save....a little cracker of a machine!
Price, quality, design, size, weight, looks, quiet, just works well

I would not hesitate to recommend this vacuum to anyone. It does what it is meant to do and that is clean.
I have had this machine for about 3 months. It is light weight, quiet, suction is great, turbo head cleans rugs and carpet easily and has a handy and easy to store vaccum handle at rear of cleaner. The bag is easy to change with out losing any dust.

I have had mine for approx 2 years and it has performed well. The suction doesn't seem very strong and may not be very thorough on carpet but on timber floors it's great. The hard floor attachment makes it very easy to do a "quick" vacuum as it's brushes are quite long and glide over the floor without scratching.
Light and easy to drag around the house. I don't have any carpet in my house so perhaps I haven't tested it to it's full potential. The hard floor attachment is perfect for picking up dog hair and leaves no scratches.
Small dust bag needs frequent replacing.
Questions & Answers
My new Nilfisk Neo Parquet sticks like a limpet to my carpet when I try to vacuum. Have to dial the power back to minimum to make vacuuming carpet at all possible. Has anyone else had this problem?
Hi Jenny,
I have wood flooring but occasionally suck up a sock by accident. Too much suction ? Want to swap machines? Mine is still going but the filter bit gets a bit of crap in it when i replace the bag. Regards.... Mike
