Nilodor smells!

published

I got my car back from the autobody repair shop today. They cleaned and vacuumed it nicely, but someone there idiotically sprayed Nilodor inside my car. I have asthma AND allergies to scents. I would prefer to smell almost anything other than a synthetic odour like Nilodor. I am furious!

I used to smoke weed in my bathroom and then open the window so the smell would get out. One day my parents were not home so i smoked in the room and it was smelling very badly, i used this product and smell was gone. It works. It's magical.

White noise for the nose

published

We first used one drop on a crease in the top of the garbage bag in our kitchen bin when it was already full of badly smelling rubbish. I was surprised how it reduced the smells. Then we put it on the new bag when the bin was emptied and there is actually no smell. It's a pleasure to open my bin now.

Magic! Really works even on pet odours and mildew

published

I live in a very old cottage house, we had a pipe issue and ended up with some minor water damage and a strong mildew smell. I tried every trick in the book and nothing would get rid of the scent. I came across this product in coles for a reasonable price of $8 and gave it a go! One drop took out the strongest of scents. We also have an elderly cat who got sick and became incontinent, this stuff covered the lingering odour of cat wee and poo. Living in a small house this was a god send! I recommend this 100% give it a go!! One drop is all you need there is 200 drops per bottle that's great value. Fantastic product. Wouldn't be without it.

A great product

Bought from Coles just for a trial and it works perfectly the way we were expecting. It killed fishy smell that we cooked before our guest arrived. Its a great product, I'll buy it again.

It really works

published

So I have a teenager and we all know how that smells like, I saw this at Coles and initially, I was only going to buy Febreeze, but I thought "why not" so I did.
This works a treat!!! One tiny drop is all you need. Anything more and the smell is unpleasant.
Gets rid of musky smells, teenager odours, the fumes from bleach.
I'd buy it again.

Good for most odours but not some

published

I used this for my chest of drawers that i got from a second hand place, inside it smelt very musky and old the nilodor did not actully kill the smell but covered it instead once it wore off the smell still lingered around but was alot more suttle.

For other things however the nilodor worked well and stoped all the bad smells like for in bins kitchen and bathroom odors.

Magic for doggy smells

published

I first used this product over 30 years ago! (when first started working in a vet clinic, it was there).
Only found it again about 10 years ago - I'd say it is not as well known as it should be.
It is terrific for all those doggy accidents.
Good value, cheap, excellent concentrate form. can't recommend it highly enough.
A drop in the mop bucket is good, or on the window sill when a breeze is coming in, or just a few drops over a big room if bad smell.
Some good use ideas from other reviewers too.

Finally relief!

I'm pregnant and could not stand the smell of my house. It was literally making me naucious. I tried placing baking soda in a bowl, I tried vinegar in a bowl (both to suck odours out of the house) and neither worked that well. Today I put a drop of nilodor in a small dish and left it on the kitchen table. Wow!! very quickly removed the smell, and left a very nice, very light scent. Really happy.

You don't know till you use it !

I first discover this product in New Zealand in a chemist store. It's a fantastic product that gets rid of unpleasant smell of all sorts. I sprinkle a couple of drops on toilet & bathroom mats as well as mopping the wooden floor with it. More advertising to educate people to use this great product will be benificial.

Nilodor

I have used for years. It smells like sweet pink hubba bubba bubble gum. It is concentrated so if u overuse it the smell is overwhelming but only thing that gets rid of urine smells on mattresses and smoke smells. I run a Caravsn park and have cabins and it's great to get rid of curry smells and just rank smells from some guests!!! Love it!!!! It's magic!!!

Excellent!

One drop on cotton wool neutralises odours. If the smell of Nilodor is too strong, shut the door. Effective in a few minutes and the cotton wool can be removed, or wrapped in plastic for later use. Bought from Coles.

Works extremely well

I had a rotten smell in a bedroom that turned out to be a dead rat in the roof that we couldn't get at.So I put a few drops in a cap and each day for a week just topped it up.It is very affective and hid the smell till it had gone.

Excellent product

I have used nilodor for several years, and keep finding different uses for it. The latest, I put two drops in with my washing powder, the clothes come out of the washing machine, smelling sweet, and leaving the machine minus the musty smell. Couldn't live without it, but it is getting harder to find.
Always good results

How does it work?

published

This product is amazing. It's super effective at quickly and effectively ridding bad odours in any environment! I've used it in the office, at home and in the car. It is a gem of a product and by far beats any other deodoriser or sprat on the market. Highly recommended.
Only one drop is enough
Can be difficult to buy as it's not sold everywhere

Don't leave home without it.

When travelling, especially in a foreign country, quite often the hotel room and sometimes the fabric chairs in the room will have that stale well used smell about them but its all gone in just a few minutes once my magic green bottle has gone to work. Disaster several Woolies have deleted it. Where in Brisbane can I purchase it.
Reliable and inexpensive.

The most effective deodorizer.Just one drop is enough!!!

One little bottle lasted for more than 15 years and there are a few drops left. It is amazing with the effect and the very pleasant odor that one little drop gives and costwise works out the cheapest you can get on the market. I don't thing any other product can beat it.!!!!!
simple to handle
nothing wrong

One of my favourite products!

published

I put a drop on a cloth and use it to damp-dust, or to wipe the shower after my other favourite product. Then, putting the cloth in the wash with the towels makes them all smell nice! A drop in the bin, stinky drain, or water for mopping makes a huge difference. Very fresh.
Smells great and gets rid of other smells. A little goes a long way!

Hi,
I recently discovered a baby dead rat on top of my pollen filter that sits atop my aircon fan in my car, i dont know how long it was in my car for as it had made a nest, i only noticed it when a foul smell was emanating from the air con vents, i have removed the filter and disposed of both and i have also used 1/2 a can of deodouriser from the servo whilst the fan was running to try and get the deodouriser through the vents so it would remove the smell, i was wondering would Nilodor remove this smell for me if i was to place a few drops onto the new filter ?? If this doesnt work i will be trading my car in, please help the smell is nauseating..

IMPORTANT! The first thing to remember when using this product is NEVER, EVER apply the product directly to anything you wish to deodorise, as it will leave its own characteristic smell, and this can be a problem. In order to absorb odours, put the Nilodor onto a saucer, or a suitable disposable item (such as a plastic bottle cap of suitable size) which can be positioned close to the source of the odour. If you intend to drive the car during the deodorising attempt, remove the saucer (or bottle cap, etc) and put it back again when the car is not in use. Alternatively, make sure the saucer or bottle cap (or whatever you decide to use) is secured in such a way that it cannot dislodge or tip over while you are driving. I'm not sure whether the Nilodor will be powerful enough for this job, but try leaving it in place for at least a few days. If you use a saucer, it can be washed clean in a dishwasher. If you clean it by hand, be careful not to get the Nilodor on your skin. If you use a disposable item, just discard it in your rubbish bin when you are finished with it. If this fails, you could consult a car air conditioning company to see if they can do anything with it. Good luck!

Yes I understand the disgusting smell you describe, it was described on line as the smell of rotting flesh, absolutely correct.
We had this smell in the kitchen, and after spending days cleaning areas that didn’t need cleaning, we discovered the source, it was a huge water rat fried in the wiring of our practically new oven so after days again of cleaning, the smell was still there, and we had used everything we could find to remove this stench with no results. I was then told of NilOdour $7.40 in Coles, and within a day we had cleared the smell, cannot recommend it enough. It comes in a spray and a drop bottle.. the only complaint with the spray it leaks down the bottle when you spray might be a faulty spray container, but still 5*
