Great product, expensive but lifetime way.
Does a very good job of heating, no noise just hot. I would certainly buy one again, had it for a couple of years now and it does get a work out.
Purchased in May 2021 for A$499.00.

Great heat for electricity
Only had this heater for a short while, it's supposed to be economical to run but l can't vouch for that. I have it set to come on when the temp drops below a certain temp. It does that very well. Heats quickly and l like it, looks good, well made. The room is cosy of a morning while the others are chilly. It wasn't the cheapest to buy, but l have found cheap ones only last one winter and don't heat as well as this one.
Purchased in May 2021 at Harvey Norman for A$495.00.

This is an excellent heater
I'm on third of these heaters since 2012. I'm confused re people reviewing saying that they've "purchased" again. With the lifetime warranty, I've only paid for the original heater. When the first two packed it in, The Good Guys replaced them. They tested them, which backed up that they were not working, and away I went with a brand new heater, at no cost. Performance is great; they heat a reasonable-sized living area efficiently, and with no noise. $399 original outlay has kept me happily warm for almost 8 years.
Purchased in April 2021 at The Good Guys Physical store for A$399.00.

it is terrific
it is excellent in heating loungeroom and kitchen, the cost to run well might be expensive, but can't decide between Noirot or split system, everybody has a different opinion, the bill tells you the answer, but it gives a better heat rather than my split system. People say use the split because it's much cheaper but don't like the noise whereas the Noirot is quite you can't hear it

Efficient and money saving
I bought one of these because the gas heater was leaking carbon monoxide. I was sceptical but have to say it's pretty damn good. With easy settings and nice and skinny to put up again a wall, I've found this to be excellent. My house isn't insulated well so it keeps the one room I need to heat at a constant temperature. Controls are easy to understand and it's lightweight if I have to move it.
Highly recommend

Very efficient and reliable heater
I bought this heater 5 or 6 years ago to use in a glass house outside for my tropical orchids.
I have to say that it has never missed a beat, easily maintains 14C in the glass house and is well designed so it's not in the way. I am not sure if Noirot promote this device for use outdoors but I can highly recommend it and it's much more efficient than other green house heating options on the market. Obviously don't spray water at it but if you can keep it out of the way in the growing environment then it will work just fine. If it ever breaks down I will replace it with the same model.

Good heater
Used for few weeks now and it has worked as ecpected. Quiet and easily heats up mid size bedroom in around an hour or so, bumping temp up a few degrees. Timer is not that intuitive, but not hard if you read the instructions. Can maintain a set temperature all the time, or come on up to 3 set periods per day in 30 min or greater times, and up to a set temperature within the period. Can set 3 different time periods each day, or just set same periods for every day. Seems reliable so far, build quality looks a bit flimsy for the price. Is very ligh...Read more
t and easy to move, but has no handles, so is best not to move when it's hot. Must be plugged directly and properly in to the wall socket, not to an extension cord or power board as that is a fire risk, as it draws up to the full 10 amps a single normal power point can handle. Cord is only about 1.5m long.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

High quality heater
This is a very good quality heater, efficient and effective. Good design (make sure the wheels are in the box, though). The control panel is fairly easy to use, once you get the hang of how it works. You can set it to turn on and off at certain times for each day of the week, or the same time every day. The heater is completely silent, no fans at all. Also comes with a lifetime guarantee.

Great heater.
The noirot is an excellent heater with no noise, smell and comes with a replacement warranty for lifetime. The service center I'm Chatswood is also excellent. I had my first noirot some 7 years ago and it stopped working so I had a replacement promptly provided. The temperature emitted is also even and a consistent heat feels very comfortable.

Worst purchase ever!!
We bought this heater about 3 years ago and I regret it every time I turn it on. Because I can't just simply "turn it on" like any normal heater.
Its default setting, that it returns to every time it has been disconnected from the power for even just a minute, doesn't allow you to simply turn it on. I have to go through its control panel and set it to manual so I can turn it on. Even that is a task in itself as the control panel is so poorly designed and the print so small that I cannot read it without shining the torch on it and bendin...Read more
g over so my face is 2 inches away from the control panel. I wear glasses for night driving, but not for anything else. I certainly don't need them to operate any other device in my home. The panel is incredibly poorly designed, from both from the perspective of practical usability - being able to physically see and negotiate the menu system - and also from the perspective of software user friendliness. The panel is not at all "intuitive" to use. If I accidentally hit "program mode" while trying to set it to "manual" so that I can turn it on, I have to unplug the heater and wait for it to reset before trying to turn it on again as I haven't been able to work out how to escape from "program mode" once I accidentally stumble in. Again, this is not a problem I have with any other device in my home - I have no problem setting up the central heating, just everything about the design of this product in regard to usability is awful. I worked as a computer programmer for around 10 years and can't fathom how anyone could design such a poor user interface. It is awful in every way possible. The next gripe is the expense of using this heater. I've never been energy conscious, but I am now after this heater leading to us having electricity bills totalling over $4,000. UNBELIEVABLE!!! We bought this heater because we were undecided about whether to replace our broken central heating with another central heating system or a hydronic heating system - it would have been cheaper for us to have simply had a new central heating system installed and then ponder the question of whether to get hydronic heating later.Similar opinion? Good heather - but fiddly controls
Heater puts out good heat however the thermostat is a bit touchy - which makes it hard to find the right temperature. The electronic timer control is fiddly and a bit difficult to use - however i have no need for this. Good build quality - would recommend this heater.

Pricey -- good enough
Quality & performance is actually good, reflected on the high price and costly electricity bills. It warms up our living room (10m2) and make winter more bearable without excessive wool clothing. Besides the high price and high electricity consumption, its wheels are not that sturdy, the connector between the wheel and the stand are wiggling, all 4. I consider it a design defect.

Customer Service was OUTSTANDING
I had an issue with the heater (display not working) and rang their Customer Service Line. As I lived in Victoria, I decided to take the unit in for repair. The person that I spoke to on the phone was very helpful.
I had purchased the unit second hand.
The staff there were simply amazing. I could not have been happier with the HIGH level of customer service that I was shown and given.
These heaters are expensive, but worth every cent.
I have four in total. One of each in my 5year old and 2year children's rooms. They work as described.
WELL DONE NOIROT - your customer service at your Oakleigh location was, without doubt, the best I have received in a very, very long time. ...Read more

PERFECT heater
Lifelong warranty, easy to use, the thermostat maintain the room temperature extremely very well. Mobile, light weight, able to use it from room to room. Used every day last winter, electricity bill was cheaper than the year before when I was using a Dimplex convention heater. A bonus, given electricity has gone up. Highly recommend this product.

- Tends to get very hot and requires a surge protection outlet to prevent it overheating. We switch it off after an hour or so, and let it cool down before switching it back on again. - Like all heating appliances, this one also chews through plenty of electricity - There is no hook or clip on which to tie the loose cord around when it comes time to pack it away after winter. Even when in use, with the cord hanging loose, it tends to look a bit unsightly. SUMMARY Overall, we’ve been happy with this heater and, having tried many others to keep warm, it’s about the best one so far.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Super Quiet Heater but WAY TOO costly to run
Yes, these heaters are super quiet as there is no fan or moving parts. The 1500 is great for bubs room in winter during the night. We also bought a 2400w one.... and then watched our electricity bill DOUBLE from last year! What a shock that two heaters consumed so much power! Good Guys were kind enough to refund the 2400w. I don't recommend this unless you are rich. We are keeping the 1500w but will limit use extremely. If you can tolerate noisier heaters buy something standard with a fan. Sorry Noirot, not cost effective at all.

Electricity bill went through the roof
Firstly, you need to close room for it to heat up. Put in on two half hour overnight during last winter and my electricity went from $250 to almost $500 over 90 days.
When I use it in the lounge door open to kitchen and walkway, the room won't even heat up even at maximum setting. It's terrible I still have to hug onto a heat bag.

Shocking plastic wheels!!!
I own several of Noirot heaters, the 1500W in the bedrooms and 2400W in the lounge. The way they heat is good, however, the plastic wheels that break after a while of usage make them literally worthless. We had these plastic wheels break after a while on all 3 heaters, some within first year, some within 2, but all of them chipped off and we had to go back to the shop where we bought them to get new sets of wheels. I don't know how they sell these things at such high price with such poorly made wheel system that attaches straight to the bottom ...Read more
grill. Now what's worse is that the grill is bendable, so every time you put some pressure on the wheels, the grills bend, and then what happens is that you can't attach the next set of wheels on exactly the same spot as they won't fit onto bent grill, and so you have to attach the new ones on different portion of the grill every time. I really can't understand what's happening here, and now that my last 2400W Noirot has come down with same problem and it's only its second season, I certainly won't be buying these again. What a disappointment!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Love it - but can't work it!
We purchased our 2400 this time last year and it worked wonderfully all winter. Went to turn it on this season but we've had nothing but trouble. The "on/off" button only works when it feels like it, not sure if there is a particular angle I need to be on for it to work. But then when it's on, it's wonderful. Today, right now - the light is glowing but not emitting heat and no display (and it def isn't warm inside). We just don't understand...

I purchased a Noirot panel heater in 2009. I believe it's a 2400w. It has dials. The little red light and the clock is working. But I can't seems to get the heater to work. Am I able to reset. I can't find my manual. Thanks Jo
