I was pleased to get friendly informed help.The patrolman obviously liked his job and shared some advice on using a plug in tyre pump which had proved difficult for me to use.

Flat battery after playing radio for 30 mins.

After coming out from the doctors surgery I hopped in my car anxious to get home after having a flu shot but the car was dead. Had to wait 90mins for an NRMA patrol man but when he came all went well. New battery installed and some advice about don't play the radio when the motor is not running. Good advice.

NRMA for HELP

Have been a member for 53 years. I have all my insurances/road assist with them. Call centre in Australia which is an absolute plus. Always friendly whether on the phone or in person. Never had any issues at all. I can probably get a cheaper deal by shopping around but wouldn’t change as I know that NRMA are top of their game and as long as they keep their call centres in Oz I’ll be happy

My car broke down in Tweed Heads, turns out the water pump needs replacing. From the initial call, then the patrolman and finally the tow truck driver. Everyone was very professional, very Empathetic and Very helpful.
I would have been up the creek without a paddle if I hadn't had my NRMA ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE.

A great organisation

on more than one occasion have had to call on the NRMA to help me with a breakdown. They have always been very helpful and got me going. Once our radiator blew up in the bush on a gravel road 50 km from the nearest town in 40 C heat. The NRMA came and although it was about 9 pm, they got us home with the car. There was no one else to help. Only one car passed us while we were waiting. My wife and I were very greatful . Keep up the good work!

Flat Battery at Petrol Station

Filled up with petrol and then car didn't start.Pushed to side and phoned NRMA(got phone number and membership details from app. on my phone).Patrolman arrived quickly and tested battery.Original battery in 6 year old car.Replaced battery and tested and we were on our way.NRMA gives me peace of mind when i am on the road.

Excellent service from an extremely knowledgeable patrolman

I know nothing about cars and so panic set in when my car wouldn't start in my own garage on a Sunday. My call to the NRMA resulted in a knowledgable and friendly patrolman arriving very quickly. He diagnosed the problem with my car and had me on the road again. He explained the problem in simple terms so that I could make sure this was less likely to happen in the future and provided advice on how to keep my car in good condition in these COVID-19 days when I am not driving very far or very often. I highly recommend NRMA roadside service.

Bad batch of fuel.

Filled up my Ford Mondeo with diesel, next day had warning light water in fuel, after consulting goggle I thought I was in for a large repair bill. So I called NRMA assistance, the service person who came out was a walking encyclopedia on diesel engines, he told me to buy some Diesel doctor and pour it into the tank and add a bit every time I fill up. It fixed the problem no more warning light and the car has never run better, thanks saved me a bucket load of money.

Perfect Service from a Great Company

The Patrolman arrived within about 20 minutes of my call. Diagnosed the problem immediately, fixed it and I was on my way again with 15 minutes or so. Very pleasant Patrolman with a great attitude. I am so pleased I am a member of NRMA and have been for many years.

Came within the hour, where very polite and fix my flat battery efficiently. I had a special battery so another car had to come and that came within 25 mins. The organised this for me. Very happy with the service.

My car suddenly made a loud sound like something had broken even though I could still drive it. I pulled over and my husband and I had a look under the hood - definitely a major issue with a belt of some type. I called and spoke to Kylie who helped us make the decision to get the car towed to our mechanic. The tow truck turned up about 25 minutes after I logged the callout and he was friendly and efficient. Kylie helped us problem solve what the best option was as we weren't sure if it was the fan belt or timing belt - she said the roadside assistance might not be able to help much if it was the timing belt and we would be better off calling a tow truck. I've been a member since 1993 and have always had fantastic service from the NRMA.

I stupidly locked my keys in the car ...with my beautiful lil Frenchie Mila....
I was beside myself...and NRMA were so reassuring from the moment I rang!
I would probably have a broken window and a very stressed dog!!!
Then Clint came along ...and managed to move my keys...then pick my keys up...then press the “lock-button” all with his wire and wedge...tools!!! And he got miss Mila out !!!
You Are a huge asset to the NRMA TEAM - and a true professional!!!

Thought my Prius C hybrid had a complete system failure

My battery had gone flat however the car error message indicated I had a hybrid system failure (which requires a tow 50kms from Valla to nearest Toyota Dealer in Coffs Harbour).
I phoned for assistance and the operator suggested I have a patrolman check first before ordering a tow truck.
The patrolman immediately diagnosed a flat battery which he recharged so that I could drive to the Toyota Dealer who could change the battery if required. He was also able to follow me to Urunga to ensure I had no further problem.
He was calm, competent and reassuring. I on the other hand had been anxiously expecting a major & expensive repair. True NRMA assistance.

I am afraid that we do not offer discounts on NRMA Batteries, however we do offer free deliver and installation backed by a 24/7 warranty if something goes wrong. Being an NRMA Gold Member, we also offer a discount on Membership fees each year for up to 2 vehicles. - Paul

As a long standing Member of over 50 years, you should be receiving a 50% discount on your Membership coverage. For Premium Care coverage, this would be reduced to $102 from $204 or $56.50 for Classic Care instead of $113.
