WILL IT GRIND rice in or almonds in a small amount of milk perhaps to make a healthy custard?
2 answers
Hi Margaret. With a small amount of water, I managed to grind carrots and potatoes easily enough. I didnt try, but it shouldnt have a problem with almonds in milk. Rice, not sure.
I have so far ground both almonds and walnuts (not rice yet through) and it has had no trouble at all. It's really powerful! Sounds like a good idea re the custard! :)

Has any body had a problem with the cups of the Nutri ninja IQ? My 650 ml cup that I use every morning has melted at each lug which connects the motor to the cup. It has also warn the start switch in the motor where it clips in. It looks like it is from vibration and friction causing heat. I have only had the machine for 1 month and use it daily.

I've had this problem as well! I've only had my machine for about a 2-months and use it 2-3 times a day. As I got mine from Costco I'm currently tossing up either exchanging it for a new one or exchanging and upgrading to a vitamix! As it seems other users (yourself) are having the same problem I'm now leaning more to upgrading to a different machine!
We've had the same problem after about one month of daily use. The tabs on the cup no longer activate the micro-switches. Does anyone know where I can purchase new cups from? It's an unfortunate and significant flaw in an otherwise brilliant product.

Can it blend nuts? Not necessarily for nut butters, although that would be a super plus, but more like adding almonds to smoothies. And is it gritty?

Will it juice raw beetroot and carrots?
3 answers
Raw beetroot - Yes
Raw carrots - yes
Included recipe book mentions both in differing drink concoctions.
Yes, just add some water to carrots and the beetroot
Yes to both. For a smoother texture, I sometimes soften very slightly in microwave before adding to my green smoothies but mostly add raw.

Hi,
I was wondering where I could buy a Nutri Ninja with Auto-IQ or the Nutri ninja pro BL450 in Sydney. Could anyone help me out?
6 answers
Hi, I purchased mine at The Good Guys, we had a great sales rep & when I asked him for a discount for cash he gave us 3yrs extended warranty for no extra, so it was $249.
Thanks for your prompt answer. Much appreciated! Which outlet of The Good Guys did you visit? And did the Nutri Ninja come with 3 cups (500ml, 650 ml & 900 ml)?
I've tried GoodGuys and Harvey Norman at Nunawading today and both said it's on back order and expect to wait about a month for it to be available again.
