I made the mistake of purchasing an iPhone click (wait) and collect. I was not told the order had been cancelled, only found out when I was wondering where the email or text was and checked my order history online. I figured it was probably a hot item, so a week later purchased a slightly more expensive model click (wait and collect). They cancelled again without notice. I'm out of pocket a could of thousand dollars because their refunds take forever, over a week later and still haven't seen the first purchase refund.

I eventually got through and they claimed my purchases were rejected because of security issues with my card (there are no security issues with my card, it is mine, it works, it has plenty of funds). We had a missing order that had been placed on 16 Oct. Part of the order had been collected but standard printing ink was reportedly unavailable. Delivery tracker showed it delivered to APW on 19 Oct but checks at the store 22, 23 & 24 Oct suggested it was not there.
10 days after the order submitted & paid for, we were still none the wiser, so we formally complained on 26 Oct via the official Officeworks’ complaint system which promised to resolve our issue within 5 business days.

Where do I start?!In June I purchased a replacement Apple watch online for click and collect at the Kawana store. I first checked they had stock and placed the order. I was attempting to save time when collecting the same between business meetings. I selected the Kawana store as I knew I was passing the following day.
After placing the order for an item supposedly in stock, I noted that instead of being available for collection the following day, the item was to be available in 48 hours. While this was disappointing, it was still manageable.

Before heading to my meeting I attempted to contact customer services but gave up after 20 minutes of holding. Instead I phoned the Kawana store and was told that the item was not available, was out of stock, and had been out of stock at the time the order was placed. I ended up waiting a further two days before the item arrived at the store and had to make a separate trip for collection. This was an item that I could've bought for the same price from a number of other retailers without going out of my way. Missing Items from Online Order - No reply 1 week after using contact form
Ordered a bunch of shipping boxes, laptop, labels and bubble wrap.
All arrived together very quickly within 2 days but no shipping boxes as charged? Emailed them a week ago and called the next day to be told they will be arriving separately but it's been over a week already and still waiting ( they never replied to my initial email ).
The online ordering system doesn't tell you if the items are getting shipped together or separately and the customer service provided over the phone doesn't help much either in this situation.

Don’t buy anything from them. Staff have no knowledge and very rude. Process is very slow and get your money back you need to keep chase this people. Never Again. Absolutely Rubbish palace to waist my time and money.

Website is ok but placed an online order 7/10 and it still hasn't arrived instore. The expected delivery date keeps getting extended and they don't even let me know, I just have to log on to see whats happening. Who knows when I will ever see it.

Pre ordered the Google Pixel 6 Pro and they cancelled my order about a week later claiming the account didn't meet security standards, they couldn't tell me what exactly was the problem. They unflagged my account and said to place another order however the product is now out of stock. Wasted my time and missed out on the preorder freebie, I think they didn't have enough stock and cancelled our order for that reason, really disappointed.

Click & Collect service at Hornsby was so bad, after 3 attempts I gave up and requested a refund online twice. I have had no response to these requests. Ironic for an organisation whose tag line is "make bigger things happen"
Online service is incredibly poor. Usually in store is fine, like any regular retail, but online is terrible if you have an issue. Ordered an item for click and collect on Oct 4, date of collection kept getting pushed forward. Date of collection is now a month after I placed the order, still being pushed back.
Have been told click and collect orders can't be cancelled online, have to do a return. Can't do a return as I don't have the item. No responses to my emails requesting an update or a refund. Have had to open a PayPal case as it's obvious...

In-store has nothing, can only get need on-line yet 10 mths unable to access online, No communication in person, via phone or emails, professionalism and customer service non-existent... sack Tech person & all who have no communication skills... give jobs to those that really want work & go beyond to help customers & business

I ordered a laptop online that was supposed to arrive today. In the website it was saying the the product was ready for collection so I went to the store. For my surprise the attendant told me the product wasn’t ready for collection yet. So wasted my time and petrol for nothing. My suggestion to everyone? Buy in Amazon, the service is way more reliable…
I had ordered an iPhone plus a case on 28.8.2021 and I still haven't received it. I was supposed to get it on the 4th of Oct and it is now 27.10.2021. I paid so much for this and what I get in return is a clear case but no phone. I changed the order to click and collect and I've been waiting for 2+ weeks. Never order from here. Looking into suing them if they don't return my money !!!!

Purchased a Fellowes A4 Ion Laminator from officeworks back in August, unboxed it and it worked fine. Went to laminate a very important document yesterday AND IT ATE THE DOCUMENT AND COMPLETELY JAMMED. I could not get it out so had to smash it open with a mallot to retrieve the document which was all shrivelled up like a crinkle cut potato chip !!!!! Thats not what I paid for office works, what a piece of crap. I had only used the Fellowes A4 Ion Laminator ONCE for crying out loud and I know how to use a laminator so really what the hell officeworks. I would send the Fellowes A4 Ion Laminator back but its in pieces !!!!!!! Never again office works, never again. :(((((((

Ordered online a Apple Watch with 2 hour Click and Collect on the 18th October, got a text message to say your order will be ready soon, later that day message from them saying order has to be send from warehouse it will be ready next day, next day the expected delivery day was moved to the following day. Do not bother with paypal if you need to make a return. I paid for 3 items via PayPal online for click and collect. Attempted to cancel as I changed my mind but couldn't contact anyone at 1300 office (kept timing out) and the store I purchased from (Airport West) apparently couldn't help me either. Was told by a staff member to attend the store when ready for collection and a refund would be issued at the store. Went in store for the refund waited 30 minutes because they had issues with the machine then I was told to go back home with the items...

The manager offered no apology for the stuff around. I went home submitted the online form and have been waiting for someone to collect the items assess them and issue a refund. 2 weeks into this process still no refund and no one has picked up the items. Purchased a sit/stand desk on 29 August because the site stated it would be ready to collect on 5 September. Now at 20 October and still no sign of the desk and no communication with Officeworks in any way. They won’t take phone calls and won’t reply to emails. The tracking function just keeps pushing out the store delivery date day after day with no explanation. We understand the lockdowns would mean big demand but they don’t adjust the stated delivery dates to suit. Far easier to just trick people into making a purchase and enjoy their money while they don’t have the product anywhere near when indicated.

I was super impressed by the timeframe at the Fitzroy store for click and collect. I ordered late in the evening and received an update before 10am the next day that my order was ready! When I arrived the process was simple and efficient, and the staff were friendly.
I placed and paid for an online order for 3 plastic storage boxes back on 05 July 2021. It is now 16 October 2021 and I still haven't received my order. Trying to call them or even email them is a complete waste of time. The phone is never answered, or a voice message tells you to ring back later or submit online. Emails are never answered. Every week I track my order, and every week it says the order will be delivered the following week. And this ridiculous "next week" delivery has been going on now for over 3 months. This is the very worst service ever!
I paid for a headset to use for work in August. 2 months later I’m still waiting. Order says it’s confirmed, I received the cheaper pair that I ordered for my son, but am still waiting for the noise cancelling ones that I ordered for me to use while my son is doing remote learning and I am working from home.

I ordered a new iPhone on the 3rd October, I am currently without a working phone and we are in lockdown in Melbourne. Tracking system indicated order confirmed, preparing your order, ON THE WAY, this had not changed since receiving the initial advice on 29 October. So I went to the Myfreight site to get a live??? delivery update which indicates Dispatched 29 SEP 2021 05:13AM, Booked 29 SEP 2021 05:15AM, Picked up 29 SEP 09:22AM, ETA 29 SEP 2021. This live update has not changed in 15 days???? I then waited to speak to someone on the 1300 633 423 number and after some considerable time I eventually spoke to a woman (Agnes?) who took all the details and said she would escalate the issue, she gave me a case number and said someone would ring me back, the call took just under 23 minutes. Still nothing, no goods, no call, absolutely nothing – good customer service – I THINK NOT. So I rang again, they are still having more than usual number of calls, but I persevered, eventually spoke with Monica?, gave her all the details. She advised that the issue was forwarded to Warehouse on Monday (11 October), Monica advised that order was picked up then cancelled??? NOT the ORDER the PICKUP??, I asked her who did that and she could not tell me from the system. Monica advised that she had spoken to her supervisor, Lauren and that the matter would be escalated (again) and forwarded to the Team Support group, she could not tell me who. She said someone from that group would ring me in the next 24 – 48 hours (I’ll keep my fingers crossed!!) I stayed on the phone as requested for feedback and gave them a “0” for the call and a “0” for Would I recommend them. This call lasted nearly 37 minutes. Officeworks systems and processes obviously don’t work, because none of the above makes sense to me, I would not recommend this service to anyone.I order a monitor on Friday morning before 11:30 AM and it said its meant to arrive on Monday. Waited all Monday to receive any email or txt about it but got nothing. Tried calling them 5 times and they only answered once, and the call was absolutely useless. They kept saying its coming at 4 PM, then they said Tuesday morning and now they are saying Wednesday. What's even worse is that the warehouse is less than 30 minutes away from the store. This is just outrageous. Wouldn't expect that from OfficeWorks.
I had an order that was half fulfilled but fully charged. The second part of the order keeps getting pushed out. If you ring to discuss, their recorded message says to call back later. My advice to others in this predicament. (1) Raise a complaint on their online system. You will get a case number. (2) After 5 business days of no response, raise a disputed credit card claim with your bank and quote the case number. Officeworks and Wesfarmers need to feel the pain from the banks. Do not give them your business
