This dishwasher is really quiet, I barely even realise its on. My dishes come out really clean better than hand washing. The only thing is that the drain hose is a bit short, and the fact that omegas customer service are slow and delayed. Upon using my dishwasher for the first time it had an error come up, nothing major but I worked out and fixed the problem but the error message didn’t disappear, when I contacted them, they were slow at responding and wanted to send a service man out to fix it after I already resolved the issue.

Read moremprovement could be the child lock system. When you turn child lock on it means that if the child oresses buttons it doesnt change the settings, but a child could still open the door or turn the power button on and off. Im just lucky my 2 year old isnt strong enough to open the doshwasher door I bought the dishwasher at a great price too and it was a bargain at half price! I have no problems now with dishwasher and im glad I purchased it. It helps me out alot sonce I havent got much time now to do dishes, having a 2 year old and twin newborns.- 26 reviews

We've had this dishwasher now for more than two years and it's my first Omega product. While it's been a sturdy workhorse, the horse has some marked defects which mean I couldn't ever recommend it:
- As others have noticed, wash performance is hit and miss. I've found that dropping the tablet into the bottom of the dishwasher so it gets started in the rinse cycle has helped somewhat.
- Tray layout isn't the worst that I've ever seen but it certainly isn't the best either. Can't describe exactly why it doesn't work for me, but this is perha...

We had this for dishwasher for 4 years. I found I was needing to rewash dishes most of the time because they weren’t coming out clean regardless what washing tablet I’d use. It was quiet while running and I did like that there was a lot of options for cycles.

This is my first dishwasher and found it’s very easy to use has no problem so far. It has 12 settings also if it is half loaded it has options to save water and electricity comes with delay start feature which helps to clean in dishes during off peak hours and also basket is adjustable.

Had this over a year now and happy with it. Cleans the items well and no streaks on the glassware. Only fault is the top drawer which pulls out but does not smoothly go back in so you constantly have to jig it about. Had someone come out to look at it and he just confirmed its a cheap assembly so nothing could be done.

A NIGHTMARE from day one. Don't believe the positive reviews. Worst machine ever.
I really don't know why there are positive reviews for this thing. It's the worst dishwasher I've ever encountered.
Does it clean dishes?
Sure. If you run the near 3-hour cycle it'll get most of it clean. Of course, it also gums up the spray blades.
Is it loud: I didn't find it particularly loud. About normal for a cheap dishwasher.
Of course, it's less than 6 months old and no longer washing with hot water. I hope my landlord has the warranty because it is a piece of junk. I have to believe these positive reviews are paid or staff bec...
Read moreause even brand new it wasn't a good dishwasher. My previous one went through years of renters before me and still cleaned like a boss up until the day it died. From day one I had to run a soak cycle before running a 3-hour heavy cycle for a normal night's dishes. Oh, and those pans would be teflon. But the most disappointing feature when it as working was the way you couldn't fit a plate in the bottom rack. I have to wonder if the manufacturer was drunk when they designed this thing.Related Articles

Its very good dish washer, cleans well, does not harm utensils, very user friendly has facility to add glass cleaning liquid keeping freshness in them, utensils come out nice and clean, and is very quite washing and has a child lock, less space consuming in kitchen, looks good. Good energy and water rating

I bought the diswasher last december. With the price of $499, it does a good job with cleaning and drying, it has the feature of 10 place setting capacity lets you wash lots of dishes,it has racks and baskets.the sound is ok compare the old one. the favourie feature is water efficiency.

Really inconsistent in the quality of the clean, in spite of cycle length and quality detergent. Hassle adjusting shelves. Two person household, used once per day minimal loads dishes rinsed prior to stacking. Weekly clean of waste catcher and monthly clean with recommended product. Water pump went when just out of warranty - Pump replaced and 10 months later water pump gone again! Customer service pitiful. I will never buy another one. Worst product! It is worth paying that bit extra for a quality brand.

Doesn’t fit normal size plates in default position . When top rack is raised to fit normal size plates it doesn’t easily slide back far enough to close door, many attempts required. Side racks top shelf too narrow for mugs, cups. I have told family and friends, don’t buy an Omega dishwasher.
Too small to put dishes in. For some reason it forces food scraps into the wash blades, gumming up the whole thing. I can't remember the last time I've had dishes washed without chunks of food and other grossness baked onto them. The only thing this works well as, is a bench to put our microwave atop of.

Don’t use it as it doesn’t even have room to stack your plates upright.
Absolutely terrible waste of my money
It quite loud
The spinning water jets actually hit the plates if you put them where they are meant to be stacked upright so therefore we don’t use it at all it just sits there
No favourite features as we don’t use it
Worst product one bought in years

It's ok. Cleans ok. Love all the space inside. In the beginning I loved it. Very easy to use. We have had it a few months now and it has started buzzing. Does anyone know what that is....it is soooo annoying. The front of the maching seems to be getting a specked finish on the stainless steel coating. Seems poor quality.
Sorry. This dishwasher does not clean at all. Food on dishes, its a waste of time even using it. Don't waste your money. Help from omega is non existant. I have the photos of the dishes after going through 2 cycles to prove its just an ornamental piece of metal.

It cleanes well but I would have liked it to get better..and is quiet while in action. I like the options to do a half load but it saves water not time. The cutlery draw which I though I would love actually drives me insane and takes up alot of excess room. I love that the top rack can move up or down.

Excellent performance. Someone did not use if properly, you'd better select a proper program to clean. For large plates, you can adjust the upper basket level and put large plate at the bottom and you can get a good clean. Clean is OK. Great value. Only 400-500, when compared with other makes, this one is much better.

Good dishwasher if your not wanting to spend a lot of money. Its pretty quiet and washes the dishes pretty well. The drying isn't the best. I have to open the door after it's finished to let the steam out and dry. The tablet dispenser won't open if you have anything bigger then a very small saucer plate. Even though the manufacturer instructions tell you they can be put there.

Bought it from Harvey Norman last year and I haven't had a problem since then.
I won't say it's the best dishwasher but for the price it does its job very well.
Runs quietly.
I run it for 1 hour and use fairy tablets and for a small family of 3 I only run it once a day and fits all my pots and pans and dishes of the whole day.
Doesn't work too well on old grease but its alright for daily usage
Does not clean, even when dishes are scraped and rinsed first. Machine was part of handover of new home built in 2014. Just out of warranty and needs a new board and thermostat! Approx $500 to fix! RRP $899... Unacceptable! Will pursue with Fair Trading. Not confident in fixing it to last another 2 years. Machine is not fit for purpose!

The biggest peice of junk I've ever come across. Will be buying a new dishwasher soon and I will not even sell this one on for $1. The guilt of passing it on to another poor unsuspecting soul would be too much for me to live with. I'm going to light it on fire and watch this peice of crap burn with great pleasure. Can put glasses in it or bowls. Only thing it sometimes washes is plates but only on intensive.

This is our second Omega ODW702XB stainless dishwasher and they are absolutely the best.
The first we purchased new a few years ago for our previous house in NSW, we sold and moved to QLD where there was a Dishlex in our new house that kept flooding the kitchen.
So, we bought our second Omega @ $430.
Tried and tested, easy to operate, very quiet and washes really dirty BBQ dishes with ease (using Aldi's dishwasher tablets).
Absolutely the best dishwasher !.
I'd say Danielle O didn't read the user guide because the top tray is height adjustable. In the highest position, you can have plates 370mm diameter in the bottom tray.

Doesn't wash dishes properly! Food scraps get recycled with the water and even into the inside of the spray bays (which blocks the water spray). Doesn't spray sufficient water to clean the dishes. Dishwashing powder tablets also weren't fully dissolved by the machine - only used recommended amount. All in all, I think not worth buying.

Wiped over door with a damp cloth only and program guide wiped off without any effort after only 3 wipes. The top rack difficult to slide back when stacked, however easy to slide back in store when empty which doesn’t help.
