I really like it. Esp on the value for money side
I purchased my Oppo A5 2020 from Betta Electrical for $299 AUD. I think it has some great features. I wish it had a barometer, but that's not that important. For the money I think it takes pretty good pictures and video. It's snappy and fast. It has some Ai Capabilities, it has a finger print scanner that seems to work really well. The list goes on. I'm not the most phone savvy person, but this phone seems very good to me.
Purchased in February 2021 at Betta Home Living for A$299.00.

good phone outranks some other brands for the price
This is my review for the smart phone, Oppo A5 2020 Model CPH1943. This had been repackaged for Telstra Prepaid, 4GX (assembled in China). The Oppo Australia website reads: Buy Now A5 2020 Prices Start From $299 at Telstra. So this model only seems to be currently available to Telstra online store in Australia and is locked to Telstra.

. Not all Oppo models have the exact specifications, some come with 3 GB RAM. (Specifications and internal memory capacity and contents such as accesories can vary/differ with Oppo models in other countries or other network providers or stores). Mine comes in a white box specially labelled in gold 4GB RAM, 64 GB ROM. So make sure you check the specifications and contents before you buy. Installed with Android version 9 with Color OS V6.01. Functionality is super fast. Multitasking, swapping and changing from apps and swiping is very fast and seamless. Including super fast unlock display with face recognition, fingerprint and passcode security. The finger sensor is located at the back of the phone. The top ear piece design had been improved as there is more wider space for the ear piece hole and sound ( compared to another Oppo model AX5 CPH1851 ). The sound is loud from the extra built in speaker at the bottom. Using the top builtin earpiece and the bottom builtin speaker it sounds adequate in stereo. Front and rear cameras produce good sharp still photos with video stability. I've ordered the Marine Green but the back cover is so dark that it looks black and the sides look blue to me. The Oppo A5 2020 Model CPH1943 has a single slot for SIM and single slot for micro SD.Purchased in November 2021 at Telstra online store for A$299.00.
