Ticks all the boxes for the fraction of the price for a 'brand name' mobile.
Was a spur of the moment purchase, I thought it'd only last a few months if that, esp as my iPhone and Samsung prior only each lasted 13 months exactly. Have had this mobile for years and it's still going.
Strongly recommend trying out not well-known brands.

A great phone!
Bought the Oppo R7 not long after they were released in Australia, and based on good tech reviews. It's been a great phone.
It comes with a protective case and screen protector factory installed, a portable battery pack with built in connector for when you are away from a recharge point, and the fast charger is fantastic - 90% charge in half an hour and 100% in less than 2 hours.
Camera takes great photos, apps all work well, and calls are loud and clear. The screen can be a bit hard to read in full sunlight, but that's a very minor issue. Battery life has been pretty good.
When/if this one finally dies, I plan to get another Oppo!

Wow, what a great fone!
I did a lot of research and asked a lot of people in the geek buying business, and this phone came out in front of Blu Pure XL and Yu Yutopia. It's a premium feel, curved screen and metal body. Dual SIM/ sim+sd card. Fantastic display resolution, and fast as. Highly recommended.

A great mid level phone for the price.
I too bought this phone to replace a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, which unexpectedly died just out of warranty.
The Oppo R7 does have a great screen and it feels solid and well made in the hand. Oppo's skin on Android (ColorOS) is also really good.
The fast charge is excellent, but note you must use the supplied Oppo fast charger if you want that rapid charge time. It will charge from a regular USB charger, but not any quicker than a normal phone. Also the battery life is ordinary, especially compared to the Xperia Z3 Compact (which had outstanding battery life).
The camera isn't brilliant but it is serviceable and has plenty of useful modes and effects.
The built in speaker is pretty tinny and call quality is only adequate.

My Best Android Yet
Value for money this is the best phone on the market. It is above average for power (somewhere in between a Galaxy 5 and 6) but with a great price tag. My previous phone was an overpriced Sony Xperia Z3 Compact which was great while it lasted (5 months) before I cracked the screen just a bit and the whole touch screen failed. This phone is better than the more powerful Z3 in many ways and cheaper to boot. In fact, the only things the Z3 were better at was the camera, memory, and battery life but these things were only marginally better. The Z3 ...Read more
was supposed to be tougher, but the Oppo has proven to be the strongest in this field. The Oppo has extremely fast charging (30 minutes over 90%), a great camera and beautiful screen, a very solid operating system, slimline and strong feel and works a treat. I love this phone. I bought Oppo as I know the brand well. Oppo specialises in top end Blu-ray players that are simply the best on the market. I currently own their BDP-93 player which has insanely good visuals and sound and up scales DVD the best on the market. So, if Oppo can deliver the best BD players it makes sense their phones are great, too. I paid $449 at the Optus store. The phone comes with a screen protector on and has a clear silicone case, a USB charger and a spare portable power pack included. Highly recommended, HanzoSimilar opinion?
