New Product Trial
In the Myer center in Brisbane I tried some new products with King. I have never exfoliated, it was amazing how much better my skin felt after only 1 treatment. Then I tried the red light treatment. After only 5 minutes many of the wrinkles had visibly disappeared. This looks like an amazing product. I will be back to purchase in the future. I was pleased there was no hard sell and therefore am happy to return again when I can afford more products.

Pushy sales tactics
At Southland today and had similar experience as previous reviewers. Was targeted offering a free sample of eye cream by practically shoving it in my face, which was then followed by the sales tactic of trialling the exfoliating scrub on my hands and then the pressurising sales tactics already mentioned in previous reviews. Can’t speak about the quality of the product, as yet to try it but annoyed at myself for feeling I was pushed into buying a product because of feeling pressured by such pushy salesmen. They would give used car salesmen a run for their money. Annoyed at Westfield management for allowing such sales practices within their establishment and will be submitting a complaint to them.

Couldn’t escape from the sales person..felt trapped.
At Northland in Melbourne I was targeted by a young man with a sample of Origani. Then I found myself on a seat being asked numerous cliched questions like “Don’t you think you deserve the best? “ and having products put on my skin without my wish or consent. I felt myself being sucked into some ghastly vortex and ended up paying more than I have in my lifetime on skin products. There were promises of discounts and much flashing of calculators. I am a pensioner and simply could not afford all this. Afterwards I felt angry and resentful and would urge anyone reading this to avoid Origani sales people at all costs.

Pushy but finally get out with some bargains
After checked out those reviews below, i dont feel so bad now for the purchase of scrum salt, butter cream and neil polishing pack for $120 after i said i want to go to pickup my family. Before that, the salesman was trying to sell them for $280 on Special Christmas promotion and only last 15mins before closing the shop. Agreed, their sales techniques are very pushy, and keep apply the products one after one on a guy's hand LOL, i was just walking pass after xmas shopping. For my wife, i think $120 on origani is not too much rip off, the produ...Read more
cts seem to be fine, but i dont think they should cost that much, and there are a lot of subsitutes in market with a good price, for example, the body scrub salt $12 a pack. Btw, it seems a big room on the price negotiation ;) go low as you think when comparing the similar products in the market.1 comment

Even a single star is a shame! Good product, extremely bad sales tactics!
Rude, no product information, just straight hard sales tactics.
Hey?
Are you here to buy something today?
So you will buy?
What's your budget?
Pushes a calculator to me??
I am like I just need to look at and options for a cream and serum pack that I could gift someone.
Nothing about, how old, complexion, lifestyle, and allergies??? Nothing just what is your budget ? ... I was like, please keep you calculator and if I wanted to buy a used car, I wouldn't be at a pop up store, in garden city Brisbane..being served by the regional manager mr. KING himself! Disappointing follow up experience
After a lovely encounter with Tom at the Myer Centre in Brisbane (enjoyed the banter) followed by a purchase of eye serum which I felt pressured into buying (my fault for saying yes), I then went to have my free skin analysis at the Edward Street store. It started off well, apart from being made to watch a YouTube clip on the ladys phone? A brief discussion was had but no skin analysis done at all. It was very clear that her aim was sell me a Perfectio and all was jolly until I said that I, like most people, didnt have the odd $2000 + to buy ...Read more
one. She then went to 'email' the manager for a deal. Had to be the fastest email/response ever and came back with a so called half price deal. Well, I' ve done my research and know that her 'offer price' was the normal price. As soon as I said no again, her whole demeanor changed and she virtually turned her back on me and lost interest. No attempt made to sell any other products. Oh, and apparently, she is a naturopath too. Saw no evidence of that either. Extremely disappointed Origani. You have lost another potential customer through hard sell tactics and lack of customer care. Not impressed with the eye serum either. I have other products which do a better job.1 comment

Super pushy and intimidating
A few years back (2014), I was with a friend at Garden City and walked past the Origani pop up. The sales person sucked me in saying my skin looked dry and scarred. I was 15 at the time and had acne so what were you expecting from teenage skin? I had covered it up with some light makeup too but way to make a teenager feel bad about her skin. She tried the manuka honey peel on my hand and asked how I felt about the product etc. I was impressed since peels weren't common back then. She then brought me to the counter and said something like, "For ...Read more
today only you can get it for this price," and "I'll add in this product and you can get x discount alongside," etc. I repeat, I was 15 with no job yet and only pocket money from my parents. I could not afford their products and their ridiculously crazy price points. I kindly refused saying I do not have the money but she just kept being pushy. So I ended up saying I'll come back some time later to get the products (just to make her happy) to which the sales person replied, "Do you have a job?" and I said no and that I would get money from my parents. She said to make sure to come back the next day to buy the products off of her and it is safe to say that I never came back. This is absolutely disgusting. I understand you need to make commission some how but do not go around targeting young teenage girls who can not afford these products. Fast forward to this year, I was once again sucked in after trying to decline them waving their flier at me. Once again, the salesperson tried the Manuka honey peel on my hand again and he asked me how I felt about this product. I currently use a Korean brand skin peel for a much cheaper price point that does the same job so I said "I have a product similar to this and I don't need it." He asked if I use any nail products and I told him I was not interested as I have eczema on my hands and try to avoid using anything that could cause it to flare up. He then tried to offer me some kind of moisturiser claiming that it would be good for my eczema at another ridiculously high price point and tried to calculate the cost per use. It came out to be around $1 to use everyday. I have moisturisers that are way cheaper to use everyday! I also mentioned that I cannot use scented moisturisers for my hands as it can cause my eczema to flare up as per my doctors instructions. He tried to fight back saying numerous customers use it for their eczema and haven't had a problem with it. I rejected his claim and told him that I'm pretty sure my doctor would know what's best to use for my hands. He did the traditional tactic of promoting a discount for that day only and even though now I have a job, I would not spend a fraction of my hard earned money to a pushy salesman. I told the salesman that it was out of my budget and I didn't need such products at the moment. After realising I was adamant about my decision, he finally let me go. I always try my best to avoid origani now as I always feel intimidated and uncomfortable when they try to sell me their products. Even when they try to approach me with a flier in hand I feel the same way. I often just pretend I'm on my phone just to avoid them.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Bad experience
The products are alright but the experience is so bad.... Came to Town Hall today and was dragged into the store and the second I know Ive already bought it. Again very pushy salesman. He said to give me a 150$ off the original price but I actually paid for the original price.

First things first, Im weak, I find it hard to say no, so thats on me. Bit at the pop up shop in Brisbane Garden City, one of the employees approached me, this guy was lovely, he did i good job of the sample and I agreed to buy the package, easy peasy in and out.. that came to $350 .. the boss man that was working with him, overheard us and told me how sad and tired my skin looked, saying I needed eye serums and blah blah, I told him I was in a rush and he said I know I know I just really want to help you. Pft. What a mistake. He pulled all the...Read more
se serums out, and yeah whatever, I thought fine Ill just buy it, we went to register and the total price for everything was $750! I told him I really cant afford that! He pushed and pushed telling me I needed it (soo rude) he then showed me pictures of previous clients who brought $10,000 gadgets, telling me I only have the basics. (Like seriously dude) The product itself, doesnt seem $750 worth! At all. Definitely a learning curve!! Never again will I let these places get me! ALSO - the boss said he would get a colleague to call me for a free facial worth $150 at one of his places. I never got that call.1 comment

Really pushy. Feel violated.
I was just walking by the shop and a lady gave me a hand cream sample. I went to move on and she said she had a special free gift for me for my eyes. I said no thanks. I have to go. Terrible, manipulative sales tactics
I'm another potential customer who's been turned off by the unbelievably pushy and manipulative sales tactics of the Origani sales staff. Walking past a store in Melbourne, I was startled by one of their staff calling out to me "hey lady!". I was then subjected to such forceful sales tactics all I could do was laugh because I couldn't believe what was happening. Afterwards, though, I thought of how I would have been manipulated into spending 100s of dollars when I was younger and politer, and was really disgusted by the whole experience. This company has obviously decided to focus on training their staff to be super pushy, rather than focussing on making products that sell themselves through their high quality.

Touchy salesman.... average product.
Was literally hounded into buying two of their products by a pushy and very touchy salesman...... very sleezy. He stated the cream was amazing blah blah blah. I literally bought It to get away from this creepy man who wouldn’t leave me alone. Tried the deep wrinkle cream and eye cream. Pump for one bottle stopped working after a few days and can’t say that either cream is anything special. Not worth the $200 I paid.

EXTREMELY PUSHY SALES TACTICS
Origani seriously need to retrain their sales people, one of the sales people on 27/09/2019 at the Chadstone kiosk started off with a very pushy sales pitch and then began to apply the product onto my face without even asking! I was extremely taken aback and very concerned that I would have a reaction as my skin is very sensitive. Luckily this did not happen which means the product is probably organic as they say but I'm guessing not very effective either. However the effectiveness of the product is not the issue, the issue is your sales reps need to have a serious lesson in personal boundaries, I thought it was common sense to not touch other people's faces without asking first but evidently not.
