Swollen knee and leg
After trying all the usual methods of relief, elevation, ice, heat, compression none works, I tried the dreaded NSAIDs for a week, no relief I was in agony.
I'd ordered Osmo patches on the net a week earlier, I'd suffered with my knee and the various different pains involved all parts of my leg, for about three weeks, doctors were no help at all. It was awful I had never had such bother before.
The first night I used the patch as it recommended to the letter, I found it soaked in the morning, I felt less pain but using them every night for ...Read more
about two weeks and every morning they were soaked I was progressing, less pain each day less fluid, it was slow but sure and once the patches were dry not soaked I stopped using them. I still have a little pain but nothing like I had. I found two puncher wounds on the inside of my leg and realised after the second night of using the patches, that a spider had bit me there and was most like the reason for all my pain no swelling. My immune system went down, I had four chest infections in a year. I went to a naturopath who gave me immune booster which worked I stopped getting chest infections and all the symptoms which I had never experienced before the bite went. It was two years before I was back to normal from the bite to the cure. If I hadn't got Osmo patches and found relief from the pain no sweating I don't know how I'd have coped!

Sadly A Let Down
Apart from the fact the powder kept pooling into the corner of the patch, sadly they gave little or no relief. I used a box on my left shoulder and found them to be a big let down for the cost.

A Bit Disappointed
I have a tear and arthritis in my upper arm and shoulder, I do believe these patches could probably help, the problem I find is that the powder pools down to the corner of the patch, so I am not getting an even spread over the area. I don't feel I would recommend these. I will continue to use them as I have 20 of them.

Why didn't I know about this product?
I've had shoulder surgery and 5 CT cortisone injections. Tubes of cream, patches etc to no avail. These patches are amazing. They actually work. No pain for at least 8 hours first time use. Highly recommend this product and I am extremely particular and fussy. I have an amazing pharmacist.

Shoulder bursitis
I developed shoulder bursitis about 3 months ago & had gone thru physiotheraphy and shoulder exercises with marginal relief. I have read about osmo patch and decided to give it a try. After using 20+ patches, my shoulder has improved quite a lot and much of the pain & soreness has gone. One important thing to keep in mind is consistency in using the patches and correct application. I use extra adhesive tape to keep the patch firmly in contact with the skin.

Relief for Bilateral trochanteric Bursitis
Had Bilateral Trochanteric Bursitis on and off for more than 10 years. Had numerous U/S guided cortisone injections with limited success. Long hours working on my feet with few breaks didn't help. Using stairs made matters worse. A nurse I was working with suggested Osmo Patches so I tried them. After using them for 2 consecutive nights I had substantial relief from the pain. I occasionally need to use one for maintenance relief. Certainly better than taking pain killers.

Some people do say that the patches have a unique smell wish does not bother most people. While the OSMO patch works well for many people, as with any treatment there will always be some people that our patches regretfully won’t help. There could be a few reasons for this, such as; not adequately resting the injury and continuing to induce repeated stress, the patches could have been incorrectly applied or the injury has become very chronic resulting in some scar tissue forming over the area that’s obstructing the drainage process or continuing to cause flare-ups. Whatever the reason we do appreciate that such a situation is very upsetting and thus this is why we have put together our No Questions asked Guarantee. Disappointed
Tried 2 boxes of patches on my bursitis on the ball of the left foot, unfortunately it did absolutely nothing. In fact I think I now have the pain almost constantly. And yes I have a healthy diet and exercise daily, no running but yoga, pilates, body balance etc.
Shame I was hoping for some slight relief.

Decent pain relief from baker's cyst
I have had a baker's cyst that has made walking painful for a long time. I was recommended to use these patches. I feel that they have had a good impact and made walking easier, although I still have some pain. Thank you Osmo Patch!

The jury is still out.....but
I have had bursitis in both of my shoulders since August.I have had 2 lots of cortisone with one last Tuesday 20th January.I bumped into. Woman in a shopping centre and got talking of my problems. She put me straight onto Osmo patches. The first night a heap of sticky brown gunk appeared on the patches and leaked through to my T shirt.I put it down to perspiration but the second night I used them nothing happened. So I tried them for the third night and one in particular oozed the sticky gunk.
At the moment my pain has diminished but it could still be the cortisone or some sort of help? This Woman swears by them.

Great result for 16 year old with bakers cyst
My daughter developed a bakers cyst from basketball. I have a natropath friend who recomended osmopatch in conjunction with acupuncture. She began improving after the second patch and after third patch, we also had an acupuncture treatment. The following day, my daughter virtually felt 100 %. We used all the patches anyway and then she resumed running. So far, no repeat occurance and she couldnt be happier. My suggestion is to try both the patches and acupuncture in unison.

osmo rash
I have been suffering with hip bursitis ( trochanteric) have had one injection of cortisone a few weeks ago, didn't help. So I researched other options and found the osmos patches. They obviously have very strong ingredients, after the first night, it left a red patch, being desperate to relieve my bursitis pain, I continued with them, but after the third patch, it was impossible to continue, I had developed a nasty rash. I told the supplier and they immediately refunded my money, but even after nearly a week of no patches the rash is still as itchy and nasty as ever. Not saying don't try them, just saying be very aware of any reaction, don't use them if after the first patch there are signs of redness.

I now have my legs back!
I have fibromyalgia and am severely affected by the disease. One week ago, my knees became so swollen that I was unable to take more than a few steps. I tried many things but nothing worked, until I tried the osmo patch. Thank you for giving me back my quality of life. I am off now to go for a small walk along the beach with my husband as I have not left the house for eight days!

Not a treatment as the testimonials would suggest
I paid (including postage as they were not available on the Northern Beaches) $80 for 20. That is $4 a patch. Using two on each knee for a week is expensive at $56 a week. I have moderate Baker's cyst (which it is claimed they specifically designed for) and am slim and active. All the testimonials rave about them but I was very, very disappointed. They made no difference whatsoever. I have yet to come across any adverse reviews which makes me somewhat sceptical of the testimonials. They should not be marketed as a 'treatment' unless they work.
Packaged well and instruction booklet clear
Smell, wasn't a 'treatment', expensive if no result

Hello Selina,
Firstly I so sorry to hear that our patches where not able to help you and we understand your disappointment. ... Read more
As mentioned on our website, the OSMO Patch should not be considered as a cure for any condition, including bursitis or a baker's. Instead, the OSMO Patch when used in combination with adequate rest provides effective support to reduce inflammation, swelling and the associated pain due to bursitis, baker’s cysts, as well as many other similar joint and muscular inflammatory conditions. While we continue to constantly receive unsolicited feedback and testimonials from so many people that the patches have helped, as with any treatment there will always be some people that our patches regretfully won’t help. There could be several reasons for this, such as; not adequately resting the injury and continuing to induce repeated stress, the patches could have been incorrectly applied, the injury has become chronic resulting in scar tissue forming over the area causing continued flare-ups and there may also be an underlying cause that continues to set off the condition, such as inflammatory disease (arthritis for example). Regardless of the reason we do appreciate that such a situation is very upsetting and thus this is why we have put together our 'No Questions Asked Money Back Guarantee'. So please feel free to contact me at [email protected] with your purchase details and I will be more then happy to process your refund as per our 'No Questions Asked Money Back Guarantee'. d even rang OSMO Patch who told me to try placing them to one side of the site of swelling. There is no scar tissue and no inflammatory disease. They were promoted as ideal for Baker's cysts and as a treatment. A treatment implies a cure or at very least a benefit. Unfortunately for me they were neither.Toky J.Osmo Patch

Hi Beatrice,
Thank you for your enquiry.
It sounds like you may have a dislocation.
Unfortunately the OSMO Patch would not be able to repair a dislocation or any other bone disorder. It may however help reduces any swelling or associated pain.
In either case we recommend that you first visit your doctor to get a correct diagnosis before attempting any treatment.
Wishing you and your family good health.
Kind Regards

Toky J.Osmo Patch
Hello Sally,
Thank you for your inquiry.
The patches are classified as a class 1 medical device. Being a class 1 medical device means that there are no drugs or prohibited substances. It is actually the same classification as a band aid, and bandage as they do not work via releasing active ingredients into the skin hence why there is no requirement for ingredient/composition labeling other than labeling any possible allergens. This is different to a cream or a patch that releases active ingredients into the skin as you can understand.
What we can assure you is that the patches are made to very strict GMP medical standards. There are absolutely no drugs or hormones within our patches. They do not work by releasing active ingredients into the body but instead work by drawing fluid out of the body.
As stated on our website, at this time as we hope you can understand the composition of the OSMO Patch remains our proprietary knowledge. There is however a crustacean by-product within the composition, so if you are allergic to shellfish or seafood then the patches should not be used. Also there is an adhesive which is used to hold the patches in place and again if you are allergic to adhesives you may consider using a bandage as an alternative to hold the patch in place.
I hope this information has been helpful and we hope that they will offer you some relief.
Wishing you and your family good health.
Kind Regards
Jordan

the one patch and we found a chemist in Mossman who stocks them. Again the relief was wonderful! Gave a patch to a friend's husband to use on his knee as he had had an injury and it worked for him as well. The secret is that you have to put them in the correct place, overnight so they maintain good skin contact. If you are sensitive to the bandage use something else that doesn't irritate, maybe even ordinary sticky tape, or for joints that you can wrap a bandage around, use one of those bandages that sticks to itself.
