Perma Child Safety Gate

The bottom of the gate fixes securely however the top does not. As per many other reviews here, our gate just falls out of place with slight pressure. I guessing it is due to the streamline drsign at the bottom, I cant believe Bunnings sell them.

Purchased 2 wall pressure mount baby gates from bunnings. The bottom was tight but the top was extremely loose and my 1yr old boy pulled it over first try. If you try to make it tighter the door will no longer lock because its overtightened. Faulty product. I set this up for our stairs, imagine if i kept this and my boy pushed it over and fell down the stairs. Cant believe bunnings sell these and havent been sued yet.

This gate is very difficult to lift up and latch and lift up to unlatch I am relatively strong however am unable to lift it up to latch it closed with one hand and need two hands spread out over the width of the gate. There is so much resistance when attempting to lift the gate to shut it. Impossible to do with a baby in one arm.

Otherwise the gate it tidy and sleek looking however it is not user friendly with a child and it is incorrectly advertised as a one handed lock.

We purchased these gates for the lounge room entrance and to block off the stairs.

They didn’t come in the correct measurements so had to get the extensions, which is fine.

My daughter stands up at one and pulls on it and it seems a little flimsy but so far so good!

I like the 2 way swing on the main one and then the the other is a one way swing door.

They do the job and not overly expensive

got 3 of the "pressure mounted" Ultimate safety gates from Bunnings.. as the other reviews have said they attach great at the bottom but need to be loose at the top or the gate wont open or close. Making them flimsy. 1 day after installation my 1yr old already pulled one down on herself..
i got a hardware mounted Superior safety gate for the hallway as the Ultimate do not extend past normal door frame size without extensions. Got it home and found it had been re packaged with pieces missing. back to the store i go.

Bought this to section off our study room for our dog suffering from separation anxiety. No more scratched door frames and broken flyscreens now that he has his own little den (as he doesnt like to be crated at all). Gate works fine. When we are home we can open it up and it stays open which lets our dog go in and out as he pleases.
Don't have children yet so I have no opinion on that like the other reviewers.

Piece of junk doesnt even open and close without falling apart (if too tight) or slipping off wall (if too loose) there is no ok tension do that it works

Works great as a singular set for a pen, but we thought the play area was to small so we bought another and joined them together to make one big rectangle play pen. Everything fits together easy enough but you cannot lock the hinges on each panel. Meaning if your Little one is standing up in the pen and supporting their weight in the centre or the rectangle they can push out the panel changing the shape of the pen. You should be able to shape then pen however you like if joining more panels and not be stuck in having a big circle. Easy fix by having lockable hinges.
