Good product
Philips Avent is easy and comfortable to use. It needs to be sterilised each time before use just like any other pump but they are few little parts which sometimes are hard to assemble back
The speed is ok and have to use ~20 mins each time.
Cannot compare to the hospital grade ones but happy with the product for the price paid.
There is small flower shaped attachment on top of the pump which comes loose after each wash and without it being properly fitted back on the pump it doesn’t work properly and placing it back isn’t easy which I think was a drawback

Serviceable
Has been a decent pump to use for months straight several times a day but not as good obviously as the ones in the hospital. I would have preferred to go with another brand but it has still worked fine, just annoying having to hold it as suction on the breast was not amazing and clean all the parts after each session

Wife's review
Wife uses it at least four times a day since 6 months ago, quite comfortable and painless, easy to set up and use. Parts can be removed for easy cleaning. Good build quality.
Would definitely recommend however please check if the bottles are suitable with your baby. Ours prefers another branded bottle but the pump itself is excellent.

Was ok at first, but decided to go manual pump instead
When my partner gave birth, we were looking at options for breast pumps for our baby, we were recommended this particular one because it does it for you saving you time and doing other things at the same time. After a few weeks of use, she wasn't producing much milk so she decided to go with a manual pump which has worked much better ever since.

Trusted and very efficient
I used a manual pump with my first baby and decided to go for an electric to save time as I also had a toddler on my hands. The pump is ease to use and even easier because I am used to the manual pump. I try to use it twice a day and store milk for later in when I am away from my baby so that my mother can feed the baby. I have not experienced any trouble with batteries. I use rechargeable batteries and charge them after every second or third use.

Ok for occasional use
Got this with the thought of using occasionally for convenience. However, after bub was born I was put on a feeding plan due to troubles with breastfeeding and ended up pumping EVERY 3 hours 24 hours a day.
With serious regular use it doesn't hold up. It is fiddly to clean and not the most comfortable to use.
Now I only use occasionally it is ok but not my best purchase.

d held bit and the broke the whole hand held part down to wash and dry. It's uncomfortable to use as the tube that connects the motor to the pump is flimsy and if you don't have it at the right angle it starts coming off over time. Not the best when you could be pumping in semi darkness and sleep deprived in the wee hours.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Electric the best battery no good
This is the best pump illf we use it with electricity
But when we try to use it with batteries for the first time it worked properly from then onwards even the new batteries are just working for 5 minutes or so
Not working at all which is not worth buying it for me especially as i bought to use it for travel purposes
Disregarding this pump is easy to use easy to clean
Easy to pump too
Loved it

Perfect and increased my milk supply
I bought this because I used to have a manual Phillips Avent a few years ago with my first child. I wanted to have something better and more efficient, something that works fast and great. It definitely delivers great results and I am very happy with everything that I got in the box. IT is fast, I can rely on it and I always have a supply of milk in the fridge and freezer. The suction power is great and works amazing. I even think that I got more milk supply since using this pump.

Great functionality & great price
Preparing for the arrival of your baby can be daunting on its own... let alone standing in front of a wall of breast pumps!!
After some googling and serious thought about why I was buying a pump (I had every intention of exclusively breastfeeding but wanted a pump as back up if I needed to boost my supply or for any reason bub could not feed)
I had a list (albiet a short list) of whatmy requirements were...
- definitely not manual (ain't no new mama got time for that!!)
- electric without overkill (therefore single... no need to feel any more like a dairy cow by pumping both boobs at once)
- reasonable price
With all this in mind it came down to the Avent.

Just doesn’t lose suction
I bought this when I had my last baby as I was going to school and needed to pump. It was awesome! Got heaps of milk without being too loud and even with excessive use it never lost its suction. I love this product and would use again should I have another baby

Essential for breastfeeding mums
Childbirth education classes should cover breast pumps and how essential they are for new mums!
With terribly chaffed and cut nipples, I would cry at each time I’d feed and he’d attach. Resting the nipple for just 24hrs and pumping during that period is the only reason I now actually enjoy breastfeeding. Easy to use, compact, and simple to clean. Would recommend

Good pump
This is a good pump for its price. It's easy to use & keep clean. It would take me about 15 minutes to empty one breast. Less if there wasn't much milk. I didn't have any troubles with it. It's good at what it does. I would use it again in the future.

Easy to use & clean
I bought this pump for use with my second child - it was so easy to use, clean. Perfect for doing things one handed with too and was better than sitting there with a hand pump!
It also stays in tip-top condition, so when I sold it after a year, I pretty much got all my money back (from the new price)!

Perfect, user friendly and quiet.
Very comfortable to use, quiet especially handy in the night. Very easy to clean, and maintain. I am planning to use this again in the coming year. I have also used other machines in hospitals but found the avent portable, easy to use and quiet. You can also attach larger bottles which is very handy.

Helped me alot
It is comfortable however thst depends from person to person.
It has different options of power so its good if you have a high pain tolerance or a low one.
It has soft rubber pad which is comfortable.
Long wire so i can place the machine anywhere and use the pump
It is quite noisy so i have to do it in a separate room and i cant do it early morning in my own room afraid of waking my husband or baby.

Very good
All baby products wich I have only Avent brand. I am a huge fan of Avent products as they are always reliable and trustworthy and this is important to me when choosing products. The Avent breast pump is easy to use, instead of having difficulty with other products.
I don't like manual, for it was not comfortable, but this one is perfect.
Always use it if I need to express milk
Good quality

Easy to use and comfortable
I found this product comfortable and only needed to pump for 10 minutes as I had an over supply of milk and mainly used the pump for storing milk for returning to work. I find it very easy to clean and it is compatible with the avent microwave steriliser. I will continue to use this product as long as I breastfeed and will recommend this brand to friends and family

Works OK not the best out there
Pump is relatively easy to use, but the breast cup that came with the pump doesn't make suction easy. So we used a cover that we were given from the hospital.
Pump is very noisey and makes a sound that can be difficult for nursing mothers to deal with. Breast pump is good quality and does the job.

Works good and does the job!
I'm not a fan of breastpumps but i need it occasionally. This pump has been very good, I get milk out and it's fairly quiet and has 3 strenghts. I haven't tried any cheaper ones so can't compare with anything but as a first time breast pumper I would recommend it. Makes my nipples a bit sore though but it can be my personal issue too. :)

Katyasked
So... I got one second hand, ( i know its probably not recommended) Anyway, worked like a dream... wasnt too noisy and great milk output, and it just suddenly lost suction from the machine part whilst trying to express for approximately 10 seconds, then started again. Happened once to begin with. The next time it happened twice and then the 3rd time it stopped and just never started up again. You could hear it wasn't sucking at all. As I don't physically breastfeed due to latching issues I rely on the pumps and as shops close at 5.30pm, and that was the time I was expressing, I couldn't just pop to the shops and get another one, so resulted in getting yet another second hand one, which was SUPER noisy. So the early morning expression I had to leave the room to avoid waking up the baby and husband. At that point I decided I was getting new one and have the other as back up... So I got a new one. Was fine to begin with, pumping fine (still does), noise was fine.... but now after a couple of months it's starting to get noisy. I can still be in the same room as sleeping baby at this stage, just fear its going to get louder. Also with the return to work coming soon. I'm having a bit of anxiety about the noise so the questions are... 1. that first pump, is that how the die? 2. Why do they suddenly get noisy? Wear and tear? everything is plugging in correctly. As I am writing this I just pumped 500ml (1st expression of the day, but woo go me! - definitely no pumpjng issue)
