Alright for the Price

published

This fryer does the job for me at 1st the cooking results were not good but after get use to it, I like it, it cooks chip, wedge, crumbed fish & chicken, not hot oil to deal with. open up add your chips set temperature turn dial for time and get on with something else in the kitchen. There maybe a draw back for a larger family, the basket is not very big, great for hubby & me. Hubby uses it all the time as it sits on our bench. Easy to clean . A little noisy you know its on. I got it on special from Big W.

Basic model that does a very good job...

published

Great general purpose air fryer once you understand how it works. Instruction sheet provided only the most basic information & had to download instruction manual from website. I can make good, yet healthy, fried food using only the most minimal amount oil. This is a basic model with manual rather than digital time/temperature controls but a good nonetheless. Very easy to keep clean.

Good for.... chips?

published

I purchased this on a whim as I saw it advertised and thought it would be great.

But the word “healthy” is a little off as you are cooking frozen food which is chemically processed in a machine that is safe to cook food or no? As with microwaved items there can be a safety worry but the plastics inside being heated to high temps I’m not 100% confident it’s safe.

I have friends who love it but at the end of the day your oven can cook a chicken. It can cook potatoes.

Awesome Product!

We use this for the majority of our cooking now. Its fast, easy to use and a brease to clean. Helps you eat better and healthier, by removing oils and butter from your cooking.

Would be nice if the tray was a little nicer as cooking family sized meals takes two runs - however this is only a little downside to the product.

Healthy junk food?

published

Healthy junk food? Hmm, I'm not sure about that but it's got to be better than deep fried take-away. I love junk food. This isn't the same but it's a grown up substitute. It's easy to use and easy to clean. It saves me money and I know exactly what I'm eating, how fresh it is and how it was prepared.

Really good, for a single or couple .

published

If you have a family of 5 it is probably not practical. But for a single or couple it is great! It will cook most things and crisp them up lovely . Best things are chips, chicken wings, pies, even pizza. It is a bit small but you can cook enough for one or two. It is very fast and cooks evenly. you do need to turn things for best results . Great for party food, frozen spring rolls, sausage rolls etc . Hardly use the oven now, just use this and the BBQ really . I actually purchased another so i can cook more things at the same time . Highly recommend.

I love my air fryer. it can fulfill all my daily cooking requirements. It saved oil while cooking and it very effective. The only downside is it really only cooks enough for 2 people, however I believe you can buy bigger ones for families. Will definitely suggest to other consumers and will be a purchase without regret

These things are awesome, easy to use and make the best fried food in half the time of an oven. It’s great to make sides for dinner or quick snacks and is easy to clean. Makes the best roast veggies and you can even get an attachment to bake with it.

Sometimes I have very little time, so this device is a lifesaver in terms of time. Food cooked in it tastes great and tastes more or less same as the one which is fried so it helps in watching my diet as well. I am really happy with it. It does more than what I expected it to do.
Great value for money. Easy to use and clean as well.

Literally a life saver

published

Between school and work I sometimes have very little time, so this device is a lifesaver in terms of time. Cooks food perfectly well. Potato is great, Pizza is great, frozen's are great. There is no food I have put into this fryer that hasn't come out well. The ultimate device that I promise will not go to the back of your pantry never to be used.

Fried, but healthy....no way!

published

My toddler who has allergies has unfortunately been living a life of plain and boring foods...but with the air fryer, it gives a whole new meaning to delicious hot chips...WITHOUT THE FRIED FAT!! So now mummy feels guilt free making homemade chips for lunch and dinners be cause I know exactly what's used and I know they are crispy and tasty!

Only downfall, I would love a larger air fryer basket, and cleaning it is a bit of a task, but overall....awesome, and it doesn't break the bank!!

Now that we've had this air fryer for a few months I can't imagine what my life was like before it!

Cooks vegetables to perfection! Makes the best sweet potato fries too!

It's really great value for money and is very easy to use and clean. I hardly ever cook with my oven anymore as this is just so much more convenient and healthier!

Robust and easy to use airfryer

published

I'm satisfied with this product. It has a very easy to clean wire mesh and does its job efficiently. Some food even tastes better than oven bake (ie. nuggets and calamari). Easy to store and have a retractable power cable. Will definitely suggest to other consumers and will be a purchase without regret. Would be better if the price drops further or buy when has a discount.

Finally got my Airfryer with a good price.

published

Have been looking at Airfryer for years while the price has been so high. Last year during Christmas, I bought this Airfryer at a very low price. Although it's the oldest model, it can still fulfill all my daily cooking requirements. It saved oil while cooking and it very effective. The only shortfall is while it's working, it makes noises. It might also be a little bit small if there are more than 2 people in your home.

Better than my oven!

published

I love my air fryer. However my poor oven is feeling neglected as it hardly gets used any more! Almost anything you can cook in the oven, you can cook in the air fryer. Do yourself a favour and buy some accessories, I got a little oven pan which I cook cakes and pasta bake, lasagne etc in. It cooks in roughly 1/3 the time an oven would. The only downside is it really only cooks enough for 2 people, however I believe you can buy bigger ones for families. I put foil in the bottom of mine which makes clean-up so much easier

Great, but hard to clean

published

Yes, the air fryer produces amazing crispy food. I've cooked plenty of things in it and the end result is not quite the equivalent of a deep fried product, but good enough that I am willing to use it again. A few things I don't like is that it's small. Not only that, it is very difficult to clean. I made pork crackling once, and I do not think I have managed to clean much of the oil spit on the fan since.

Not sure, if you find out please let me know. I am not overly keen on the meshy basket that is in the air fryer, it makes it very hard to get the stuck on crumbs etc, out of it.
