Disappointing from a previously reliable shaver company
I bought this shaver in March 2017 for $199 at a shaver shop in Melbourne, having owned 3 previous models of Philips shavers and been happy with them. Importantly for me, apart from shaving short regrowth there also has to be a beard trimmer for my beard. Previous models of Philips did a reasonable job. This one has a new design of clip-on trimmer that stopped working after a year. Philips replaced the trimmer (after a 2 week wait) but the replacement also failed after a year (almost to the day!). the unit and no way to remove them except by taking it apart with a screwdriver) and reported that to Philips, with no interest on their part. The replacement has now also failed despite my engineering efforts. Won't be buying a Philips again.
Purchased in March 2021 at Shaver Shop Physical store for A$199.00.
