They take some punishment & just keep on going
I put these tyres on my AUII Falcon (215/60r16) about a year & a half ago & have had no problems at all. I replaced a set of Starfire RSC 2.0 tyres (made by the Chinese subsidiary of Cooper) which, although had full tread, quite responsive & were put on right before I bought the car, I could only put up with them for about three months before deciding they had to go after realising they just did not hold on in any sort of mildly wet weather. I decided to dabble more in the top shelf tyre variety as I don't often do that & thought the Pirelli P1...Read more
looked good & meant the business. In that time they have copped some harsh driving conditions, driving behaviour & a heavy dose of wet weather & they performed beautifully in all categories. I also noticed they are quite a bit quieter than the Starfire tyres were. In all, I find them to be tough, durable, sticky in wet or dry, quiet, comfortable & so far long wearing. I've travelled approximately 20,000km with them & there still isn't any real tread wear. Very impressed. tough, durable, sticky in wet or dry, quiet, comfortable & long wearing. None.Similar opinion? Seem To Be living up too there name!
only had these for 2 weeks, had 2 rainy days in that time frame, i did have bridgestone turanza's on the rear of my wagon wich were worn.. couldn't decide what tyres to get. after reading some reviews on ieatwords, com.au i whent with 2 of the perelli p1 205/65 r15 tyres.. seem to be doing ok in both wet and dry, thay do tend to slip on white lines/painted suface's, and are abit bumpy ( probably because thay are new tho )
cheap price, tread pattern. somewhat grip
noisey and bumpy

Surprisingly good tyres
Handles well and responsive steering, feels just right not too firm and certainly not soft and squishy. Good grip in wet and dry. Similar price to other brands in that range (15") so can recommend. Reasonable treadwear rating so expect them to last a while and good looking tread pattern as well.

Back to Pirelli
Used Pirelli P3 tires in the past on SAABs and found them fantastic in the wet and dry conditions. Recently bought a New Ford G6E that had mismatched tires that were a standard Ford issue. 2 Dunlop Super Max on the front and 2 Good Years on the back. Terrible mix. After having the car for 15 months, decided to change all 4 tires to Pirelli Cintuarato P1. Been driving on them for 3 weeks now, what a difference... so quiet and responsive. Not concerned that they are a soft tire and may require earlier replacement.
Soft smooth and responsive tires both in the wet and the heat.
Nothing yet. Not expecting any problems.

Stop looking at others
Great all round tyre, would not consider another for replacement. Had all other brands and types, not any more.
This tyre would have to be the best wet weather tyre I have ever used in a passenger tyre, no aqua planing no matter the depth if puddles I've hit.
Dry driving is really quiet, no squealing, superior grip.
Excellent wet weather tyres, very quiet. Great handling tyres, they just stick like glue. No aqua planing experienced ever.

Pirelli Cinturato P1 245-45-17 : Mazda MZR-CD Diesel Sports Hatch 2010
Late January 2014 these tyres replaced a set of Pirelli PZ Zero Asymmetrical which lasted < 20,000klms which were noisy, loads of grip in dry and wet, no sidewall squirm when braking or changing direction. A safe confidence inspiring tyre.
The Cinturato P1 is the quietest tyre we have ever used in the Mazda, great comfort on poor road surfaces but does not suit a car with firm suspension due its soft side walls which cause the car to understeer to the point of feeling unsafe when braking while cornering or taking corners at any speed that is...Read more

Recommended, good tyres without breaking the bank.
Good value for a 16 inch tyres, quiet and grips well in dry and wet. Have run them for 5000kms. Its meant to save you fuel, but havent seen real difference after 5000kms. Fuel use is tracked using iphone gas manager app, so its pretty accurate. Not the softest tyres, but that is part of eco tyres.
Its an eco tyre, and a pireli

Great all rounder
I had these tyres fitted to my Citroen C4 a month ago and have so far been impressed.
They are exceptionally quiet even on rough roads at 100 km/h and offer a decent amount of comfort to the ride. Grip in both the wet and the dry is better than average. I have also noticed that they are not at all squeamish and make no noise under emergency braking. They do not resort to tyre scrubbing on a tight winding road and provide a sense of confidence. Grip and braking performance on unsealed roads is also exceptional.
As for wear, it is too soon ...Read more
to say as I have only had the tyres fitted for 5,000km of mostly country/highway driving, however they do not seem to have worn much, if at all in that time. I have also noticed a slight improvement in fuel economy compared to my previous tyres. Exceptionally quiet and very decent levels of grip on all surfaces and in wet and dry conditions A little bit pricey in comparison to the competition, but not excessively soSimilar opinion? Hi is the tyre make any noise on freeway?
2 answers
I didn't notice any extra noise from these tyres when compared to others on my 2013 Toyota Corolla 4 door sedan, but then again I always drive with my windows closed and the AC on.
These tyres give a very comfortable ride and grip the road well in wet and dry conditions as well as lots of KM and I will buy these tyres again.
Hello Swaran, no the Pirelli tyre is surprisingly quite on the freeway when I purchased mine I thought they would be quite driving around my local area but after having the tyres on for 4 or 5 days I drove on the freeway for about 1 hour 30 mins and i was totally surprised with the lack of noise and the handling of my car with the new Pirelli tyres. I Hope this helps you Swaran.
