Not fit for my purpose
This might be a bit harsh, but I haven't been very happy with my Pullman Janitor. The filter is big bucket shaped and straight walled (not pleated) I don't know if this is why, but ever since I first bought it, the filter would clog very quickly, causing the motor to go into bypass mode. I have used the vac for sawdust, general dust and cement dust. I don't know, maybe I am doing something wrong?

The first one was a sacrificial lamb
Bought the first Pullman in 2010 - exactly the same - as a sacrificial vacuum cleaner for getting rid of cement dust. Industrial quantities of cement dust from demolished slate floors. urpose. Pity about the disposable, un-recyclable bits. So I bought a new one - it was $20 cheaper than the old one. Again the same thing - great suction power for hard edged jobs. The down side? The build is Chinese cheapo - utterly awful. All bristly plastic and cranky seams. Hose fittings and castors that are so shonky they don't even pretend to be anything but quality junk. It will do me for another seven years and much as I hate the throw-away nature of this consummately clunky, shamelessly shoddy product, it works.
