Can you angle the basinet like the icandy does?
2 answers
RedsbabyRedsbaby
Hi Dina, no, our bassinet is stationary. At around 6 months, the child generally moves to the seat, which reclines to a flat position but the base isn't flat like the bassinet, their legs are supported by the adjustable footrest. Hope that helps! Sarah - RB Team xx
Hi Dina, the bassinet doesn't change angle. It stays flat.
Cassasked
When considering the jive for its ability to upgrade to two children down the track, I wonder: at what point do children usually grow out of this pram? At what ages are your children sitting comfortably, and how much time would you actually get out of the dual feature before kidlets become too big? (Weight and height?) my scenario does not involve twins ect.

RedsbabyRedsbaby
Hi Cass, kids are generally (allowing for extreme height fluctuations), comfortable in the JIVE until they are around three to four years old. The front seat of the Tandem accommodates a child up to 20kg and the back accommodates a child of up to 15kg. A child generally starts to develop the ability to sit up (or at least partially sit up - which is when you want to move them out of a bassinet) at around six months old. We also have a Buggyboard. If your older child get to the stage that they'd like to run around more, you can convert back into a single and add the Buggybpard so they can stand on the platform when they're tried (or you need to get somewhere in a hurry!

I wonder where can i try the pram before buying it?? I can't find it at any store.. Does anyone has any clue please? :(

They have demo days in capital cities. If you look at their website the upcoming demos should be listed :-)

Hi Kokokimo, our prams are sold online only but they can be viewed at our Demo Days (see website for dates) and also at a most major baby shows around the country. Sarah - RB Team xx
Arcadia84asked
The Jive and Metro seem to have very similar frames, with the main difference being basket size vs adaptability for two children. Is it possible to get a larger basket for the Jive when it is not in two child mode?
2 answers
RedsbabyRedsbaby
Hi Arcadia, because of the difference in the frames, the METRO basket doesn't fit to the JIVE. YOu are right about the primary differences, although they also fold differently. You can view this on our 'Videos' page on the 'Daily Use' videos. They are both lightweight and compact. Sarah - RB Team xx
I also want to know if anyone has found a hack to make the basket in the jive better. I saw them today at a demo, and everything about the jive was perfect, except the crappy basket. I understand they fold differently, but surely they could manufacture a seperate basket accessory for when it's not in tandem mode, that has soft collapsible sides to make the basket more of a basket- and less of a platform with drawstring bag. My worry is that things will slip out of the bag, or hang over and drag on the ground. It just didn't look secure/ useable. solid 'sides' would have been enough to make me buy it, and for it to be the PERFECT pram.

I'm wondering how the pram feels for taller people? They don't have demos near me so I can't test drive and my 6ft husband is concerned that He will be stubbing his feet and hunching to push. Would love some feedback on the height
4 answers
Im not tall myself but the handle bars do click into different positions, for example it can be flat or elevated at about a 45degree angle. Do they have a demo coming to your state?
Hi there
Being short myself I have no issues. Though I have had my father and a couple of friends at times push my pram. They are tall and they have adjusted the handlebar to suit them, which is done very easily. They have also commented that it is easy to steer.
Hope that helps
Hi there, I have the Jive and I'm 6ft and my husband is 6ft 3". The handle on our Jive is comfortable height for us both, we were careful to test it and found it was slightly higher than the competitors (Joolz and Stokke). The best news for you in that I found at the recent demo they have made new improvements to the current Jive model including a telescopic handle with a slightly longer length (higher rise) than my previous model. Feel confident that it will be perfect height for your husband! My husband did find he had to slightly shorten his normal gait to not kick the bottom bar of the pram's frame with his foot, but found he soon got used to it. He can't speak more highly of the Jive, we love it.

Hi I was just wondering if the Redsbaby Jive lays down flat? I have a belly sleeper but am looking for a new pram.
2 answers
The bassinet lays flat as expected while the stroller seat when reclined to the bottom level is almost flat but is still in a slightly seated position.
RedsbabyRedsbaby
Hi Fredy,
Yes, our Redsbaby JIVE seat does recline to the flat position for sleeping when your child is in the seat. For your newborn to approx 6 month old, we also have the bassinet which comes with the JIVE which offers the perfect flat sleeping environment for this age.
The best way to see how the JIVE works is by looking at the photographs and videos which are available on our website. Alternatively, you can contact our customer service team who are always there to assist with any questions you have (contact details available via our website, too).

Hi just wondering if anyone has had any issues at all with the front wheels? This is the only thing holding me back! I am getting rid of my current pram as it is very hard to steer sometimes and I have put it down to the front wheels being plastic.... but the Jive has the same.
Let me know your experiences!

I have had no issues at all with the front wheels and i find the pram super easy to steer, can actually do it one handed it is that light to steer
RedsbabyRedsbaby
Hi Mummy M,
Thanks for your question! We don't receive feedback from our customers that the front wheels are an issue, or cause any trouble with steering. The JIVE front wheels are EVA, while the rear wheels are air wheels which provide superior surface grip and performance. A lot of the steering comes from the rear wheels where you push the handle bar from. The front wheels can move easily and freely with their 360 degree swivel design, too.
I hope that helps with your question! If you live near or in a major city (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth), we do provide demonstration days which are a great way to learn about our products and try them out for yourself before you purchase. You can learn more about these and register via our website.

Yes, sometimes I have problems with the front wheels. Say if I push it over the smooth curbs, the pram gets stuck. The tyres are not big enough to go over. I have to lift the front to get over it.

Hi
Just wondering if anyone has the reds baby Jive in Mist?
If so does it get dirty easily?
How hard is it to clean?
Thanks
3 answers
Hi Ash, we've had Jive in Mist grey for a couple of months now. So far it doesn't seem to get dirty easily. Nothing a quick wipe won't get rid off anyway.
Thanks Enoch
Appreciate the info :)
If anyone else has other experiences then please let me know
Ash
RedsbabyRedsbaby
Hi Ash,
All Redsbaby prams and accessories have care labels sewn into each individual fabric item. You can follow these to help keep your pram in tip top condition, and should you need to clean it. We also recommend our seat liner which helps protect the seat while also being easy to remove and put in the wash, rather than cleaning the seat unit itself. The JIVE seat folds into itself which helps protect the seat fabrics whilst stored in your car.
I hope that helps with your question regarding the mist colour and if you have any more, please don't hesitate to let us know. You can contact our customer service team which is available via email, phone and Facebook (details on our website).

Natasked
Hi,
has anyone found that seat is a little low and baby height isn't ideal for being at a coffee / eating table? Thanks.
4 answers
Yes I think you are right there. It is too low for me too
I agree, I find the seat way too low
RedsbabyRedsbaby
Hi Nat,
The JIVE seat has been designed to allow for a 20kg weight limit and to allow the pram to fold compactly with the seat still attached (quite a unique feature to the JIVE). You can still push your child up to a table in the JIVE, and depending on the height of the table, they can eat at the table with you. However, we have found that most customers take their child out of the pram and place them in a high chair while eating to keep their pram as clean as possible. While the seat height is comparable to many modular prams on the market which are similar to the JIVE, we will take this feedback from powchy and Lisa on board, and look into whether there are any options to make the seat higher for customers that do like their child to sit very high in the pram while maintaining the 20kg weight limit.
I hope that helps and thanks for your question,

I love the look of the jive but am a little concerned about how low the storage compartment is to the ground. Has anyone found it catches on things or wears out?
4 answers
Hi, I agree it is low to the ground but I haven't found it to touch the ground or catch in everyday use. It obviously does as you go up steps or a gutter. I put quite a bit into my basket too and haven't noticed it touching the ground.
I always put heaps of things in the storage compartment and fill it up with groceries, and I have never experienced any problems with it!
Yes it is low. I always catch the curbs when I go over them even though I don't put too many things in there

Hi Guys
Just wondering if anyone has purchased a Capsule for their car, and if so which one? I don't know what is compatible with the Jive Pram?
Thanks in advance
Mia
2 answers
We purchased the Maxi Cosi AP which is compatible with the car adapters for the RedsBaby Jive... however to be honest we only took the capsule out of the car about 5 times. If I had my time again I wouldn't bother with it and would get a better car seat as the Maxi Cosi AP wasn't great (not easy to adjust, time consuming to put baby in and out, expensive, hot, bub grew out of it by 4 months). We now have a Infasecure Grandeur Treo which can be used 0-8 years, and rear facing to 30 months. Our bub is so much happier in this seat!
Awesome thanks for the advice :)

Did you all see the Jive before buying? I'm in a regional area and I'm a bit hesitant to buy online. Also, does it feel lightweight? I'm concerned that it will be too heavy. Thanks :)
3 answers
Hi Renee, I did see it before buying. I believe a lot of people don't though and I've heard they have great customer service if you have any problems. It's not the lightest pram on the market but I would call it lightweight for what it is. My wife who is a pretty small person can easily load it into the car etc. Although she wouldn't want to be carrying it up flights of stairs every day. Tom
