Order not ready for pickup even after they emailed me that it was ready for pickup and asked me to leave empty handed. took me an hour to get to their store. Providing false information. Bad customer service. Never going to buy anything from this store. Attach photo if the email as proof.

Very disappointing purchase. I ordered a bike back in October 2021 and as many reviews have stated there has been delays which is understandable due to covid. However - I received email confirmation on when the bikes would arrive and set in my diary those dates to be home for when they would be delivered... they never came... I would call up head office and spoke to a rep named [Name Removed] who has lied many times over and over on when it will be delivered. Time passed... still no delivery... called up again and was provided a new date so wai...

I called head office again and [Name Removed] answered to which he said, oh yes the bikes are here and will be delivered in 72 hours, to no surprise... nope it didn't arrive either! I feel like I have been quite reasonable and patient up to this point that then my case got escalated to their Customer Experience Manager, [Name Removed] honestly have saved the situation by being the first to have accountability of the situation and from there kept me the loop on where the REAL status of the bike were. I want to also be clear that I don't mind if the bikes were coming in middle of 2022. We did eventually get our bikes before Christmas and I want to thank [Name Removed] for saving the situation. Fast forward, we have put our bikes together in the New Year because if you order online you do need to assemble the bikes yourself. We have had issues with the breaks and alignments on our bikes which we have reached out to family who knows bikes quite well to have a look at for us as well and advised us that they need to go back to Reid to fix. My husband called the North Melbourne store to check if we could drop by to have them serviced and looked at in which they said yes come in and we completely understand if the bikes are not going to be serviced immediately. The following day, my husband rocks up to the store in North Melbourne only to be turned away and refusal to even help us with the bikes. My husband immediately called head office and spoke to [Name Removed] who once again lied and called himself [Name Removed] for some reason didn't really give any support or further help with the situation... so now we've requested a refund of $1,000+ worth of bikes. There is absolutely no point in paying for bikes we cannot even ride! Reid Cycle owners needs to honestly look into their processes and what their staff are actually doing and saying to customers. Extremely unprofessional and a horrible experience with this business. Buyers beware!- Product Quality

I ordered I bike on the 9th August as click and collect from the Stanmore store. On order an automated email informed me said it would be delivered in 7-10 days. I am still waiting - it is the 13th September and I have had no response. I have sent 3 emails, made multiple calls and no response. No call backs. I am profoundly disappointed about the lack of service. I need the bike by Friday 17th August. I even tried to submit a query online and the page would not let me submit. My order is WEB-43429. Has this company gone out of business because I can't find a way of contacting them

I ordered the bike online. When the bike arrived it had a punctured tyre. I emailed and called several times to get this resolved, and they finally sent me a new inner tube.
The pedal installation was performed by hand without force. After several rides I noticed the pedal was misaligned. When I took off the pedal, I then could not put it back on. Slow to reply. I have to call them. This will be my last Reid bike. Once lockdown is over I will be returning my bike to their store.

What a piece of garbage at a premium price -Poor to None Quality Control - Don't Buy
I ordered City 1.0 Commuter Bike from REID via their website on 22nd Aug 2021 trusting the information on their website about the assembly as it mentioned it is "85% assembled and require some basic final assembly like turning handlebars and inserting pedals". (Notice there is no information about adjustments and settings) The assembling was straightforward, but I started to notice the poor quality control straight ahead. The bike has scuff marks here and there, front fork mount bent, rear cassette has a wobble. Neither of these I was expecting...
Read more on a $460 bike. After assembling, I notice the gears are not shifting smoothly on the rear and not at all from 2-3 on the front. All gears were making a lot of noise. I spent a full day watching the videos on their website and it says contact a technician as gear adjustments are hard. After getting nowhere with the adjustments, I contacted customer care and sent video proof of the issue. They sent me another video from a different source and told me to follow that. So I did. I'm not a trained technician in any form, but RIDE made me pay a premium price for their poor quality controlled bike and 2 days of my time. Right now the bike is put aside as it is nowhere near good as a $160 Kmart bike's which I had no issues with whatsoever. They worked well right out of the box with minimal adjustments. Now I have to pay someone to get this fixed because REID workshops are closed in Sydney. Brought a mountain bike for my son which he picked out.
Got delivered about a week later all good.
After having assembled bikes for all 5 of my children n wife over the past 25 years n being mechanical minded Kmart n big w bikes never had a problem.
Unpacked bike with my 11 yr old's assistance turned out to be a 51/2 hour night mere.

Bike came damaged, replacement parts were sent and $30 refund offered (for wheel balancing) which is fair. However communication wise...emails regularly went unanswered for weeks, follow up emails also unanswered but suddenly answered I finally cc'd in [Name Removed] the owner. Apparently my previous emails went to spam folder...maybe, maybe not. Bad experience. This was my 3rd bike from Reid but the last one for sure.

Very poor quality materials, still trying to organize repair but cannot reach store on telephone. Bike is only 6 months old and has been used 3-4 times. Strangely in these COVID times, I have been told I am unable to ‘book’ a time for repair/ service and the store is only taking walk-ins. Not optimistic and daughter is deeply disappointed.

I ordered a Viper 24" bike for my daughter and I have received the bike late last week. A few days late which is understandable under current pandemic circumstances.
Upon my first inspection of the bike prior to assembly, the received bike does not come with a front derailleur which is not as described in the pictures of the bike on Reid cycles website:

I have ordered two bikes online and after a long delay got an email saying my model is not available and suggesting me to upgrade to a higher model. I agreed and paid for it. Again got emails for delays in transit and finally got a sms to collect my bikes. When I visited the store, one bike was not arrived. Again contacted the customer service but no use. Store Rep confirmed they never received my bike.It is a waste of time, and seeking a refund now. It almost took 50 days and didn't have a positive outcome. I should have listened to the previous feedbacks here and not used their service.

I ordered a vintage bike online. Apparently I ordered 2. I said I didn’t and when I went to check for my receipt I had not been emailed an invoice Or receipt for my order. I was thinking about buying a better bike from an actual store. But finally decided to just buy a cheap one from Reid for $370.
After a few rides, the front wheel was wobbly to the point where I couldn't ride it. So that cost me $30 from the bicycle service shop to repair. A few weeks later the bike was wobbling again, and the brakes felt faulty. So again I took it to the shop, and that cost another $100. Bough MTB Pro last month and these guys have sent me a wrong cheaper bike. When called I got threatened by service manager not to look at my issue for few days as they are very busy. I had to convince this guy that it's their issue and they need to at least acknowledge and arrange return shipping.
