Excellent Service
I just purchased a mitsubishi fridge mr-e62s from the Brighton Retravision store. The Fridge is fantastic and exceeds my expectations, but that has nothing to do with Retravision. Where the store excelled was on Price and Service.They were able to price match and deliver the fridge on time. Could not have asked for or gotten a better service. Well done Debbie!!

Disgusting service
Never ever experienced such low life's and absolutely disgusting service. I have never been treated so badly by a retail store. The manager was the worst of them all. I wanted to support the small store but was the worse service i have ever recieved. They even went as low as personal verbal attacts towards me

Dreadful customer service
I purchased a smart tv at the Joondalup store, WA eoyfs on 30th June, six weeks later I was still waiting for the delivery that was promised "by the next week end". On calling them several times for information, I was only ever offered a refund. When I complained to the store mananger he was extremely unhelpful, very rude, arrogant and could not offer an explanation for the delay. On hearing it could be a further five weeks, i took the refund went to Harvey Norman and am now the proud owner of a smart tv. Badly done Retravision, their complete disrepect for the customer, means I will never shop their again or recommend them to anyone else!

Great store!
In my town we have three electrical stores and I find the Sale Retravision store to be the best of the lot. Much better than Harvey Norman and Dick Smith. The staff are knowledgeable and always willing to help, even coming out after work in some cases when there has been a problem. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

you need to ring manufacturer beacuse white good have two year manufacturer warrenty.

Nightmare on Retravision Street !!!!!!!!
My last experience on the 21/07/2011 has been nothing short of horrifying. I've been accused of being a liar, abusive and now they think I'm an idiot too. I'm a 54 year old grandmother who wanted a new fridge/freezer with a child lock for obvious reasons. The salesperson was informed of this at the getgo. xclusive to Retravision. (I later found the exact same fridge online and at a cheaper price). I also wanted the other appliances to completely refurbish my kitchen. I waited 2 weeks for the salesperson to gather information regarding the other appliances and when it became apparent that she couldn't be bothered I went to the rival store in town who were only too happy to help me. Unfortunately they couldn't get the Sharp fridge so I relunctantly agreed to purchase it from Retravision. After delivery I noticed that the functions I was told it had were non existent and I was really disappointed. I went into the store with my brochure in hand and spoke to the salesperson who sold it to me. She said that she wasn't aware that the model I bought was any different to the one in the booklet she gave me. I showed her the notations that were made in it(I accidently left it with her when I left the store)and asked if I could speak to the owner. He wasn't in so I asked her to have him call me. 2 days passed and nothing!! In the meantime my granddaughter is having a ball opening 4 doors as opposed to the 1 door on my old fridge. I contacted a person from the Northern Sales Area and after a rather tense conversation with her she said that she would look into it for me. 2 hours later the store owner rang and accused me of abusing the woman I had spoken to. I immediately defended myself and was promptly told that SHE doesn't lie, and that meant that I do. It got worse from there as I was told that the salesperson (who sold me the fridge) I had spoken to 2 days prior is now denying she told me the fridge had the extra functions. He then went on to say that I should have tested the fridge in the store before I bought it. I don't know about anyone else, but I have never heard of road testing fridges, dishwashers or any other appliances. Suddenly it's all my fault that I have been delivered a fridge that is of no use to me. On top of that I mentioned that I had found the fridge in question on the Retravision website and the extra functions were listed under the specs. He then told me that if that was the case it would be Sharps's fault for giving them the wrong product information. I ended the conversation as I felt physically sick (and I was) because of the treatment I was receiving from them. I had to call my daughter to come and help me because I was so stressed about the whole thing. Last night I thought I would save and print the Retravision website page about the fridge and to my horror it had been amended and the correct info entered. I have been desperately trying to find a cached page but so far no luck. I am disgusted that they thought to save their own butts by acting on the information I freely gave them and in the process they hung me out to dry. I have potentially saved them thousands of dollars and the necessity to go through this crap again with another consumer. The fact still stands that I was sold a fridge that I have not received and I want it. I'm still reeling from being accused of being a liar, an abuser and that I'm to blame for the fridge not having the child lock because I didn't road test the fridge. I'm thinking that I should take my Sunday roast down to the store and road test an oven. How ridiculous!!! After I recovered from the initial shock I realised that I haven't as yet paid for the fridge and won't until I have the model with the child lock or better yet they can come and take this one back and I'll take my business to the local Betta store who are supplying all the other appliances that Retravision couldn't be bothered about. I will never again enter a Retravision store and word of mouth goes a long way in a small country town. I have also lodged a complaint with Fair Trading and I will see this through to the end. Prior to this incident I had purchased a number of large appliances from the store over the past 12 years and have had no problems. I think that's also what makes this whole debacle so idiotic. They and or Sharp are responsilble for the information passed on to the consumer and that's the bottom line. The dirty conniving underhanded tactics that have been used against me are simply unforgivable and I will not be so trusting in the future. Not the fridge I purchased.Similar opinion? Gave my slow cooker away the wok does everything
The Retravision store at Balaklava S.A. one of the best. I got a terrific deal on my wok not only will it stir fry but is a slow cooker as well.Even makes soups,Chilli Con Carne,casseroles.So easy to clean just a wipe over damp cloth and ready to go again. cheers

Note that I know sometimes stores you will get bad experiences and some good, for me as much as I have not really bought something at RetraVision, their services has been pretty well presented even for my work place when I ask for a quote they give discounts as well. I was looking at cook tops and we were served with a good sales person who explained everything dispite we told him we were browsing. As much as he ensured we were ok to be "disturbed" as some prefer to look in peace but we needed some explainations. Their displays are pretty well spaced, I think they are doing a good job.

nished work at 4.30pm - 10 mins later male person rang back & spoke down to me & wouldn't let me talk and kept repeating would leave note on board for driver to come back and help me move the fridge and I stated once I could speak that I appreciated this. I found this whole experience to be very upsetting at the very least. March 24th 2012 Retravision Shepparton refused to refund or exchange faulty shaver bought in Nov 2011. mails and an un-returned phone call, I sent a letter outlining my disappointment at lack of care and breach of Returns Policy. Customer Service person abrupt and uncaring - not at all interested in the way this issue has been handled by the store and refused to accept Returns Policy was breached nor acknowledged I had received poor customer service. Retrovision Praise
As this is the only whitegood shop we have in my local area, I enjoy shopping there as the staff are friendly and always helpful. We have a wide variety of products there and always find what I am looking for. I feel comfortable browsing throught the store and not having pushy sales person prompting to buy the first thing as they make sure you get what you require.

Purchased an Sunbeam Ice maker in November 2010 only to find that it was faulty after its second use. Returned the item just before XMAS and was advised that someone woould contact me within a week to resolve the issue. Last Saturday (1 Month Later) i went down to the store to ask for a refund to which i was advised that "Retravision dont give refunds" to which i advised its the law if the item is faulty. Salesperson just ignored me and said he will sort it out, and repeated "we dont give refunds". The matter is now with consumer affairs!! Crooks!!

Despite the convenience of the location, I will never shop at RetraVision again - their service from management down is appalling.

We bought our washing machine last year from Retravison and have also looked at TV's and other small appliances there. For the washing machine we went in with a promotional flyer from the store - it was the brand but not the model that we wanted and the sales person was able to do us a very good price on the other model. We were even able to wait 3 weeks until we moved into our new house to pick it up. When looking at TV's I have generally found the sales staff to be helpful and knowledgeable but not pushy. Staff can only know so much they can't know everything. They have to get taught by represenatives of companies and by looking up information off the internet and catalogues/brochures. You can't expect someone who hasn't made a product to be able to tell you everything about it
Companies like samsung and sony and panasonic only have a 14,21,14 swap over period respectively for TV's/DVD players/VCR's etc
You can't judge a store on one sales assistant or sale.
Staff are helpful if the do their homework, they offer all sorts of services like tuning tv's etc, delivery, resort cheques, installation/setup of goods

I am always pleased with my purchases after buying at Retravision stores.
If anything goes wrong with the product they will always help me to get it rectified quickly, thankfully this doesn't happen often.
They make buying eletrical products an enjoyable process, instead of bewildering.

I purchased a Bosch avantixx front loader washing machine approximately 2 yes ago and it is making a berring noise when sucking the water out I'm not sure if I got extended warranty and the store I brought it from at tweed heads has now close I am wondering how do I find out of I have extended warranty??

I think I sent a email to retravision and got a phone call from the WA office, it was the only state body still going. They said that each state was separate but they followed up the information I gave them about the extended warranty, they found out that this company was also out of business . So it was a waste of money .
Check your receipt to see if you purchased an extended warranty but also check your instruction booklet to see what warranty is given by Bosch, it may be 3 years. Also Queensland may have similar laws to NSW where goods must last a reasonable amount of time. In NSW this is administered by the NSW Office of Fair Trading.

I just looked online and it appears the Bosch warranty is for 2 years, so if your purchase was less than 2 years ago you will be OK but also have a chat with your local Office of Fair Trading. 2 years out of a washing machine is ridiculous. My opinion is to buy a cheaper ($600) front loader like Electrolux and when it breaks down throw it away and buy another one. As an electrician, I have found the expensive machines don't last any longer than the cheaper popular brands. Next time, maybe try Electrolux, Westinghouse or Whirlpool.
