Total nonsense in this day and age that shirts can't be delivered within 2 weeks... supposedly sending out an email that software been hacked and lost orders have they never heard of backing-up... so have they really been to the authorities over this?
Word of advice... never buy their suits they are prob the worst in market for durability. Can expect to wear it for a dozen times and the pants will rip on you. Tried taking it back and never got any reply or anything, heading to go under for a second time no doubt. Seems they are trading while insolvent.
As nothing warns or apologises on their website. Nor do they have a customer service manager reviewing these complaints or reviewing them internally.

Purchased a suit online in July 2018, told there would be a slight delay due to warehouse issues or something.
after numerous emails, Im still waiting for the suit to arrive and its near Feb 2022.
Never waited this long for a suit before so if it does arrive, it better be the BEST suit in the world.
This company uses your money to run their business and doesn't supply the goods
Haven't received my shirts since ordering them over 2 months ago. Was promised them two weeks ago. Now asking for a refund and still haven't received that either. No one is accountable, head office doesn't answer the phone. Unprofessional and deceptive. Lodging complaint with Consumer Affairs Victoria. Dodgy company that uses your money for the cash flow of their business and doesn't provide the purchased goods.
I purchased a suit and some shirts for my husband for Christmas. Minus the slight delay in the items arriving, the quality was exceptional and someone was always happy to respond to my queries. One of the shirts was incorrect and there was no problems with exchanging it. Will definitely buy again.

So i ordered 5 shirts on the 11th of january 2022 and am generally (i think) a patient person. I received no shirts and today is thursday the 24th of january 2022. I called the store and spoke with an employee who was very pleasant. She told me that the shirts might take 4 weeks as they do not have them in stock knowing full well this is not the terms which were offered at the point of sale. This company is a disgrace and i feel certain i will not receive these shirts any time soon. I suppose it is my fault i didnt review this site and the general feelings towards this company prior to purchasing. I do hope the department of fair trading approaches this company and request they pull their head in.
Ordered my shirts on 10/12. Tried contacting them during Christmas and early NY. Sent an email for the third time to the info address and finally received a response. It was personalised and explained that they have had to manually audit what had and hadn’t been sent over the past few months, as their systems had failed. They said they would respond to me in 72 hrs. I hv just received an email and sms saying it will arrive tomorrow. Hopefully everyone else gets there’s sorted as well.
If only I had read product review first! Like many people I had purchased from Rhodes & Beckett over the years and had always liked the quality of their product. Having not purchased since they re-opened I was sucked in by their recent 70% off sale. After paying and waiting 3 weeks, still nothing from Rhodes & Beckett, no response to e-mails for an update and the main website was also shut down. I have since lodged this with my credit card provider as a fraudulent transaction.
Be aware, stay away. They still send me e-mails every day about sales, this is a clear scam to raise revenue prior to folding completely. Shame to see this from a well known brand.

I bought my item to be delivered in Oct 2018, till now January 2022, there has been no response, no refunds made. I’m living out of Australia, buying this only because I loved Herringbone and Rhodes came up. Who knows such a reputable brand does this to consumers! How can I get my money back?
I purchased a suit in Sept 2018 and have still not received the suit despite numerous requests - 17 weeks later !
Have also received numerous emails from Rhodes and Beckett promoting a 70% sale.

I have never felt the need to write one of these as always feel like 'public shaming' is not the right way to go about things. I'm making a major exception in this instance.
Ordered 8 shirts in November last year. Part of the order turned up 6 weeks (mid December) with a note to say the rest will be shipped shortly. Needless to say nothing has arrived still. Yet they continue to promote the same shirts in the same sizes promising fast delivery. Its simply nothing short of a con.

Hoping this saves even just one person the hassle and the cash!Don't deliver goods, don't respond to emails. Ordered clothing from one of their sales with a "guaranteed" dispatch date. That date was well in the past and still nothing. No response to emails. Should be shutdown.
I ordered three items and only received two. Have been emailing constantly about the outstanding item with no response. I have received further emails suggesting outstanding item is in stock (at 70% off).
Now that website has been restored (on new domain), just wanted to highlight that their general contact email address has changed. Was "[email protected]" now "[email protected]" in case you need to chase up your order or refund.

Like all the other comments I purchased shirts last month and have not had any response to any of my follow ups.
I just received an email from Rhodes and Beckett promoting a 70% sale.
Don’t buy anything online from them.
If you have a problem the best option is to go to the head office on Collins Street, Melbourne.
Can’t believe a once great brand can be now so unethical.

Purchased four shirts during their Black Friday online sale (extensively advertised), never received. No answer to emails and phones ringing out at head office. Now see that this is common unfortunately. Have reported to Consumer Affairs. Website is now down which is good - at least they can't scam anyone else.
Failed to deliver, failed to advise of reason for delay and now link to track (unchanged) status of order no longer operates. Surprisingly I did receive one response from R&B to my numerous emails enquiring on whereabouts of order. It stated that they were working around the clock to fill orders and that I should continue to monitor the status of my order via the link provided in my receipt.
In an attempt to get a refund I notified my credit card company that this was a fraudulent transaction and that they had failed to deliver any goods.
Like many of you I purchased many times prior to the liquidation in 2017. My early November 2018 order is still pending and like others I have not been able to make contact in recent times (calling and emails).
I have since lodged a dispute with my credit card provider and essentially sighted Victoria Consumer Affairs law in relation to chargeback claims (refer link below).

Like other reviews, I ordered a pre sale suit at 70% off in Sep with expected delivery in mid Oct. Despite my order not being delivered due to shipping delays there continued to be online sales for the same suit. I have since seen the notice their domain has been suspended due to non-payment, i received the same auto reply email when I sent a follow up email for a refund of my order.
The Company has clearly been using the online store to generate cash flow despite persistent issues with fulfilling existing orders.

I have been purchasing Herringbone and Rhodes & Beckett for years now. Obviously when Herringbone went down Rhodes & Beckett were on the way. However I never thought they would actually take peoples money and not ship any of the orders thats a totally criminal act. I ordered a small amount only $100 worth but with a website thats been taken down and e-mail addresses that don't exist anymore I know the goods are never coming. Terrible to sell goods knowing your never going to ship them.
Shame on you guys :(

asked for a refund 1 month ago - nothing...
I didn't search or read these on line reviews before buying, having bought from R&B for years (last purchase around 18M ago) I proceeded as normal.
Now 4 weeks after my purchase, website domain is no longer supported as they have not paid their bill. Phone numbers are disconnected, emails bounce as their domain is not supported.
I would suggest they are now in receivership. I'll keep trying with OCBA and update this with any progress. Suggest anyone with outstanding purchases and no goods have now lost their money.
We've been loyal customers for years and years - after they went into liquidation and came back into business everything has been a disgrace - service, sizing, and quality! Yes I am one of the many others who are still waiting on a suit from September. After excuses and promises broken I sent another email this morning and it bounced back saying their domain is suspended due to non payment of services. Their media company (I selected that option when I called in desperation to try and get someone to answer the phone - no-one ever answers on any of the numbers - even Sydney stores) said they've cut all ties with them. I assume other people have outstanding orders but already paid in full like me? Any advice welcome...
I have been taken for over a grand. They lied several times about the issues faced but have not delivered any of the products order 6 months ago. The 18th December delivery date is a lie and they are obviously completely bankrupt now. Recommend anyone who purchased contact department of Fair trading.
I have previously purchased R&B products via online with no issues and always loved the quality. However I hadn’t purchased anything since July 2017. After reading the reviews below, I wished I’d checked out reviews prior to placing my most recent order.
I purchased two shirts in the after Christmas sales (27th) and they are yet to arrive. Their website is down, and their stores don’t answer their phones. I’m pretty sure I’ve been scammed. I will be pursuing a chargeback via my bank on Monday.
