When you set the timer to start and finish air conditioning on the portable model, will this repeat on a daily basis? (Will it switch on and off at the same time each day?)

The cooling seems to stay on for a brief time (5minutes) then reverts to fan for about 15 minutes). It definitely does not get to the temperature that I set it to. Any clues?

The unit is brand new. It also has the heat exhausted through a wall outlet.

It fails if over 25 degrees. Waiting for an answer before I return back to Goodguys.

Hi. I’ve tried tech support and they could not provide an answer. I tried your service team and they suggest I return it back to the retailer for a replacement.

Hi there,
I purchased my portable air con a little over a month ago. in this time it has not alerted me that the water needs to be emptied even though I use it on a nightly basis. I tried to empty it but it didn't contain any water. It also constantly switches from cool to air.

I bought the RPC41WA a few weeks ago and got it delivered last Thursday. On the first night of use (Friday) I had the condensate drain hose on and woke to have a saturated carpet. On the second night I had a 80L bin which the unit filled it up almost to the top.

I then plugged up the Drain Outlet (7) and no problem. Is the correct way to use is by plugging up the Drain Outlet or by connecting the Condensate drain hose? Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the question FranA. Could you please send your details to [email protected] mentioning this review and we will be able to forward further information to you.

Really? I am asking the question here but I need to contact someone else? That's not very helpful.

How about providing the answer and being transparent in order to help everyone reading these reviews? Why be evasive?

Is it suppose to keep switching from air con to just fan then back to air con? 3min air con, then 8min just fan then switches back to air con. Did I get a faulty unit?

Does anyone have any tricks or tips for securing the vent hose? It keeps popping off the back of the unit which is getting annoying.

Sounds like its not screwed in properly ? Just just try and screw it right in till it wont screw anymore and it stops. Otherwise maybe use thick sticky tape and tape it down

Hi, I understand it is completely normal for a portable air conditioner to be noisy. But how noisy is too noisy? We just purchased the 41WA and it is so loud that it hurts my head and I can’t sleep through the night. My guys feeling tell me there’s something wrong but how do I know for a fact?

I don't know if this is going to be of any help to you. My Rinai is located in a very large space 16 X 14 metres square and it may be that the sound effects are louder if your space is smaller than mine
