I purchased my portable air con a little over a month ago. in this time it has not alerted me that the water needs to be emptied even though I use it on a nightly basis. I tried to empty it but it didn't contain any water. It also constantly switches from cool to air.
Thanks for the question Chanelle, it is not unusual for the air-conditioning unit to not require emptying as it depends on the weather conditions. In more humid areas where the unit is drawing more ...

Read more Thanks, Rinnai AustraliaI bought the RPC41WA a few weeks ago and got it delivered last Thursday. On the first night of use (Friday) I had the condensate drain hose on and woke to have a saturated carpet. On the second night I had a 80L bin which the unit filled it up almost to the top.
I then plugged up the Drain Outlet (7) and no problem. Is the correct way to use is by plugging up the Drain Outlet or by connecting the Condensate drain hose? Thanks in advance.

I love my new Rinnai portable air conditioner but is the motor meant to constantly cut in and out?
I think that’s a question for Rinnai. Mine stays on until the preset temp is achieved
Youve got "climate control" on. Sounds like youve programmed the temperature to be at room temperature like 22 deg or something which means when the room is at 23 or 24 the air cond will try and cool ...
Read moreit coming down to 22 when it will switch off. But then switched off the room temp goes back up to 23, 24, 25 etc it will switch itself on again to try and cool it down. Just turn the temperature down to 16 or 17 that way the air cond will always try to get down to that temp and never really be able to so it stays on all the timeIt shouldn't do, please contact Rennai for conformation while it is still under warranty.
Does anyone have any tricks or tips for securing the vent hose? It keeps popping off the back of the unit which is getting annoying.
Sounds like its not screwed in properly ? Just just try and screw it right in till it wont screw anymore and it stops. Otherwise maybe use thick sticky tape and tape it down

Read morer from the outlet as this will put extra pressure on this connection.Hi, I understand it is completely normal for a portable air conditioner to be noisy. But how noisy is too noisy? We just purchased the 41WA and it is so loud that it hurts my head and I can’t sleep through the night. My guys feeling tell me there’s something wrong but how do I know for a fact?
I think I can answer this because I have had an exceptional circumstance a little while ago that made my Rinai noisier than it should be. And there’s a slim chance this might be happening for you. Bef...
Read moreore it started to get warm up here in Brisbane, friends visited who have a curious three year old. She was sitting on the floor playing with a bunch of small plastic zip ties, and I notice that she passed one or two of them through one of the plug holes at the back where you attach the pipe that drains any condensation when the aircon is running. So when the first hot day came and I fired up the Rinai and all,was well until the compressor fan kicked in. It does sound like one of those plastic zip ties it hitting against the bottom fan when the compressor starts and that’s considerably louder than before. I’ve not, done anything about it yet, but the manual has a section on what panels can be removed to clean the filters etc. my guess is that you could remove any foreign object that might be causing a rattle like mine has. I know this is going to be a slim chance that this is also your problem, but it’s worth considering. Hope that helpsI don't know if this is going to be of any help to you. My Rinai is located in a very large space 16 X 14 metres square and it may be that the sound effects are louder if your space is smaller than mine
