I LOVE THIS CAR SEAT! It's just so practical and well worth the money!
Fantastic for winter babies like mine as you can put them in the car seat inside the house so you don't have to transfer them to the carseat outside in the cold.
I also love how it fits snuggly in one side of my Babylove Twin Oddessey stroller, although it does make it a little more squishy for my 20mo daughter. (It's not offically compatible with this stroller though, nor does it actually 'click in'... but i does feel sturdy and won't just fall-out)
I wish i had this...Read more

This was a great purchase. We use it as a travel system and this has been very useful for getting baby from car to house or shops without waking her. The only real downside is that it does get very hot for baby in the summer. I'm glad we got the Unity capsule rather than the cheaper Safe n Sound model, because it has lasted us a long time (8 months and our bub still fits!). Getting in/out of the car takes practice but its ok once you've done it a few times.
Great as part of a travel system with the Steelcraft Profile stroller. Good quality. Las...Read more

We rented this car seat as part of a travel system with the stroller. I loved the fact we could walk around with the stroller and when bub fell asleep the capsule just lifts out and clips in the car. I don't think I would ever purchase this capsule though as it is very expensive and there are better capsules for that price.
Great for getting bub in and out of the car. Can get baby all strapped in inside the house and can take sleeping bub out of the car and leave him in the car seat for a bit of a sleep. Doubles as a rocker, great for getti...Read more

Overall, I was very happy with this product. I just wished I had decided to get one earlier for my other kids, but that's life. I would highly recommend this to all my friends and family.
This baby capsule was one of my best buys! A pity I bought it for my third child and not my first because I could have saved myself a lot of headaches of unbuckling them in and out of there car seats. This pram was so handy in taking your baby around. So easy to use, you just click your baby in, rock them to sleep in it too, then click them into the base and a...Read more

We went halves on this product with another couple so it worked out cheaper than hiring and obviously can use it for bubs No.2. Our little boy is 3 months and still it it. The other couple had their little in it up to 12 months of age (she was a little one). It is starting to get too heavy to lug around now with him in it, but is handy when he falls asleep, we can just carry him inside without waking him.
Easy to use
Nice design
Can fit into some prams (unfortunately not the pram we bought) to save waking bubs unnecessarily.
Seems a lot more secure, especially when bubs is newborn.
Sunshade is a great idea, but I found it kept coming off when I moved the carry handle around, a little annoying.

OK
Capsules are really handy for newborns in that you can avoid taking out the pram and keep the little one asleep after a car ride. This capsule is quite expensive though, so hiring is usually a better option when it can only be used for 8-12 months usually. The main thing I'd say is to be careful to get the base securely fitted to the car and sitting flat so the capsule isn't too upright.
12kg weight limit (compared to 9kg for many other capsules and some car seats), slimline compared to SNS old style capsule. Compatible with prams.
Moving carry handle position is awkward. Quite heavy. Fitting the base into the car isn't the easiest, and it isn't as secure and stable as other capsules

Capsules are a big ticket item considering that you only use them for a max of 6 months of your childs life. This unit in particular really only goes to 4 months due to the size restrictions. I would suggest hiring instead of buying. www.hireforbaby.com has a great range of capsules including the Safe N Sound Unity Infant Carrier. Great Product
Another great product from Safe N Sound. It is so plush and padded so lots of comfort for the child.
Didn't rate very well with the RTA check. One of the more expensive capsules on the market.

This was a lifesaver when our baby was born. Made it so easy to get out and about. Was great to have the travel system option as well as he did not seem to be very comfortable in the stroller alone, whereas the capsule is nice and snug.
Started to get pretty heavy to lug around the shops and the information that it will fit baby up to 12kg is misleading as all babies I have seen in these have usually been out of the capsule by 5 or 6 months as they have become too long.
Great for taking sleeping bubs out of car into the house, cafe etc. Clipped onto our stroller (Valco Ion) which was great. Bub is safe and secure in the car. Reasonably priced.
Starts to get pretty heavy when bub gets bigger.

I'm really glad I bought this capsule for my first baby because I think it's worthwhile if you can get use out of it for 2 children. My little girl is just over 9 months old and she still fits into it (just). It's really hard wearing and even after a couple of washes, still in like new condition.
This was the lightest capsule on the market, which really makes a difference when the baby starts to get heavier. I like that the baby's spine is relatively straight when seated in the capsule compared to other models. It fits into many travel systems,...Read more

Fantastic car seat- Highly recommended!
Car seat is sturdy, easy to get Bub in and out of and looks good. Adjustable strap heights are easy to change and instructions are clear and easy to understand.
Easy to use, clicks in and out of base unit with ease, padded straps are comfortable for Bub, very sturdy.
The base unit required a towel to be propped up on in my car (Subaru Liberty sedan) as the seats are slightly on an angle. The sun shade is also a little difficult to attach and need to be taken on and off each time Bub is placed in the car

excellent, wish i had it for my first two
I bought this for my 3rd baby, i wish i had of had it for my first two, its such an awesome idea. It was great for me to use as I didnt have to wake my bub when doing school pick up and drop offs, I also had the stroller it clipped into which made my life even easier.
Sometimes when my baby was really upset i just had to put him in his capsule and he would calm down right away, he must have liked the cosiness of it.
Love not having to wake my sleeping bub, convinient, can be used as a rocker,
Bub would sometimes get quite sweaty, it gets heavy after a few months with bub in it.

Best carrier on the market in my opinion!
So handy to have whilst out and about to not have to wake a sleeping baby, especially when used in conjunction with a travel system compatible stroller. Looks great and is super easy to use. Loved It!
Very safe, Looks stylish, Great padded insert, One of the lightest carriers we tried, Easy to use and has the highest max weight rating (12kg)
Got quite hot in the carrier on warmer days, but is the same with all infant carriers.

Fantastic Capsule
We are currently awaiting the arrival of our second baby and had been dissatisfied with the capsule we had purchased for our first - namely he was a long baby and outgrew it very quickly.
We also found that our previous capsule was not compatible with any other brand!
So off I went to find the perfect capsule, one that would account for a baby who is longer than the average, one that did not require the strength of a body builder to lift, one that could be cleaned easily and finally one that came from a company that has a crash and repl...Read more
ace for new policy! What was the outcome and scored 4/4 - That's right you guessed it the safe n sound unity. It also fits perfectly on the back seat of my mazda three! A huge plus for this capsule is that it is compatible with a large variety of prams from the Steelcraft to the Mountain Buggy all with the use of an inexpensive adapter.Similar opinion? Excellent- simple and easy
I bought this when my 2nd child was born. Not only was my first child still using the reversible carseat but I found that the reversible seat really inconvient, especially when the baby is still asleep. With the capsule, you can take baby anywhere, without waking baby, which is a plus for me, now with 3 kids. You know what they say, never wake a sleeping baby!!! This capsule is also really comfortable, unlike the older styles, however I did find that this capsule is quite heavy.
Convienient- baby stays asleep when out and about. Can attach to various prams with a special adapter.

Excellent product but safety rating not that high
Don't get me wrong, I love this capsule, but it only scored an average safety rating in the RACV review - hence 4 stars. Unfortunately that review came out after we bought the capsules for our twins. From a concept and ease of use point of view it's a brilliant capsule. The babies are snug and warm, they don't seem to sweat even on hot days and the fabric is easy to clean. The capsules rock nicely to settle the babies and aren't that heavy to carry. The ability to just settle the babies straight into the capsule and then click it into the car b...Read more
ase or into the pram (you need an optional adapter/bracket for a compatible pram) is probably worth the compromise in safety rating because it does make life so much easier which is particularly important with multiples. If the higher safety rating capsules had the same features re clicking into car base and pram I would have chosen differently. Ability to settle baby into capsule and then click into pram and car without waking bub. Average safety ratingSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Although very expensive as stand-alone individual pieces, my wife had the patience to research and consider the options (ie. Buy/hire etc). It paid off – we attended a ‘child and baby Expo’ and were able to make a package deal (two car seat bases, baby capsule, a latest model of a three-wheel pram, all necessary accessories ) that worked out a saving of about $400.00.
My wife and I are very happy with the product. Its safe, it modern, it looks good and its capitable features (pram etc)allows us flexibility, without any significant future cos...Read more
ts, if we choose to have another child. Its 3-in-1 concept of allowing the baby capsule compatible with the car seat base and a pram (need to research – not all prams are compatible)is a great feature. My wife and I found it very handy and convenient when the bub was a sleep and transferring her from the house to the car; car to the pram (then shopping) and then vice versa, without disturbing her, was a great benefit. We found the capsule rocking capability (not too strenuous) to be quiet useful when we were trying to settle her when we were visiting friends. The increase weight restriction of 12kg (compared to the tradition 9kg) was also a deciding factor. As our baby got heavier the capsule felt a bit awkward and cumbersome when carrying it around (take advantage of securing it to the pram, when feasible – will need special bracket). In regards to the capsule base itself, the levelling knob of the base can be a hindrance as it does not necessarily level the base sufficiently, if your seats are at a lower angle. I have resorted to using a towel to accommodate this in our cars. Like other frustrated uses/reviewers - the release latch on the front of the capsule can be a bit difficult to disconnect from the seat base. (NOTE: I have found that when you apply slight downward pressure, at the same time of pressing on the release latch, the capsule releases and removes for freely)Similar opinion? excellent capsule!
We bought this so that we could attach it with an adaptor to our pram (valco rebel q) -- and it's been the best thing ever!
The capsule is comfortable for baby, easy to use and the sun visor is terrific. The cover comes off easily and washes well -- it also dries very quickly (and did not stain!)
We were able to buy a second base separately (as we have two cars) so it is fantastic to swap from car to car and from car to pram -- without waking the baby up! Brilliant!

Makes life easy!
After using a different brand capsule with our older children, we purchased the SnS Unity Capsule for our 4th child - mainly because it has a higher weight limit than most of the capsules on the market & we were able to buy an adaptor bar, so it'll connect straight on to our pram - no more waking the baby going in & out! Certainly making life easy with the 4th child!
Higher weight limit, great fit in our car with other car seats, bubs is comfortable in it, inexpensive, love the fabric, handy & easy to use.

Absolutely love it!!
I wish I had've purchased one for my first baby! My 2nd is now 9 months old, and I still use it to carry her in and out of shops when I am ducking in. It's convenient, easy to clean and most of all safe. I have an attachment that clips it onto the pram, so no need to wake her when we get to the shops!
Convenient, secure, safe

Hi I have a Britax bob car capsule and wondered if my friend could use it in a steel craft agile pram and what type of adaptors?/receivers? Would she need?

Support C.Britax Safe-n-Sound
Hi Sharon P. Thanks for your question. If the Bob capsule is a 2013 STD (series) and has the integrated click & go adapters, your friend can use this capsule in a Steelcraft Agile pram however will need to purchase the Agile Click & Go receivers. These are available through baby retail stores. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us on 1300 303 330. Kind regards, the Britax Childcare team.
Tamaraasked
Hi, I have the steel craft strider capsule (I bought it in 2013) - I have just bought the bob revolution pro pram can I get adaptors so the capsule fits? I had the steel craft strider twin agile and have adaptors that fit that for the capsule to fit, is it the same adaptors at all?

Support C.Britax Safe-n-Sound
Hi Tamara, thanks for your question. The Bob Revolution Pro cannot take a Steelcraft Infant carrier and can only take a Safe-n-Sound Unity 2013 STD with Bob single adapters. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact our consumer support team on 1300 303 330. Kind regards, the Britax Childcare team.
Can it take any model of the safe and sound capsule?
Support C.Britax Safe-n-Sound
Hi Tamara, The 2010 STD was compatible however you would have also required the Britax Click & Go adapters however we no longer manufacture this adapter. The Click & Go adapters now come inbuilt in the Safe-n-Sound Unity 2013STD.
