Love this phone
Had a HTC beforehand and it was driving me nuts. After my husband got this phone I wanted one too. I love you can draw on your pictures and do live notes and can sign forms on your phone and send them back rather then printing and scanning them. It's easy to use, battery handles fine if you put the energy saving stuff on and the optimisation is great to make sure your phone is running at it's best.

Love it!!!!
I have had the Samsung Galaxy note 8 for several months now and I just totally love it and would recommend it to anyone and anyone... I love how it has the pen gadget and that I can write messages in my own hand writing....

Finally a device I like although I could have made a better choice
The device is great, there is no don't about that. I have compared the speed and performance using benchmarking apps and it is a great device.
But, I regret that I purchased the model with curved edges. It's so inconvenient. I'm not sure why they produce these models. The only benefit is that if you skew your eyes you can see more pixels. But anything to do with touching or using S-pen on the curved edge is impractical and a lot of times you do want to touch the edge of webpages. So, if I had a choice I'd go for devices with straight square screens.

Great phone,
Excellent display
love the swipe key functions work very smooth when typing.
Like the Spen much better in writing to editing.
The camera is awesome quality & clarity
Con's
Don't like the Bixby button just below volume - wished it hadn't had one should be used via the app
Would be useful to having double tap to open the screen, as the power button accidentally gets pressed Bixby or volume buttons when switching on the phone

Feature packed phone with great style and design
Been using this phone for the past 8 months and I haven't been disappointed with a Samsung phone. Been using the Note 4 for 4 years before this phone and these phones are made to last. I love how the bezel is tiny and the screen is vibrant and clear even on bright sunlit conditions. The battery on the Note series is well known and it lasts me the entire day (heavy user eg: social media, games, messaging). The phone is sleek, too sleek for me so I prefer handling the phone with a case protector (tech21 clear). Love the stylus (once you get used ...Read more
to it, you'll always look for it on a phone) and the fact that there is a micro SD slot (using 64GB but expandable to 128GB). Negative for me is that that battery is built in (due to adding water rating) and I'm not sure how long before I kill my battery as I said, heavy user (changed my battery 2x when had Note 4). Also a negative/positive, the sleek glass body which slides out of pocket (especially when wearing shorts). But using a case anyways. Also, the location of the finger print scanner which is almost flush to the camera. Would recommend this phone to anyone and great phone if porting from iPhone.Similar opinion? beautiful phone. would give 5 stars if the battery was a bit bigger
there is some bloatware that you don't need
screen is beautiful and the design is great
i don't use the finger print scanner for the finger print unlock so its location doesn't bother me
the battery could be a bit bigger
overall i don't regret buying this phone
was tossing up between this and another sony but at the moment the note 8 is stellar

Beyond Expectation
This Samsung note 8 is beyond my expectation. I got it on a plan from Telstra about 6months ago and I am blown away from its performance. S pen feature is awesome and keeps me productive throughout the day. The display is the perfect size and clarity is breathtaking. Love every bit of this phone. but got to be careful with the glass at the front and the back.

Love this phone!
I've always been an iPhone user but this phone has made me addicted to the Android system. So many things can be done on this phone and the camera is excellent! I love the stylish edges it has and the big screen. It's been running very smoothly for the year I have had it. Definitely recommend.

Would never look back
Best features and most amazing phone camera I have come across to date. I won't switch phones until Samsung launch their next amazing creation equivalent to this. I used to be an iPhone sheep until I discovered the wonderful world of Samsung and now I will never go back!! I have converted many people.

A great phone with a bad edge
This is a really good phone and an excellent digital assistant. I am surprised how often I use the S-pen for all kinds of note taking. Being able to hand write details on photos has been a boon to engineering modifications. There are a couple of drawbacks. Battery life is not that great, lasting little more than the working day. The curved edge is a pain, being easily touched when you don't want and making the phone awkward to hold. And going from fixed physical home buttons to software overlay buttons means that accessing them often requires ...Read more
fiddly swiping and having the buttons pop up over the screen when you don't want them to. I would rather a slightly shorter screen and a bigger bottom bezel if it meant getting back the physical buttons. If the Note7 had not been a fire hazard, I would have that instead of the Note8. Great phone, but it will not be replaced with another edge phone.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Perfect phone!
This has got to be one of the greatest phones I've ever had the pleasure of not only owning, but using! The screen looks amazing, the speed is amazing, the battery life is amazing!
I go through phones like they're going out of fashion, always selling and upgrading, but now I believe this phone is going to last me many, many years until either it breaks or I break.
If you don't want an iPhone, get a Note 8, you'll never regret it.

My favorite object
This is by far the favorite object I own. It is sleek, efficient, powerful and a true joy to use. I love the extra large display. I don't use my stylist as much as I could but it's useful to have it for signing papers which I need to do fairly regularly as I work away. My partner uses it too.

Great phone
I've had this phone for about 6 months now and it has been great so far. This phone has a great battery life and I can usually get through a whole day of heavy use without charging it. I also love the big screen and the camera works amazing. I would recommend this phone.

Incredible comeback.
The Note 8 has returned with a vengeance. I have had this phone for 9 months now and it hasn't slowed down a bit. Whatever you do on it it is blistering fast. Photos are amazing and l have even taken pictures under water with it. The battery tends to run down if you use it heavily but plug it in and within 20 minutes it has enough power to see the day through. I recommend this to anyone undecided about biying one, go for it and you will not be disappointed.

The in built hardware makes the phone fast and it doesn't lag. The s pen saves your life. It is such a user friendly phone.

Powerful but cumbersome in many ways
It's a good phone. Really fast, excellent camera, excellent battery life. In all other respects my S5 was a better phone. You lose some image at the curve of the screen. The fingerprint scanner has trouble reading my print, the retina scanner is completely useless and the facial recognition is useless. Unlocking the screen was so annoying I switched the security off. It doesn't integrate with bluetooth accessories as well as my previous phone. The pen keeps popping out unintentionally. It has a few cool apps I guess, but they are mostly gimmicks - they don't really do anything.

The Perfect Phone
This powerhouse of a unit is most definitely the best phone I have had period! The specs are off tap, with 6gb of ram 6.2 inch screen and stylus, it's the perfect business tool. I use it as a daily driver and when needed can screenshot images, make recommendations and changes with the stylus using the inbuilt app, things normally reserved for the PC. This unit has been discounted in most stores, definitely a must have!

Hating this phone...
The screen is a nuisance to use...it should be flat there is no advantage in a curved screen ... gimmicky.
I have wasted money on buying screen protectors that do fit well.
Bixby is annoying... cannot get rid if it...never use it ... never will.
My Note 2 was a much better user experience for 6 years...can't wait to finish my contract and buy a better phone ... hating it!!
Hate the curved screen hate Bixby design faults...
Won't buy Samsung again .... very dissppointed

Excellent
The programming used by the manufacturer makes it easy to use and understand, camera is clear, having 3 security options is excellent, this being your finger print and facial recognition let alone the password, yes you have to remember which finger you used to set it up and the facial expression used and the password used but other than that it is awesome, thanks

Happy
Best Phone I have ever used it has great sound and a awesome camara and with 6 rams
The phone is super fast with no slow experience.
Lots of storage with external sd card facility up to 256GB including 64-128GB as well.
The big infinity display is best for watching videos on the phone like Netflix foxtel or catch up tv. The s.pen is great and after watching a lot of hints and tricks on YouTube I was a pro at using the s.pen. I would give it 9 out of 10.

How can you disable "moisture detected" error? Absolute rubbish feature as the phone charges fine, frustrating that the phone needs to switch off with cable inserted and switched on and wait for software to load.
