We bought this heater 8 months ago. It has a very bright blue light that flashes until the heater reaches the 'right temperature' - which it has only reached once since we have owned it - at which point the light continues be illuminated. There is no way to switch off the light; it is bright, very distracting and will require taping up. You cannot use the fan until it reaches the 'right temperature' - a very very very terrible feature. If, on the rare occasion the fan does switch on, it switches off when you open the door and will not turn on for 20 - 40 minutes.

Do not buy this heater if you are looking for a wood heater with a fan. So very disappointed.
