Does Not Last! Poor Quality!
The Sealy Exquisite I purchased from Myer in 2018 did not last after only using it for about 8 months. The mattress foam already softened, and lost support on a very firm spring system so I was waking with back and shoulder aches and pains that caused me sciatica. I always rotated the mattress as instructed, and I am only 80kg! I would hate to think what a heavier person would go through on a mattress like this. ts the mattress was always arrogant, and they treat you like there is something wrong with you, and not the inferior product they overprice into the many thousands of dollars to customers. I was fortunate that I got this inspection for free despite Sealy wanting the usual money to inspect your mattress. In the end, I was not going to put up with expensive garbage any further, and dished it for a lovely Koala mattress. Sealy, like many big name mattress brands will openly dish the Mattress In A Box industry. The salespeople will say: "They don't last", however my Koala mattress gives me no issues, and cost me about quarter of what the Sealy mattress cost me. I had my Koala mattress for 2 years now, and sleeping well with the mattress still feeling supportive and comfortable the like the day I purchased it.Similar opinion? Sealy Posturepedic has caused us terrible back pain!
We purchased a Sealy Posturepedic mattress in a firm feel. Within a year it was causing back pain for both me and my partner and there was noticeable sag. We called Sealy and organised for a warranty inspection. The guys that inspected it told us that the sag was below the 32mm required amount for a warranty claim. They told us that this happened all the time with the mattresses with pillow top and that essentially despite buying a firm mattress, because of the comfort layer, it was really a soft mattress and better for the elderly! ly no one told us that when purchasing. You would think when you say you want a firm mattress you would not be sold one that is considered soft. Total false advertising!!! Our only option was to opt for the comfort adjustment to the super firm. That was much better for the first 3 months, but then it has started to sag (again not more than the required 32mm) but it causes us both extreme back pain. You can feel various places in the mattress when there are dips. When they changed it to the super firm they said there had been some defective parts that they had replaced. I question whether there are bigger issues that were always present. Form reading other reviews it sounds like Sealy has just dropped the ball on their level of quality. We are now faced with throwing out a $2.5k mattress we've only had a couple of year and spending more money to buy something else. So frustrating and really unacceptable! NEVER BUYING SEALY AGAIN!Purchased in June 2021 at Harvey Norman for A$2,500.00.

Does everyone that has made a review on the mattress have the matching exquisite base .
I purchased the mattresses from 40 winks Cairns in February. The sales person told me that it doesn't matter what base you put the expensive mattress on . However the mattress feels uneven and lower on one side. I'm only a small person. You cannot sleep in the middle of the bed because it is raised higher than both sides. If you put the mattress on the floor the mattress is amazing . I have the matching base arriving tomorrow and I hope it improves my situation as I if it doesn't work I'll just have to put the mattress on the floor

The best sleep I've had in years
- The mattress is very comfortable and is incredibly supportive in both back and sides
- Since sleeping on this mattress, I have noticed a considerable decrease in my back pain
- I have found myself to be sleeping longer and deeper on this bed
- I have noticed no sagging whilst sleeping on it these last few months and find it to still be as firm and supportive as the first night I slept on it.
I absolutely love this bed and cannot reccommend it enough!

Painful
Purchased the plush 17mth ago, saved long time to purchase good quality mattress, started suffering with painful back aching not long after purchase, no matter which way slept, not till recently slept on different mattress that I had no aches, pain at all, discovered it was the highly expensive Sealy exquisite mattress causing it. Did more research, mine discontinued already & found this review, “Depending on your body shape, it may not provide enough spinal support for most” feel myself it was falsely named & sold as a posturepedic when not supportive to most people. I haven't slept this well in a long time!
My new mattress is wonderful. I have mild lower back and neck issues and the combined support and comfort are terrific. I am sleeping through the night regularly and not disturbing my partner when I turn.

We have been a sealy customer for many years and we are now onto our 3rd mattress. I noticed a couple of mths ago a spring was protruding from our mattress, however it took me while to ring and organise a repair. However I now wish I didn't take so long. Sealy were onto it instantly, with 48 hours of calling Brett had come and taken my mattress away early in the morning, and had it back in my house later that afternoon after lunch. Like sleeping on a cloud
We purchased our sealy mattress a few weeks ago and have found the bed to be a joy to sleep on. The top layer was soft yet supportive and felt like sleeping on a cloud. Compared to the latex mattress we had the Sealy was extremely comfortable and cool to lay on.

Very comfortable but! Think 3 times before purchasing.
After sleeping on another mattress on which I overheated each night we decided to buy the Sealy Exquisite after undertaking the which mattress questions on the website. The mattress is very comfortable and I do not overheat. Its also light so I can now change the bedding once again!! BUT we have only had the mattress for 10 weeks, (and it has been turned) and already there are great big hollows on each side with a BIG bump in the middle. Not sure it was worth the money. We threw out an old Sealy when we got this and it was still in perfect condition, quality has deteriorated. I would think twice before buying this mattress.

Pretty good sleeping
I had another brand "chiropractic accredited" mattress for many years. It was awesome but I kept it SIGNIFICANTLY past the use by date. Recently have had expected back aches when I got up in the morning and my deep sleep was non existent. Have had the Sealy Exquisite for a few months now and, after the initial settling in time, it has proven to be a correct purchase. I have no aches and my sleep is pretty much to what I'd think was normal. I wake in the morning feeling I've had a sleep.
In terms of comfort it has aligned it's shape and supported my posture .
Overall I'm happy with my purchase

We purchased a Sealy Exquisite Soho queen mattress in 2014 and within a year it had a big lump in the middle of the bed across the width way (lower back). We called Sealy and they sent 'bed specialists' to look at the mattress, who informed us that the lump was due to the mattress being on slats and as soon as it was on a flat bottom that it would flatten out over a few months. Don't buy it if you're a side sleeper- Sealy not what they used to be it seems
A very expensive mistake! We bought this from Forty Winks, Aspley around 4 months ago - we did their in-store computer test thingy to find the best mattress for your sleeping style and this was one of the recommendations that came up.
It felt pretty good in the store and we got the medium. I knew that ours would be firmer, being new and not having been tested by bodies, but the first morning I woke up and had a numb foot and pain in both my hip and shoulder. Eventually I got Sealy to come and have a look to make sure it wasn't actually defective, as it was so ridiculously uncomfortable but they said there wasn't anything wrong with it. My husband was having similar issues although only in his shoulder. Two months later it was no better; every day I was waking up in the middle of the night with numbness down my side and in the morning getting up like feeling 100 years old and having to take anti-inflammatories to get through the day as well as visit the oesteopath regularly for the pain. Eventually I called the store and they said to come in and chat. We did and were told there were two options, we could pay for an adjustment ($700 and no guarantees from Sealy it would be any better) or get a bed topper for $300. We chose the latter and, like the mattress itself, it was a total waste of money, the bed is no better. I've just returned from a 2 week holiday sleeping on a 15-year old mattress on a tiled floor (a Sealy ironically) and had a perfect night sleep every night. My first night back on our bed and this morning I've had to throw back the voltaren so I can work (I work on a computer 8 hrs per day).1 comment

Very comfortable
I bought this mattress recently and was very happy with the delivery and financial arrangements.
I have only had it a short time and have found it very comfortable. It has improved the quality of my sleep.
I bought it from 40 Winks however I do not know if I got a good deal or not as all the stores put different names on their Sealy mattresses making it impossible to comparison shop. Also there is no way to identify financial value of added features. It is difficult to not feel duped. I wanted to feel confident in a large expensive purchase but I dont feel that.

Perfect to dump it and dumped after approx 6 months
The worst mattress purchased and I have already dumped it for $500 mattress which does a better job. Every morning woke up with back aches lost it’s firmness in just few months. Save your money and don’t purchase this trash.

ok sealy mattress queen size 3 years now honesty like memory foam gets really hot like a electric blanket if u cold u hot quick as normal bought it in dandenong had it 4 years been good till now its crap sinking a lot also flat now but mattress dont last long even warranty 10 years would I buy again as we paid $1300 no never again why because there not built to last and buy from a store is always great but look Ebay now selling beds cheaper no over heads and reviews are great this my second mattress sealy and last some have great reviews some dont but mine was ok till this year also no such thin if someone wakes up next to u dont wake up u move or get up, thats not true do u home work in buying a mattress

Owned an expensive latex mattress that left me feeling very hot during the night. Purchased a Sealy Posturepedic Mattress Exquisite Collection from Myers and couldn't be happier. I paid $3800 for a you beaut back support Sealy Posturepedic mattress from Harvey Norman (With the best Australian warranty 10yrs). It was fine for a couple of years then stopped doing its job and sank more on the side i slept on. Called Sealy and was told i have to pay $50 call out fee and if there is any stains on it a further $240 plus for a replacement pillow top.
