Did THE swap and won't look back.
Yes I owned a Dyson stick vacuum. Was it perfect? Not quite even though it was great. Is the Shark better? Yes.
Why? In one word - versatility. The Shark can be operated in various configurations which makes the job of cleaning much simpler. And of course it comes with a bunch of tools.
We recently switched to hard wood floors. At this time, the Dyson was pushing and flicking debris around, the battery was dying, and the plastic housing had loosened causing the machine to lose suction. So it was time to research another cleaner. I'm glad I f...Read more
ound the Shark. It does exactly what the Dyson does but more. PROS: It has 2 rollers: a plush one at the front that grabs all dust and debris, and a brush roller behind it. The clean achievable is quite incredible with this machine. We find it actually 'polishes' the boards to a nice shine.Purchased in January 2021 at eBay for A$479.00.

Great vacuum, but poor battery life
This is a new model. Overall, I am very satisfied with it. It is easy to use, performs multiple tasks, is quiet, light and does an excellent job. My only gripe is the battery life. The manufacturer and call centre staff claim that it will perform 50 minutes on a single charge. Not true, 30 minutes is the best that I am able to get out of it. You will need to purchase a spare battery if you have a big house. That said, it is still an excellent vacuum cleaner.

Which is the latest Shark cordless stick vacuum?
3 answers
Hi, When I purchased it in November I believe it was the latest model. Chris
In case you're thinking they are like Dyson with the V6,7,8,9,10 and 11, I don't think Shark are like that. I purchased the IC160 from Myer online and it's the best cordless vacuum I've owned - BY A LONG WAY.
Thank you. It's more pricey than their other models.
