I have just purchased and received the Smeg DWAI6314X dishwasher but the Aquastop is so large it won’t fit into existing hole that connects to the cupboard beside the dishwasher where the water supply is.
Is there a way I can disconnect the water supply connection from the back of the dishwasher so I can fit the hose into the hole between the cupboards this way? Or can I unscrew the Aquastop from the hose so I can feed the hose into the hole this way?
I would rather not have to make the hole larger that connects between the cupboards.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Adam H.
Unfortunately you can't disconnect the hose from the back of the machine as it has electrical cabling through it which activates the Acquastop system. If you tamper with it, it will void your warranty as we can't guarantee the machine won't flood if it malfunctions.
