Dodgy As!!!
I bought glasses from sneaking Duck back in 2016. In 2018 I contacted them to find out if they could supply me with new glasses. I was told then that they had temporarily stopped supplying glasses. When I saw the name pop up in 2022, I thought great! Here is a company I have dealt with before and was very happy with. Well, THAT operator of Sneaking Duck is NOT the CURRENT operator of Sneaking Duck. It seems (as per my receipt for purchase) is Optically.com.au Another dodgy business I have had the misfortune to deal with. I placed an order for...Read more
prescription glasses on 15th August 2022. I was charged $430 on 16th August. The one and ONLY email from Sneaking Duck was on the 16th of August saying they would make my glasses even though the cylinder was stronger than what their website was capable of entering (I didn't enter my prescription, I attached it as an email). I have emailed numerous times asking for a delivery date and have been totally ignored. On Saturday 28th August, I emailed AGAIN saying I had found out the business was actually Optically.com.au and that if I didn't receive a response from them by Monday afternoon, I would be raising a dispute with my bank. I waited until this morning (Wednesday 4th of September 2022) and have done just that. The matter is now in dispute between my bank and theirs. I feel really stupid because I checked product review as saw no reviews, but thought, okay, they suspended for a while, so the reviews they had, had dropped off because of time. My bad. DO NOT use this Company! UPDATE: And as if on queue, as soon as I contacted my Bank about a disputed transaction, the very next day I receive notification from Australia Post saying my parcel from Sneaking Duck was on its way. The glasses arrived on Friday 6th of September. I am STILL YET to hear ANYTHING from Sneaking Duck.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
