Not Complicated
The most easy to use Smart Phone Ive had next to the Samsung Note. I was due to update my contract, didn't want to go with Apple and the new Note wasnt out yet so I went with the Sony Xperia. It's sleek, bright, thin enough to keep in your purse. The only thing that is a little annoying is trying to find the unlock/activation button in a hurry (its on the side) and this is from being used to a central front button. I like Sony products as a whole, so more than happy with this phone.

Good, dependable phone
Owned since April 2018. Pretty good performer so far. The camera is high quality, though the slo-motion capability is a bit of a gimmick. No issues so far. I was going to buy an LG, but JB Hi Fi convinced me to buy the Sony based on its superior build. No regrets at this stage.

Very good phone but...
I am fond of Sony phones, they are advanced, functional and stylish. The last one I had was and M4 Acqua and besides it's memory issues it functioned quite well. This new one does as well. However when the screen cracked I found it was not just replacing the glass but the whole screen had to be replaced. Perhaps this issue is something I should have looked into but the replacement screen has a trouble with its near field sensor and then issues with the phone started again. So although it is a great phone and functions well it has some drawbacks...Read more
which are not deal breakers. December 5th 2018 Update: Good phone, just an issue or two. This phone is fairly great. The camera is excellent, the memory, screen and the life of the battery are all above expectation. However there is one drawback. When you cracked the glass it is the whole screen that is replaced. No cheap task, almost half the cost of the full phone. The last Sony I used had memory and storage issues. I am going to thourghly research my next phone, it seems there is always a sizable issue.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
A very slick phone
This is a great phone, very slick, it feels smooth in the hands... It has some great features, a great camera, and a very nice screen... On the whole, it's as good as any other marque phone... But a few niggling things about it;
1) The auto-rotate is way too sensitive, and occasionally even gets stuck in landscape mode.
2) The screen is sometimes un-responsive to touch inputs.
3) The front-facing speakers, although a great concept, are just nowhere near loud enough...
The good;
1) The extra bezels are such a great thing to have, as it m...Read more

Excellent Sony Phone AMAZING CAMERA
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium is an amazing phone it is stylish, you will find most mobile stores recommend this model of the Xperia mobiles as the Camera at 21mp takes amazing photographs and the Sony UI is a pleasure to use. You can play games comfortably on it without lag due to the Snapdragon processor and the battery life is unbelievable it will slow charge over night and leave you with a complete day of use. It is purely an incredible phone.

Excellent phone.
This phone is great. It has a bright screen, easy to use, you can personalise using different home screens downloaded from Google Play. It is strong but it is slippery. It has slipped off varying surfaces without being touched and unfortunately the last time was onto bitumen which cracked the to corner of the screen. It is still fully usable except under water. If you want a phone that is not Samsung or iPhone then get one of these.

Hopefully I'll be able to use this for a good 5 years.
After 4 or so years with my old HTC One M7, it was time for a change. I chose this phone because of the snapdragon processor and battery life above all else (and it comes in pink!) and I'm a fan of all the other attributes. I didn't know a fingerprint scanner was so convenient until I set it up! It's still snappy, and the screen display is beautiful. I think it will be a good phone for a long time.

Love this phone!
I've always been a fan of the Sony Xperia series and been waiting to upgrade my Xperia Aqua M4 to another Xperia model. The camera is great, so much better than the M4 and I can now finally take great photos without hulking around a giant camera. The only downside I have with the XZ Premium is the size of it. It's slim and a great design but it's quite big, bigger than my previous phone so using the keyboard with one hand is a little bit trickier unless you have bigger hands.

excellent camera and music performance
excellent camera which has more fun too play around and sound quality is very very good, with long battery support.not like other phone-operation is fast along with battery drainage is also fast too.
Screen clarity it is claimed itself 4k, indeed it is clear event zoom but not really shocking. of course, if compare to iphone 5 or galaxy 7, it is amazing.

Awesome Phone
This phone really is awesome, the screen is one of the best you can get on a smart phone (may even be the best), its full 4K and its beautiful, I love the fact that the battery life is great too, ive tried other phones Samsung, LG etc and this just feels better than them all. Highly recommend.

Incredible improvement on previous Xperia devices!
Compared to the two previous Xperia phones I've had (z3 & z5) this is definitely the wanted improved upgrade.
The battery life is finally something to be happy about and will last a good day and a half with minimal usage. The battery temperature issue in older versions seems to also have been fixed. 3 hours of continuous usage and it has yet to overheat on me.
It comes with all the usual loved features of Sony devices but it's improved phenomenonly. Nothing negative to say !

Sharp screen and amazing camera!
Perfect size for everyday use, photo quality still blows my mind after 6 months and the 4K display is a dream. Snappy processor, plenty of RAM and friendly user interface with an accurate fingerprint ID unlock feature.
Recommended for anyone who values a quality product.
Cons: Needs wireless charging option desperately but still functional without.

Excellent Phone
Phone looks amazing. Very fast and responsive. Great 4K screen and fingerprint sensor works very well. The bezels don't bother me at all (I actually hate the design of bezeless phones), but some might find them a bit big. A Tad expensive for the price, but can easily find a good price in a sale.

Pretty good
Outdated design and disappointing camera but everything else is great. I mean, Sony products have always been of a certain good quality and the price tag definitely reflects that but I think it's worth it. Looks quite professional too. Even though photo quality could be a lot better like in the dark, I absolutely love that there is a dedicated camera button

Upgraded from a Z3. Love it.
Upgraded from a Sony Xperia Z3 and couldn't be happier.
It still maintains the same classic Xperia design (which I love), and also keeps the camera button which is absent on the majority of phones.
The screen is great, the camera is great.
Smooth operation of phone owing to the nice amount of RAM and new processor.
As usual, Sony's interpretation of Android has little bloatware and is a pleasure to operate.

good4k hdr display, bright screen and can go very dim at night. Do wish the monitor could be like the new s8's aspect ratio. fast finger print senser.
con: missing wireless charging, sony has been making phone with glass back since ages ago but why not add wireless charging?!
no OIS on camera but the EIS works like a charm

OUTSTANDING Phone. Blows all the others away
This is my third Sony mobile phone and this one is, put quite simply, a spaceship.
It has more RAM, bigger battery, more processing power and a superior display that sets it far ahead of anything else Sony has ever produced and well ahead of most of its competitors.
The XZ Premium features a 4K display, the first mobile phone in the world to have such and the clarity has to be seen to be believed.
Additionally the phone updates to Android 8.0 which has significant smart new features particularly in the world of saving power. I can easily go...Read more

Tremendous 4k screen smartphone running the latest Oreo 8.0 OS
Sony's flagship smartphone ticks all the boxes for me. It has class leading 4k hdr screen capability, it runs the latest Oreo 8.0 operating system, with 4gb ram is one fast fone to use. The camera has some real options with super slo-mo 960fps, and I love the burst function, where you can press and hold the shutter button and rapid fire capture up to 100 frames in a few seconds, great for kids on the move. The 3D creator app is unique, and is a lot of fun, but is not something I'll be using a lot. I like shooting 4k video, and enjoy the 4k playback in a fone! Easy to use, and a fun fone, the XZ premium is a good choice, for photos, sound and screen.

I've now had this phone for over a year and still think it's fantastic.
Just recently Sony updated the software to Android 9, and it's even better!
This is a great phone, as have all my Sony phones been in the past.
