Online order
Terrible online service, lady on the phone had no phone etiquette either.
I ordered items online that were dispatched late from the store, when I question why they couldn’t give me a proper answer and was told to lodge a complaint instead if I’m not happy.
How will lodging a complaint get me my items on time???
Won’t be shopping on spotlight online store ever again!

Bad customer service
Told A maximum of 6 weeks for Curtin’s, now 10 weeks later and have paid in full but still no confirmed date. Ask for updates but still no response, shocking customer service.

Great Service

Poor online service
I ordered some towels for our wedding which confirmed were in stock online and would be with me within 3 - 5 business days. 5 business days later and no towels. 7 business days later and half my order turned up, with no explanation as to where the other half of my order was. No email to confirm that other half are on their way. ng me that the 3 - 5 business days is only a guide. Which I have to add does not state on the return email you get after purchase, it states will be with you in 3 - 5 business days. If my items are going to be late, that is fine, but tell me! 15 business days later and still my other half of the items had not turned up, on the 17th day from the date of ordering they appeared. I wrote an email to Spotlight Customer Service which sent me an auto reply confirming they would be in touch within 48 hours, we are now at 5 business days and still no reply from them. I love the products I have been sent and I am very happy with them, but Spotlight your online ordering and rude customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. Take a look at your online reviews to understand that it is not a good service you are offering and you will loose customers as we can get our items elsewhere! Your advertising of delivery is incorrect and you are providing your customers with false information on what service you can offer.

Order not sent in full and incorrect items sent
Just took delivery of an order. Ordered 2 bath sheets, 3 hand towels and 1 bath mat. 1 bath sheet was missing and the bath mat was incorrect. Not sure who is picking their orders, maybe they need to learn to read first, can’t see it being a hard job?? Contacted customer care, they are not overly polite or apologetic. Their online business must be bleeding money given the other reviews on this site. Maybe they need to look at employing competent team members as a first step, and even better get afterpay in store.

Sardinia Stripe quilt cover set, single
I ordered this single quilt cover set just over a week ago. The set is 100% cotton and looks to be of reasonable quality.
HOWEVER, not anywhere was there advice that the quilt cover and the pillowcase are backed with plain white fabric, with the stripes on one side only. MOREOVER the photo on the front of the quilt pack shows what appears to be the reverse of the quilt in the same striped fabric, not plain white. Terrible service never using their online store again
I’ve been a long time customer of spotlights brick and mortar stores up until recently when I used their online store to make what I thought would’ve been a hassle free purchase. Contacted customer service to no real help and I’m still waiting to hear back after many days. Really disappointed.

Awful customer service do not waste your time
I made an online order 3 months ago. i am still waiting for all of the items from my order. Multiple phone calls every time i call it's like it's the first time that i have. Once they finally acknowledged that they hadn't sent all of my items, i thought this would be rectified, however they have now sent me the wrong items and although they advised they will now send out the correct one, they expect me to visit one of their stores to return the incorrect item. Emailed them a few times to make a complaint, no response. It's like they simply do not care that their service is terrible. Waste of time purchasing online which i thought would save me some hassle, just go to a store.

Poor communication
Ordered 4 towels online and initially was charged for 4. Then received notification that I was being refunded for three. Why was I not asked if 1 towel was what I wanted when I ordered 4. I was also charged the full postage which is the same for 4 towels as 1? I should have been given the option of cancelling the complete order. Sent a message to the online site and am still waiting for an answer from them. Dreadful communication issues!!!!

Customer service representative was useless and company had no interest in resolving their defective product.
Had to talk customer service rep through the issue (product was missing parts) 3 times after which she was unable even offer a suggestion of how to resolve the problem...dead air on the line till I prompted by asking how the defective product would be replaced or refunded. Rep suggested going instore...but when I pressed further for stock check to ensure I wasn't travelling for no reason she couldn't even conform availability. Also was unable to process a refund or organise sending a replacement product. Will NEVER shop spotlight again. So many better options out there that are cheaper, better quality, and employ people who are not dimwitted.

Only Partial of my Order was delivered and then x1 was faulty!
Placed a order on Monday 6/1/2020 2-5 day delivery... Got my delivery today Thurs 9/1/2020 only to discover only 1/2 of my order arrived (I ordered x6 Chair Cushions) only got x3 delivered. On closer inspection, one of the Cushions was faulty! I ordered online as they were not available instore. Clearly, no call to say they were still trying to source the remainder of my order from another warehouse and obviously no quality control when packing order or the faulty item would have been picked up. Terrible customer service
Half my curtain order was sent to the wrong customer and I received his order. Contacted spotlight and was told that they’d heard from the customer who received my curtains and spotlight would send them in to me. In the meantime, they’ve cancelled my order, sent me one pair of curtains instead of 4 and don’t have the other 3 pair to send to me because they’ve obviously sold them to someone else. Will never shop with spotlight again

Don't use
Paid spotlight online through afterpay for a sewing machine week a machine 22/12 and told 2-5 delivery. 9 days later no contact from them machine fully paid by afterpay and payments still having to be made understandably to afterpay. Tried to call left waiting over half an hour. At an absolute dead end. VIP will not use again.

Broken items received
So i ordered a bean bag and 4 bags of bean bag fill. Took a while to arrive. Bean bag cover ripped zip doesnt work clearly opened packaging ripped and stuffed back in. Opened today on xmas day to find zip doesnt work. Fill bags were tapped to packaging so holes all through them. No response by spotlight to message. Will return tommorrow for refund will never order from them again.

I love spotlight but expensive
I love spotlight stores and their online stores, I recently bought curtains for my bedroom and a sewing machine, cant live without this sewing machine, it was on special, they have great deals sometimes, I'm always looking for a bargain so beat time to shop there is when they have big sales each year. Only downfall is postage when buying online and in stores they can be expensive.

Terrible customer service
The customer service was disrespectful and rude. After sizing it incorrectly, twice, and sending it to the wrong store they finally arrived three months after ordering.
The installer was rude and refused to take his shoes off after being asked to. He was also disrespectful when moving things aside to install. He had to take one back and cut it down in size as it was still the wrong size.
The blinds were meant to sit against the wall but didn't so he just rolled them the other way. Not very professional.
The whole experience was horrible and I would definitely not recommend them at all.

I never write a positive review for anyone because I am normally angry with stores online and write bad reviews. But spotlight done the right thing without even asking. A dinner set came & 2 plates were damaged, I politely emailed them to let them know of the damage and without asking they automatically sent out another dinner set without me even having to return the other. I have been shopping with them for years and I have bought various items and done most of my house with their products! They deserve a good review because they are customer focused in the online store!! Thanks spotlight!!! Xx

Slow shipping
It's been two weeks and haven't yet recieved one of three items i ordered. The other two items, both very low value, arrived in separate packages, all of which need a signature, meaning multiple post office trips. Just not worth the trouble or the wait.
