Garbage
Straight to the scrap heap! First use out of the box, first a smell, then smoke, then stopped. This was just making a banana smoothie. Don't waste your money!

I can’t believe this!!
The most important thing for the whole blender, the attachment to the motor is actually made with a cheap piece of plastic and thin as? And they expect this will last more than 2 seconds? It broke straight away!! All I can say is… wow… the brain behind this… a 5 year old kid’s work. What a joke!

Worst appliance ever!
I have only had the blender for 3 weeks and have used it twice.The plastic gear under the blades broke 2nd time it was used. Very poor quality, a waste of money.
Purchased in at Harvey Norman.

Rubbish
Congratulations to the design team. They make it, a blender that last a single year exactly. As soon warranty run off the bldenr fails. First damage the connector to the cup got destroyed because of the low quality desing. After two weeks of replacing the part . The electronic controller burn leaving the blender as bin decoration.

Broke within 1 month
The machine blended fine while it worked, however, after one month of use the part that grips onto the internal blades to spin it broke off.
Saw the reviews weren't great and hoped I'd have better luck than them, but it's just not a well made machine

So fast and easy to clean
I love the speed of the blender, it is powerful and so quickto blend really evenly. Also the glass just screws open which makes cleaning the blades really easy. I love it!

Amazing Blender!
I bought this mainly for making frozen cocktails but will probably use it for more now after reading some of the recipe suggestions. Super easy to use and clean and it doesn't hurt that it looks good so happy to leave it out on my bench. Would definitely recommend!

The Sunbeam Ice Breaker Blender is Perfect for a hot summer's day!
The Machine's ability to crush ice was phenomenal and so quick and easy, and anything I placed into the blender was liquified so easily. The thing I also like about it, is it's easy to clean and there aren't a whole lot of parts to clean. Overall, I think the blender is no nonsense and I will continue to use it for soups as well as smoothies and shakes.

This is an excellent machine. Perfect for summer.
We love smoothies, cold soups such as gazpacho and ice coctails. With the Sunbeam Ice Breaker Blender these can be made effortlessly. It is of excellent build quality, easy to operate and clean and comes with good simple instructions. They have also included some interesting receipes. It looks just great in the kitchen too.

How do I unscrew the blades.. I have done what it says in the book but the ingredient cap does not fit?
Hi Sam,
If you put on machine & grab the handle & twist adding some weight & some force you should be able to get it in let me know if this helps you. Our previous model used to unscrew but the newer model doesn't unfortunately.

Well I must say I am very disappointed in this product if you can not take blades out to clean. I got this blender as a gift and have only had it 6 months. It will now be going in the bin as I can't clean it.. no more sunbeam products for me again.
can you put hot food in this blender?

From the product manual it states- Do not process hot/warm liquids in your blender. Allow to cool to room temperature before blending.
