I brought my son a JR80 as an upgrade to a full clutch motorbike. He has had it since he was 7 (He's now 9) and has ridden it as hard as he could, It has never failed and he learned to operate a clutch easily on it. With my help he is able to service it after each ride himself due to the easily accessed parts of the motor.
The Suzuki JR80 is an excellent first bike and I would recommend it to anyone.

It needs to be able to be upgraded with faster parts. I have looked around and can't seem to find any

my son has had this bike for 4 years and not 1 thing has gone wrong with it (and he rides it hard). he is 12 now and is getting a bit big for it.is an excellent bike for the average rider who doesn't wont to race.
great reliability, easy to ride great step up to a bike with 5 gears and a clutch.
suspensions a bit stiff on the rear and soft in the forks.
