I have connected headphones through the headphone jack, and one set through the digital sound jack, these are Sennheiser headphones that wirelessly pair with a base station each. I hope I am not super dumb but now we do not have any sound from the TV, I had tried disconnecting the headphones completely from the TV inputs, turning the headphones off but still nothing, I have (hopefully) been through all the settings for sound but nothing seems to work. Help!!!!!

My tv doesnt start. It continues to show swirling circles on a black screen with no further access. I am already disgusted with this product. Do you have aa fix for it? So far, I have tried everything, from turning power off to removing every single cabel with no avail whatsoever. I bought it about 5 months ago, and it has been giving me trouble ever since. Can you suggest anything at all?

1. Check out the Whirlpool Forums thread "TCL - UHD & QUHD 4K - Android TV Range - 2017"
2. Warranty claim - I'd get a refund and buy another brand instead of TCL POS

My tv keeps switching to shop mode although we got it in the box (wasn’t the ship display). Also the USB selection doesn’t appear when moving through the sources and we have to take it out and put it back in to activate. Any suggestions?

Hi there.

Mine was doing the same thing even thought mine was fresh out of the box.

Call TCL, there staff are amazing and they will email you a update file and instructions on how to update the TV. Please let them know that you wish to get the update as the “shop reset” didn’t work. If they don’t wish to give it to you, send me your email and I’ll forward the email they sent me.

This actually fixes everything with the TV. You will still get the prompts for sleep mode which is just a message that comes up to make sure your using your TV. This will only happen if you don’t use the remote for a few hours. We get this message cause we have our PC linked to ours and as such, once the TV is on we don’t have to touch the remote again. I actually appreciate the feature as the kids turn the TV on then walk away.

How this helps.

I found that pressing the “okay” button as soon as I plugged a USB in would bring up the screen and I could then access what was on my USB. Hope that helps!

No I have searched a lot and found that they have clearly stated the HDR10 is only supported on USB, not HDMI port. unfortunately.

I have this TV connected to my xbox 1s. i don’t notice any lag or any ghosting. I’m not the keenest gamer but I did notice these issues with the Kogan TVs but not this one.

I have this model and I have not been able to connect to a Bluetooth device, keeps on searching until aborted. And the headphone output socket doesn't seem to work. Can anyone confirm if it's working on their unit or not?

It won't connect to blutooth without a dongle of some sort plugged into it, it will only connect to wifi.

I've just bought one and its the same. Cant use wireless headphones on it. Either by plugging into the mini jack or by bluetooth. Taking it back

I think the Bluetooth is more for a keyboard. I haven’t retired to connect any wireless headphone or anything but I connect to my Logitech wireless keyboard no issues.

It works pretty fast for me, the app store works fine although there is not a huge amount of apps there yet. I haven't had it slow down on me yet, plus it has proper android settings which allow you to clear cache etc.

I think the 65C2US has a very pleasing level of brightness. I have mine at factory settings and the luminance is just right to my eye. The colours are rich and skin tones are as natural as I've seen on a TV.
