Product do not last as expected and not repairable
We build a house on a package back in 2013 with a builder with good reputation. It comes with an (TECHNIKA OVEN T9411). With in few years this oven started playing up but to a point that we can live with until recently, the touch screen controller don't work anymore. I tried to source for the part from them but they confirmed they do not manufacture the part for this oven anymore as it is DISCONTINUED. to give a quote for a new oven =(. I believe this is unfair. I believe as a consumer we have the right for the guarantee of parts and repairs within the life expectancy of the product. The ATO depreciation schedule (2019) states that electric oven is expected to have at least 12 years of functional life. We only have this for 6+ years, base on ATO's oven life expectancy this is obviously covered by the the guarantee. But they would not agree to that. This is really BAD. I wonder how many people who have no knowledge of their consumer rights are getting RIP-OFF. I am currently going through the right process to resolve this issue before filing a complaint. I got my builder involve to this matter since I bought this product them directly. With their help, they managed to get Technika agreed for a replacement but I have to pay 455.60$ and pay the installation and resizing of cavity if needed. I completely disagree to this for two reasons: 1. It is unfair that they waited for me to get my builder involve before agreeing for a replacement. 2. I already spent 190$ for the technician and a day off from work plus the time spend researching about my consumer rights.

Poor workmanship
Dishwasher 4 years old . Bottom basket looks like been in saltwater the whole time .Very poor coating of plastic over metal frame.Not covered by warranty, even though it is manufacturers fault

Worst and cheap product, worst service and support
My builder recommended this product and installed as per building contract. Within 15 months my dishwasher started to make so many issues. Drain pump was not pumping out water and some element leaked and damaged the motherboard. I have been waiting for 4 weeks now and still nothing fixed. They send service person 10 days after i complained about the issue, and service man not able to fix the problem and he said he will be sending someone else with spare parts and after 2 weeks they booked the appointment, and on appointment day they called me ...Read more
and said they have to reschedule the appointment as technician is too busy, and forcing me to push appointment 1 more week later. I really don't know what kind of customer service is that. I have send so many email requesting replacement product as because important parts in dishwasher are spoiled and i have no trust on their product but they are simply ignorant and the way they response to the customer is very silly and lethargic way, sounds like "who give a [Word Removed] about customer". My advice to the consumer, please don't purchase any product from Technika as their products are very cheap and worst material, rather you can invest $50 or $100 any other good brand and have peaceful life. It is just waste of money and energy. I have seen lots of reviews about their products but still gone with my builder's recommendation, and now i am seriously regretting that i made a mistake and wasted couple of thousand dollars on their crap product. Technika bellissimo is peace of crap.

Crap appliances - don’t waste your money
Seriously unhappy with our Technika dishwasher, stove top and oven. Currently our dishwasher has been broken for the last 4+ weeks and we are waiting for Technika to supply the electrician with the parts. The dishwasher is only 18 months old. Also the top drawer has broken several times and is very flimsy. The oven is insanely loud and takes hours for the fan to cool it down. And the stove top knobs get stuck on and you aren’t able to turn the flame off. Only have the products because it’s what the builder was offering. Would not purchase any of their products again.

Worst products and customer service!
Hi i usually don't like to post staff like this but im at this point getting very disappointed with the company we purchased display house and our dishwasher is faulty and company sent me 4 times service and they couldn't fix the problem and they scratched my floorboards and i didn't even complain about that but now i been try to contact customer service manager and they never returned my calls apparently i have approve for change this dishwasher but no one still didn't give any information about that its been 1 week from my last call still no ...Read more

*Very Disappointing* Technika customer service and support
Purchased a slide in and out rangehood with our new home (via Porter Davis Homes). The filters are flimsy, bend easily and all tabs broke off. I contacted “Technika” (several times) requesting a replacement (or resolution) but did not wish to pay $100 (which they expect that I pay) for the same ones (since they were poor quality) and asked if there were better quality ones or what they could offer for the same price. ith no resolution or customer service whatsoever) she sent me a lazy email to explain my request was rejected by management. Atm, my rangehood is currently being held up and supported by toothpicks because I refuse to pay $100 for the same poor quality ones I already have. Technika are not interested in picking up the phone to speak to you, they do not provide customer service support at all and their products are very poorly made. I would not recommend this company for any appliances and would invest a bit more money in better brands. Porter Davis were equally as bad with resolving this matter.Similar opinion? Technika Free Standing Oven & Integrated Dishwasher
We put in a Technika 900mm Free standing Oven and two dishwashers in our new home and could not be happier. Besides the fact that they are Australian, their pricing is very competitive. The free standing oven is very quiet and cooks all my food evenly. My stainless steel integrated dishwashers, were a reasonable price which allowed me to install two in my kitchen which is great for large family events. Once we moved in l contacted them to register and confirm warranties, the customer service was very polite and helpful...... absolutely love these product!

Oven only lasted 2 years and 40 days - Warranty requests don't bother.
The oven only lasted 2 years and 40 days with 2 service calls for service repairs, I was not covered by 40 days for a fan that was completely destroyed in the housing. Save your money ($3500) and buy something that will last.

Refuse their warranty obligations
I would advise everyone to refrain from installing technika appliances in the house. Forget about warranty - they will use any absurd reason to cancel your warranty. My expensive built-in microwave/oven died after 9 month and after few days of emailing/calling they refused to fix it. After checking by 3rd party professional technician I got conclusion that it is poorly Chinese manufactured crap that is not worth of repair..

Don't expect warranty or customer service
I have recently been in contact with Technika trying to claim on the manufacturer warranty. I was referred to the manufacturer as the item is 13 months old and no longer covered by them. Technika's customer service has been extremely lacking. Very dismissive and abrupt, failure to answer questions and then they ask me when would I like to book a technician- at my cost. There excuses for refusal of warranty are flimsy at best (much like the ovens hinges) One being that the oven was not supplied with damaged hinges. Nothing gets past these people. I am thoroughly disgusted and disappointed that a Australian owned company would dismiss a claim so quickly and without care. Beware!

Great Aussie Owned Company
I seriously love supporting Australian owned companies and I was thrilled to learn that Technika falls into that category when purchasing my new appliances for my kitchen.
I did loads of research prior to purchasing my kitchen appliances and found Technika to tick all the boxes.
- Australian Owned and Operated
- Supports loads of local clubs and charities
- Australian Customer Call Lines (which means more employment to Aussies and not calling overseas)
- Great Product backed by their own service repair technicians
I would highly recommend as I have found their service and my experience to be of a high standard.

Top Notch Customer Service
I purchased quite a fair bit of appliances from Technika in 2010. I have found them to be very helpful and patient every time I have phoned them.
I needed manuals and a spare oven tray and they were able to deliver within 72 hours.
We were very impressed.

They support their customers
Rangehood purchased from eBay to match our other Technika products. Rangehood was almost out of warranty period and the fan starting making a funny noise. Technika service responded very quickly with great after sales support. Unit was fixed within 3 days of reporting the fault. Always happy to back an Australian company if i know the manufacture will support its customers.

Speedy customer service
My kitchen appliances came with my Porter Davis home almost 2 years ago. When I first moved in I didn't have the user manuals, with in the same hour I called to get copies of the manuals a customer service operator (Jess) emailed them to me. As my titled says speedy customer service.

I have dealt with Technika on a number occasions, I am a home cake maker so I require a fair amount of spare parts and general advice.
Every time I have phoned or emailed them they have been fantastic to deal with.
I like the fact that when I phone I get a real person on the line and not an automated message.
I find them to always be helpful and very knowledgeable with regards to their products.

Nice experiance
My wesinghouse oven died and my repairman recommended a Technika oven. Its been 3 years since installing and its brilliant. I recently phoned the company for where i can look at appliances in the Newcastle area in NSW, the gentleman i spoke to (Matt) was very helpful and pleasant. He sent me an email with the latest brochure and a list of stores and directions from my suburb. Nice experience and very informative.

Professional And Pleasant
I have been installing Technika appliances for the last 6 years. I found the quality and the modern edge design aspects are what I require to complete the building packages for my clientele. I found the staff in the showroom very easy and pleasant to deal with when selecting models for the particular style of home that I was building. Very professional and will recommend to others. Very Helpful
I phoned Technika 5 days ago to purchase some new oven trays and cutlery basket.
The lady I spoke to (Mel) was so friendly and so helpful.
She even arranged express delivery so I could have them in time for my dinner party I was hosting.
It was nice to phone a company and speak to real people and an automated machine.

Excellent friendly customer service
My home was built in 2011 and fitted with 6 of your products. I have called the service department to get assistance with using my appliances. Each time I called the call was answered with in 2-3minutes and each operator I spoke to actually sounded human (non scripted) I was given great tips and advice with help prolonging my appliances. I was also educated about the company while on hold and it's great to know that the company is Australian owned. If only all companies could make their customers feel like they matter like Technika made me feel. I will most definitely refer my friends and everyone that matters to me.

we have a bellisimo dishwasher that wont finish a cycle. last year the technician replaced all the inside computer parts at the top of the door as it wasn't working, now toward the end of the cycle the program buttons, little clock with 90 and glass and cup buttons continually flash and it wont stop flashing or finish cycle, we don't have a manual what does this mean please. Drain pump not working. I had same issue couple of months ago, if ur machine is still under warranty then u r covered( but still they will take a month to fix), if no warranty then it cost you$400 to $500 to fix it. So my suggestion is, if u r not under warranty, put this machine in rubbish and spend your money in buying good product.

I am looking to buy a replacement, dual fuel oven. Does anyone have one and can you tell me what it is like? Does the oven cook evenly? Do the hotplate burners have easily controlled flame settings? Is the fan noisy or quiet? Is the door easy to clean?
