Poaching orange segments on a very low simmering heat on my glass induction cooktop we heard an explosion and the lid of my Tefal heritage saucepan exploded all over the kitchen.

One year and one month old

Im fortunate none of my family or pets were in the environment.

This pan was bought in Myer Perth in November last year 2018. It has been used three times since purchase. It has been looked after, stored on a shelf by itself, hand washed and never put in the dishwasher.

I’m ex hospitality I treasure my kitchen cookware and appliances. Particularly the expensive ones.
