Purchased a commercial (battery-powered sprayer). Charged it, used it for 45 minutes, and it died. I recharged the battery until the charging light went green, and reinstalled the battery. Still dead. Recharged the battery again and found the green light showing, and also an alternating red (low power light). Took the item back to the counter after 3 days. Asked for a Warranty Replacement machine. Was told 'we are not Bunnings'! and that all warranties for these items are dealt with by the Distributor. This shop does not comply with Fair Trade requirements or Consumer protection. Absolutely appalling 'service'

Had a couple of experiences with Mower Supastore in Brendale as they’re my local supplier of Toro lawnmowers. I spoke to someone (I won’t mention names) on phone who was dismissive of meeting competitive prices and basically didn’t care if I bought the mower as he could charge as much as he wanted and sell it due to the limited number of zero turn mowers in supply atm.
I decided instead to drive 1 hr away to buy the mower and had a totally different experience. Normal prices, great service, lovely staff there.
Shop around people. It pays to get a good price, and you don’t always have to settle for aggressive sales people.

Very unhelpful staff. Advised it would take 18 working days to tell me how much it would cost to fix a fuel line on a basic whipper snipper. Hopeless. Wanted to buy the part and do myself but they had no interest and no advice. You go to a physical shop for customer service and advice. That is the supposed advantage. But it does not exist. I like to support local business but not in this case. No wonder people shop online

I’ve only been using my mower to mow the nature strip, not even a whole yard. I was happy with my 35 year old mower but time for a service. Lasted a few more mows before developing problems. Took it back - “unserviceable”!
Unhappily I bought a reconditioned mower from them, which lasted about 2 1/2 more mows before conking out. “Can you check it out?” “No, we’ll check it in. Give it two weeks.” 4 weeks later and a couple of phone calls to chase them up, I finally got it back. “We don’t call before proceeding, job’s done. $95”. I complained tha...
Read moret this was their reconditioned and barely used unit and shouldn’t have had any significant issues, let alone “dull blades, dirty spark and air filter”. “OK we’ll take $3 off.” An insult. Invoice described repair as “cleaned spark plug, starts and runs fine” but charged for a new spark anyway. Complained again and got $7 refunded. They also took it upon themselves to perform an UNNECESSARY service ($38 in parts for air filter and oil, which was described as “still good” - as it should be after hardly being used). Then found upon payment that’s $85 OWING, ON TOP OF THE $30 DEPOSIT, so $115 all up to clean a spark plug - the only essential part of the job. Ultimately I paid another half as much again above the original cost of the so-called reconditioned mower for them to finish a half-completed reconditioning job. (First ever online review - need others to know about these rip-off merchants.)

I called into Brendale mower store, and needed to ask a question about something. And buy the part if they had it.
The man I spoke to at the parts counter, was extremely rude and I felt like he was trying to start a confrontation. I'll never be back there. Disgusting service and will never recommend anyone to your store.

Terrible customer service. I went in to buy a mower and after ten minutes of waiting for help i walked out and went to Bunnings instead. It was 25 minutes before the store closed but they were more concerned about packing up then helping me. I won't be going back .

You can call and ask specific questions like price of parts and the price for their mechanics to fit them on a whippersnipper and all you get is oh I'm not sure bring it in...call a mechanic about a service on your car they can tell you a price why can't they price a mower service...lame

Was quoted approx$300 for new power broom gearbox about 6 months ago. Went in today to purchase gearbox but was told it was now nearly $500 and there was no other options. Went to another dealer and got the gearbox for the $300.
