Called them for weekend emergency problem with drain blockage, they couldnt give me any indication of price. Told me that someone will call me back but dont know when. Missed the call by 1 second and immediately called back, but they refuse to answer the phone. Obviously not interested in the work. They wasted my time and can be sure to never get another call from me. Thanks for nothing!

I contacted the Tap Doctor. Previously had contacted them about 6 times over past 8 years with excellent results. Anyway thinking I would get the same service I called them to fix my solar hot water system which was pouring out water. The fellow came, went on the roof told me just a pipe connection quoted the price and as I had to leave I paid by credit card. Had guy come out wasn't interested in doing job. He was told where pipes were thought he was going to get leak detector out of car but didnt. Just wasted my time.

I couldn’t get a quote over the phone - they had to come around to give one. Started the job without giving me the quote so I asked how much it was going to cost to replace a washer and one other thing on my toilet - 189-00 for a ten minute simple job. Then he wanted to charge an extra 45-00 for a hose and when I asked how much to replace washers on taps - wait for it - 75-00 a pair. Absolutely ridiculous but I was told it’s now a franchise so there we go - greedy owner. He had the nerve to ask if I wanted stickers on my water heater and a fridge magnet too - I guess they would have charged for that as well but I said no thanks. Not happy.

Tried to book a plumber yesterday from Tap Doctor, got it all arranged, yes coming at 2 pm,
he will call if he is going to be earlier....well i wasn't expecting a no show, so i have figured
that if the job is nt worth hundreds of dollars it is not worth bothering with, as it wasn't a big
job, but it needs to be fixed by a PLUMBER.....very disappointed...

My daughter and I were abused by one of their franchisee vehicles in Southern Adelaide while overtaking them on a 2 lane road! If you do 10km/h under the limit then speed up when being overtaken, you have no right to get upset with other drivers. To honk your horn and give abusive hand signals to another car, even without a 9 year old in the car looking on, is disgusting, but to do so when you are in the wrong is even worse!

Equivalent to $495 an hour - I was charged $165 for a 20-minute job - a simple, basic job of removing a tap mixer (3 bolts) and replacing it with the exact same mixer. They were meant to give me quote prior to starting the job, but I assumed it would be minimum charge - I guess DON'T ASSUME ANYTHING. I've used The Tap Doctor many times before, but will NEVER use them again - disgraceful!!!

I was very nervous who to choose among the many plumbers, as I have had a bad experience in the past with one of the well known Perth plumbers who didn't arrive when booked and not answering their phone in spite of their advertising their 24/7 availability. I had a bad leak in the shower and was pleasantly surprised to have excellent fast service from John, my local Tap Doctor plumber and the charges were very reasonable. I will use them again.

They charged 625$ to unblock a kitchen drain! I was told much smaller sum at the beginning, otherwise wouldn't agree to start the work. The guy made a wrong guess about the position of the pipe so he removed 11 bricks (he told me he will remove just couple to check before starting) from the patio, which then placed higher the the rest. Then we dug in the garden to find the main pipe and broke one of the reticulation sprinkles. I wouldn't be that angry if at least he told me what happen (risks of the job - I'll understand). Instead he just bury the sprinkle near the pipe and left.

These guys just know to change everything, they don't know anything about hot water systems, 15 min, and charge me $139, didn't solve the problem.

Organised a service of my hot water system in February. Quoted me on site after seeing system. Then changed 2 valves and charged me $370. have since had other quotes for 2 valves for $250 to $270. After changing valves plumber said couldnt do the rest as didn't have the right tools or type of anodes. I paid and since then have rang them 4 times in 3 months and spoke to atea manager. He said they have the anodes but havent shown up. He also offered me a refund but havent seen that either. Useless is the word i would use to describe their skill and service. They obviously dont care about reputation as they dont have or adhere to a customer service policy.

I had no hot water so I called several plumbers and no one could come out and some never returned my call. My brother suggested Warren from Tap Doctor Joondalup, and he was here on the day we called and did a great job. I would highly recommend Warren to anyone needing a plumber.

Can't fault with job just took longer than it should be but they charge really over so have few quotes before you have them. The plumber quoted me roughly but the actual bill was quite a bit different.
Three stars are for service but 0 for charging system.

My advice is to ask for a few free quotes before using The Tap Doctor. We were quite overcharged for the service and supply of replacing a kitchen mixer, two hot and cold shower taps and a Posh hand held shower head with a hose. We should have bought our own supplies from Reece or Bunnings and just asked The Tap Doctor for the service charge quote as they give a free quote. However, we were so naive/dumb and accepted the quote for a normal mixer at $340, the two shower taps for $240 and the hand held shower head with a hose for $340. After fin...

The Tap Doctor charged $275 for 25 minutes work - this is an hourly rate of $550. When I queried the cost I received a long list of excuses, none of which provided a reasonable explanation for the high cost. My advice would be to check out all of the other terrible reviews on here, and then use any other plumber, not the Tap Doctor

This week I had the Tap Dr from Myaree WA out to my home I was charged $718 to replace one kitchen mixer tap one shower head and 2 shower taps. I priced the items they used on line total cost of the items retail price was $150. The plumber arrived 40 mins late with no call to let me know he was running late he didn't clean off the silcone under the show head or taps as the ones he replaced were larger. I tried for several days to speak to his boss who refused to speak with me unless I rang him very early in the mornings which was not suitable to me or possible for me. I have since spoken with other plumbing services who have stated I should not have paid anymore than $375 for the work.

My callout fee was quoted to be $450 for Sat Dec 23.
Not reasonable in my opinion. I think they were taking advantage of the xmas holidays.
There are others out there that will quote alot less.
The plumber gave me bad attitude so I didn't chose them in the end.
This is my second bad experience with this mob.
I've learnt my lesson now.

Don't use them, absolute cowboys, charged way over the top, never completed the job and won't reply to my emails for a refund.

I had a tap doctor came in today to replace my shower heads and fix linking time. Warren from the tap doctor did an amazing job at a very well priced rate, i had a quote from another plumber before tap doctor and tap doctor quote was much more cheaper.
Warren was very professional, he was at my house on time and clean up the mess afterwards. I will definitely use tap doctor again and recommend their service to friends and family.

no CALL OUT FEE MY a... Pipe under vanity came undone. No bid deal except for escape of water in our rental.
We were interstate when tenants contacted so we were not in a position to do anything ourselves. Thought I would give them ago. They insisted on putting individual mini taps on both hot and cold whether we wanted it or not. Pretty useless really unless u wanted to do the whole house. Charged a fortune for a minor job so you would be better to get someone charge a call out fee. 15 min it took and he wouldn't do it until paid in advance so we had to do bank transfer and send bank receipt. Would never use them again.

Needed an upright cooker connected and a dishwasher fitted. The cooker was just a pipe through the wall. That's all it needed. Quote was almost $1200. Just to connect an upright cooker to a fitting already there was $700. I said no. Bloke couldn't care less and left. Clearly just didn't want the job and overquoted to make me say no. Wasted my time. Will never use or recommend tap doctor.

Not a pleasant experience with them. We used the Myaree branch. The best analogy for what they did is going to a doctor with a foot ache and the doctor amputating the foot as a cure. They did not provide me with the appropriate service for my plumbing issue, which will now continue in the future. Also, they were not upfront with the cost, which was significant for what the issue was. When I called to express my disappointment with what they did, my concern was not listened to by the area manager, who was more interested in supporting his plumber. Terrible customer service all around is an understatement. For future customers, find another plumber who will actually give you the appropriate fix that you need for your plumbing issue.

We've used the Tap Doctor in Adelaide probably 5 times over 8 years and the booking service is fantastic. The plumbers are always on time, quick, do a great job and are very reasonably priced. They installed our water-saving toilet, moved a garden tap and repaired hot water service several times. Simply, don't know what more we could ask from a plumber.
