Have an intermittent door unlock alarm and light, have isolated the 5 door locks one at a time and fault still there. Seems to be no pattern to when the slarm comes on, can be sitting still in driveway and is not affected by rough off road driving ( not loose wire) Any ideas?

The glove box handle pulls the latches into both sides of the glove box door/cover . These sometimes jam in because of dust or debris, and have to be coaxed out, but gently. A little lubrication helps them work better. It is not advisable to try to crack open the door as they are stuck together very well.

Check every 5000km and change ever 10k. Note that it’s critical to do as some air box lids can warp and allow dust in. The unifilter panels are the best to avoid the issue. If using a factory filter, add some grease around the edges to allow for a better seal.

I have a 2022 GXL. Yesterday I was driving home and when I was turning corners I was getting a beeping alarm going off whilst turning but stopped when I straightened the wheels? I drove this morning and nothing has happened. No alerts came up?

Did you have the handbrake completly off?
Its your Stability control. Check tyre pressures as one is likely low. If it was wet you may have been having a slight loss of traction too

When I start the vehicle, the display says "system loading please wait". After it finishes loading, it goes off. The radio wont go on and also the navigation system is off but the vehicle works properly. It's a land cruiser 200 series twin turbo with D4-D Diesel engine. Any help?

Behind the plug, a little lower. Its fed from the front via the loom on some VERY small wiring. its 120w only and suited to charging phones or maybe a laptop. Its not designed to run a fridge and only operates when the car is running.

I have land cruiser 2008 (LC 200)
In morning it starts perfect .. and wen i turn off the car it starts perfect if i restart wid in two hours . But if i restart after 3 or 4 or 5 hours . It takes long long sulf to start ... but after over night park it will b perfect again ...
any idea ?

Hi I have just purchased a 2008 sahara diesel V8 with a factory sub tank and I would appricate some help.
I filled both tanks with diesel and used the cruiser untill the low fuel light just came on about 630 ks
Not knowing wether the fuel in the sub tank would be usable. i decided to refuel the main tank as i had a couple of hundred ks to travel. It took 77 liters of fuel.Sub tank is still full.
1. I am wondering how the sub tank system actually works?. (I am told there is a tranisition pump).
2. Is it an auto switch cut in fo the transition pump.?
3 If it is how low does the main tank have to be before the transition pump cuts in?

Early Sahara's came with a single 93L tank not the 93+45L the GXL and VX has. This was to keep the weight down. Even with the 2 tanks they behave as 1 tank, fuel is used from both at the same time, there is no switch or pump. Its completely seemless.
To double check, remove your spare wheel and check to see if there is a tank above it. Its rare to have a early sahara with one fitted but many salemen do not know the cars well and assume all have 138L. Join the 200 series Landcruisers Owners page on FB with 40000 other members for more assistance

The fuel filler has two seprate throats
On fill up the one leading to the rear took 52 odd liters and the one leading foward took 77 liters. when the low level light came on. is it possible that its a non factory tank? Yep the sales team had no idea and now i am really confused.

The factory tank only has a single filler, not 2 throats regardless of if it came as a 93L or the 138L. Depending where you are i know ppl that can have a quick look at it for you. Join 200 series landcruiser owners on face book and ill see if i can help.

Hi All,
I have just purchased a 2012 GXL 200 Series, which has a split at the top of the steering wheel and needs to be replaced.
The existing wheel has LHS Audio controls, but lacks the RHS BT Phone controls.
I am considering getting a Sahara replacement wheel, but am not sure if the wiring is present in the column to take advantage of the extra controls.
Does anyone have experience with this or know if it can be connected to use the additional controls?
