Got the happy man feeling
I have had 9 new vehicles and 3 near new vehicles over the past 28 years plus many others.
The first two new ones were hiluxes 1991 and 1997 never had a spanner on them, never had a problem and i serviced them myself. All the others Holden Ford Mitsubishi etc we have need to go into the sickbay a bit to much.
So when needing a new family car last year we got a Rav4 after looking at them for a couple of years. We are all tall people but we fit into the midsize easily.
In summary its a very nice vehicle,

2018 Rav4 2.5 AWD GX
Bought a brand new 2018 Rav4 2.5 auto AWD GX and i am not happy. These new Rav4s have gutless noisey motors and have excessive road noise emitting throughout the cabin area. The ride quality of this car is hard and bumpy. The headlights for nightime driving in dark country areas are very poor on low and high beams. The inside bottom of all four doors collect large amounts of wet and dry debri and are potential rusting areas. I would not recommend this vehicle to anyone.

Good car
I am happy and feel quiet when I am driving RAV4. Handling is very good and smooth. Inside the car, I like simple interior and easy to use every functional button. Specially I recommend RAV4 because of comfortable seat. I tried many SUV before but I couldn't find this comfortable.

Great vehicle.
This vehicle is amazing, I had a 2012 RAV4 AWD Cruiser which has given wonderful reliable service. Decided to update to a late 2017 model with AWD, I had to get the GX model with "full size spare" and Tech pack. None of the other model RAV4's come with full size spare and only a few GX models have full size spare. This car is full of the most amazing features, radar cruise control, numerous sensors, satellite navigation etc. For the base model it certainly has wonderful accessories, some because of the inexpensive Tech Pack
Purchased in January 2021.

So far so good
With a plethora of different suv cars to choose from I chose a Rav 4. I decided on a near new used model basically so I could afford the AWD version. Just incase my hubby and I decided to go off road ( and diff lock for soft road) on our weekend outings and the AWD seemed a safer option too. I also preferred the slightly larger motor. They are great to travel long distance in, roomy and comfortable, relatively fuel efficient, it also has a great pick up that comes in handy around town and on the country roads. It is also easy to park. I love...Read more
my RAV 4 I have owned two camrys before this and was happy with them, I guess there were other SUVs in this class with more bling but I decided that I would feel more safer in a toyota. It suits us to transport grandparents teenagers and greyhounds. Very roomy inside. So far I am really happy with my RAV 4.1 comment

Very High Fuel Consumption. Terrible Customer Service
Be aware of the suspicious reviews that look like an advertisement and give this car a high rating. It is a terrible car.
I bought a 2014 RAV4 from the Toyota dealership in Hobart - Toyota Co-op - I found that its fuel consumption is excessively high, way too high than the advertised rate, it is doing 7.3 Km/litre, while the advertised rate is 11.8 km/litre, (that is a full tank until the fuel light goes on will make around 300 to 315 Kms). I had a Nissan Altima same engine capacity (2.5 Ltr) which used to do more than double this number of Kms...Read more
