"Fantastico Service"
Bought a Yaris in November, 2015 from Phil Gilbert @ Lidcombe. Since then Cliffton has given "fantastico" service.
The 30K service was just done, and cost $168.55 (Including Full-Synthetic Oil) No Problems, unlike my previous
one which caused me "INCREDIBLE GRIEF" since Day One
The only thing I haven't learnt to do is the "Toyota Jump:.

Happy
I’ve been driving my new Toyota Yaris Hatch for over 2 months now and am happy with it. I traded it for my 20+ year old Toyota Seca which had never given me any trouble, but it was time to renew. I had slight trouble to get the head rest thingy right with the Yaris so it wasn’t pushing my head forward, and managed to get it comfortable. There are a couple of features that I liked better with my Seca, one being that although the Yaris headlights have an automatic setting, I chose the manual option as I drive during the day with parkers or hea...Read more
dlights on if it’s raining and dull as the car is a dark grey and harder to see; if I got out of the car and left the lights on I used to get a beep to warn me with the Seca, not so with the Yaris, pity, cos I forget sometimes. Then there’s the clock, if it’s a couple of minutes fast, what a rigmarole to set it back, ok forward but have to go the whole cycle to set the minutes back (unless I’m doing it wrong) will have to read the manual. Not much else to gripe about at the moment though, I’m enjoying driving it.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

OK until you need to change a gear
The positive: well equipped, drives happily at 100km/h, comfortable.
The negative: it's manual transmission ruins the drive the second you need to use it. The accelerator has no resistance, you are either idling or doing 3000rpm when trying to move off from stationary. The gear lever has no feel and is quite an effort to push over into the 1-2 plane (third feels like first when you are stationary). The worst though is the hideous clutch which has little feel or resistance and engages only at the end of the clutch travel. It also seems to e...Read more

2015 Yaris
I am very happy with the new design of the 2015 model. I wanted to have a safe car and set my eyes on Toyota because of its safety design and reliability. Having been driving this for 4 months, this car is just easy to park with the reverse camera.

5 Door Yaris
Fantastic, reliable, fuel efficient car. Highly recommend this car which is great value. Cheap to service, cruises beautifully at 100 kph. They are better than expected. Grow on you very quickly the more you use it. No dislikes so far and keep posted as I will keep updating its progress from new.
Product review update. Booked in for the 10,000km service tomorrow. The only concern is I can smell fuel outside the car after I fill it up. So when I get home, I can smell it in the garage.
Dislikes of the car. Wish I had parking sensors. Steering ...Read more
