it sounds like the pressure on the rollers is not tight enough and/or the wire roll is binding

Check - Wire diameter matches grooves on Drive Rollers and no grease/oil on roller surfaces - Bearings in Feed Rollers are not worn out - Kink in Wire feed guide from welder to weld tip - Adjust roller pressure (mine has a knob to wind down to increase roller pressure) - Weld spatter on or inside output weld tip and matching diameter of tip for wire - Any loose/frayed wiring connection in weld gun handle or at connection to welder - check wire off roll has not spooled out behind and rubbing on inside housing. Other than that your drive/control card might be caput.

Hi there!
Can you tell me the difference between the 175 amp mig/mma kumjrrw175

The 205 is a mig/tig/stick welder with a digital display - I tnink it's only supplied with Mig torch and related items - has a gear driven wire feeder - a higher duty cycle and slightly higher amp output. The 175 is a mig/stick only welder - does not have a gear driven wire feeder - a lower duty cycle and lower amp output - supplied with mig and stick holders.
I think the mig torches are slightly different. The 205 has tig, so would be more versatile - ie. welding thin walled stainless steel but with all models you need to buy the tig gun seperately.

Like RickO has previously said and as far as I know the 205 has a smart set feature which according to unimig is a “ Synergic feature that allows you to select the wire size and gas mixture you are using and the machine will optimise the parameters for your job. Once welding you can still make adjustments to the Voltage control for fine tuned results.”
