Great customer service, replied to email enquirers quickly and efficiently
My blinds were installed over 4 years ago and still in great condition. I had two cracked clips that were broken as window was open open during strong winds.

Don't hold your breath
If you don't mind waiting two/three months I ordered one block out curtain,and that was how long it was going to take apparently the order is made over seas and shipped back would've preferred to source local Company where the Work stays in Australia and turn around time quicker.

Delays, poor follow up, significant disappointment in this company
I ordered blinds for my new house in November 2017. When they hadn't arrived at my home in January after full payment was given I rang the company. The blinds were finally installed in February. On installation three of the blinds were dirty or didn't fit and had to be replaced. I waited and waited for the replacements. When I rang to find out what had happened the replacement blinds hadn't even been started. More waiting. I still have my damaged window sill and will never use this company again. Adelaide Store Always good
This is the second time I've bought window coverings from Vista. The first time I bought vertical blinds for a a 2 bedroom unit throughout, they were good from selecting material to installation. That was 7.5yrs ago
This time I bought blackout curtains & am happy with them too, they are good quality & look good installed

Fantastic
I had an unusual window that many blinds companies came out and said it could not be done. Vista rep spoke to factory and said they can do it. The curtain is installed and is exactly what I wanted. Thank you Vista

Still waiting for out repaired curtain
[name removed] from vista who quoted our curtains was amazing unfortunately one curtain needed to be adjusted as it was MADE incorrectly.
It’s been 9 weeks and we are still awaiting for out curtain to be returned.
Seriously not acceptable ... where is their customer service and customer integrity?
Just want our curtain back.

Lucky never even got a quote
Luckily for me their customer service is that poor I never even got an appointment. Waited one week for consultation then cancelled and could not even book same time a week later. Pathetic at best

Not at all happy. Never again will I deal with Vista.
Our blinds were installed on 19 Jan. They were all too long, hold down brackets wrong and a part missing which took 2 months to supply. Despite photos being taken on the day and a visit from staff the problem is still not sorted out. Numerous appointments have been postponed due to illness. Absolutely no joy from Head Office in Western Australia. Still waiting for a call from Retail Manager in QLD. Time to get ACCC involved. All over a refund of about $950. I have also lost wages due to having to take time off work for a meeting which then got cancelled.

Bad experience
I have ordered blinds, now it's over 5 weeks that we wait I can't get in touch with anyone in this company. Maybe they already closed down because of all the deshonest claim.
It all started when the Australian company was purchased by Chinese owners. Now all the jobs done in China however the company claim locally manufacturer in WA. This is wrong and misleading

Unsatisfactory venetian blinds
My Vista venetians were installed on 19 January 2018. However the venetian blinds (four) are all too long. The local staff came to investigate approximately 2 weeks after the install and find a solution but they can only be rectified if they are taken away, which isn't satisfactory to me. Hold down clips, where fitted, hold blinds too high off the sills and are unsightly. Other manufacturer's blinds have a different base plate and can therefore be fastened down lower. wn. It finally got replaced on 9 March 2018 approx 7 weeks later. The vertical blinds, apart from a bottom chain being too short and the replacement chain taking about ten days to be replaced, were satisfactory. They are all also made overseas and if I had known that, I would not have purchased them from Vista. If it was possible I would ask for a refund and get them made locally but I would have no blinds in the meantime. I would most definitely not recommend Vista venetian blinds.2 comments

Don't use if you even think you have asbestos
when we ordered our blinds we told them that we may have asbestos and it was written on the order form. They made the blinds then informed us that if there was asbestos they would not fit them. They sent someone out to check and fit if possible. The guy was an hour late wasn't sure if it was asbestos and wouldn't risk it. We later found out there was no asbestos. We've used Vista (Granville) twice for plantation shutters
We used Vista (Granville) for shutters and a roller blind downstairs in 2013 then again when we built a second story on our house in 2015. For me the test of a good company is if you would give them repeat business and if you would recommend them? For us the answer is yes to both.
Only one criticism - is that the job was paid in full prior to completion and the only reason that this was acceptable was that we had used them before. I have no problem with paying deposit, then a subsequent and final on completion. But that is the way they do business so you can take it or leave it.

Don't fall for their Advertising Gimmick of 25 year warranty.
Bought six blinds some 8-9 years ago. Now two of the blinds, the strings which controls the open/close shutters may have jumped off the roller pulley which only needs minor attendance. But when I emailed Vista, they responded with a one liner.....It's now over 8 years, we don't carry the parts anymore, contact: All Cleans Blinds. re is your so called customer care when you needed my business with that all fancy ad hocs as being the longest in business with best quality products, but when you took my money, you now don't want to know me anymore. I would seriously recommend everyone who were ripped off by Vista to vote with their feet and shop elsewhere. There are so many new products on the markets to choose from a variety of new players in the field who would go out of their way to give you a personalised customer service with written warrantee or if lucky even written guarantee on conditions, but please don't ever go to Vista again, instead give them a BOOT4 comments

Vista is the worst company to deal with. They are quick to book you in for a measure and quote, and once you pay for everything, you wont hear from them. I booked with them 2 months before Christmas and they assured me it will be installed before Christmas. I paid for everything and never heard back from them. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I got 7 vertical blinds installed. 2 tracks were cut short, 1 had a wond 1 had a chain to open them when they both should of been chains and 1 had the wond on the wrong side. I contacted the area manager to voice my disappointment and wasn't happy with her attitude. All she could say was we are all human and make mistakes. I'm sorry but not 5 mistakes. Customer Service = 0% / Quality of Curtains = 0% / Brains = 0%
After initially thinking that Vista were the best, my thoughts have dramatically changed.
Our loop holed curtains fell apart after the 1st 2 weeks.
We complained about the quality. 4 weeks later they came & picked up the curtains to hopefully resolve the issue.
We have now been without curtains for a further 6 weeks & we are now assuming that they cannot be repaired, due to being lost.

We have cellular blinds fitted inside a window recess and attached to the top of the cavity. We are painting now but can't see how to remove the blinds. The attachments are up and behind but there is no obvious release mechanism.

Hello Debbie, Please email [email protected] asking that we email you the instructions for the installation and removal of cellular blinds. Do try the following steps. Raise the blind to the up position. You would be able to determine the position of the brackets by either running your hand along the back of the head box. Having found the position of the brackets, using your thumb on the front of the head box push in and with your other free hand, tilt the back down and out. This will push the head back past the two hooks on the rear and allow you to remove it quite easily. Do email us if you are not able to do so. Kind regards, Vista

We are in SA, so don't know how Perth fares. Our sons problem was long wait for blinds and our problem was rude and inefficient staff on the fitting day.

Consumers today, can make a complaint from wherever there is network coverage and Vista's Customer Care will respond and attempt to resolve. Our manufacturing is done here in WA, QLD and overseas and as such, lead times can vary for the different type of products that we offer. It seems to be WA,i had vista do some blinds in 2005 and some in 2006 although that was a while ago i had no probs and was happy with them.
