STILL WAITING!!!!
We placed a deposit on the 17th Feb and have not heard back at all.
We understand the current climate, however, to receive zero communication or update is unacceptable. I have tried to call / email the store and reach out to the Vista Consultant without any success. We are now wanting a complete refund now but NO ONE will respond to us!!
This level of service is unprofessional, negligent and extremely poor.

One star too many...
Where do I start - not sure there is any point posting this as Vista don't seem to be new to or care about negative feedback. After 4 weeks back and forth with customer support waiting to order the awning online because their website wasn't configured to deal with online ordering I was finally able to put the order through in Oct (this should've been enough of a red flag to know the journey wasn't going to be a smooth one...). pecific in what we wanted... The website mentioned there would be a 4 week delay on installation which I was ok with. A few weeks later, the installer came out to measure the installation site. He then informed me that I would need to add a $550 steel beam (which was never mentioned at point of sale). After being told this is standard practice and should have been included in the initial cost, I was left with little choice but to incur the additional cost. I was not shown a sample of the Botella fabric and assumed as I had verbally confirmed with the sales people and the colour swatch on the website (attached) was black. After two weeks more of waiting on an installation date (four weeks after initially ordering) I was told my blind was still on order fro China and unlikely to be in before Xmas. As the Xmas timeframe was something I had also verbalised with the sales and support staff, again I was let down. I was told I would be updated with a time frame. Mid-December I was told the awning wouldn't be in Australia until the end of January and then may be able to figure out an installation date. The lady who I was speaking to regarding installation dates (lovely lady), had no authority and had to run everything passed management. There was mention of compensation for the ridiculously long wait, but am yet to hear anything regarding this... I was then surprised with a phone call mid-jan that my awning will be installed on the 30th January (3 months after the order and 4 months after first trying to order). The awning was installed and the fabric is green (grass green). The installer took note of my digression and said he would have someone call me. No one called. I have since called about 10 times, it was either a no answer, voicemail or support staff on the east coast who said they would get the correct management to contact me "ASAP". No call back... The awning has also been installed on an angle (which is one thing I wanted to speak to someone about, but no one wants to call me back)...5 comments

Awful! They mis-measured twice, fitter couldn’t fit what was advised. Another fitter measured again and sent off for more blinds. 6 months later a refund suddenly appeared without any discussion.

Absolutely poor customer service!
We had our blinds installed 13 months ago and there was a few mistakes with 2 cords - one cord had a wrong length and and second was broken. After millions of lies from Penrith stduring 13 months, I am still waiting for the problem to be fixed!! Carol, Penrith store manager, stopped answer on my phone calls and I was ignored via emails also. I afraid even to think how this company is dealing with big issues that supposedly covered by Warranty. I would not recommend to have any business with this company to anyone.

Worst service ever!
My blinds were taken down on Nov 19, 2022 by the installer because it requires repair, mind you it is less than six months old. And after numerous calls, I have yet to have my blinds back and this is 11 Feb 2020. Nobody seems to know where the blinds is! Extremely frustrating!

Poor service, a joke !
Had measure in October, they promised delivery and installation mid November. It is now end of Feb, no sight if curtains. Tried to call numerous times, very difficult to get hold of the office girl. They finally responded blaming the installers and requested the balance payment before installing ... installation due in 2 days, payment done... they have again disappeared and no confirmation of installation though we emailed, tried to call. Worst company ever! Still waiting and not sure what to do next.

Incompetent and rude
We originally ordered Cafe Blinds on the 12th of August with the promise of November install.
November became December, only after we rang to ask when to expect installation.
December install became January.
Install scheduled for 17th January, I take a day off work and the installers arrived as planned.
Unfortunately the blinds are incorrect, three separate issues that cause them not to be able to be installed.
The installers were as helpful as they could be under the circumstances and apologetic.

Disappointed by Poor Customer Service
I had two double roller blinds installed, and found the customer service throughout the process was poor.
I had to follow up with Vista at all steps through the process.
Colours for the blinds are only available to view in a rushed initial consultation and cannot be provided by email.
After paying the deposit, I needed to be home within a 4 hr window for a re-measure as Vista lost the details of the initial measure.
The blinds were then installed three weeks late, as they got lost on their way from China.

Poorly installed shutters on 3 sliding doors by Frank. Damage to one wall and no ends on the fascias and no more gaps wiped all over the end panels. Drilled holes in my laminate flooring then realised he had measured wrong. All Shutters had tape marks on fixed panels so had to be replaced. Frankie and Lloyd were a pleasure to deal with for replacing the shutters but can't say the same for Kym in the office. Poor quality blinds
Got Vista blinds to fit out 12 windows with venetian blinds. Within a couple of year most of the tilt mechanism had gone so we needed to replace them at our cost. 4 years down the track all the blinds throughout the house now need to be replaced. What a waste of money. Just awful quality.

Never showed up
Booked in a week prior for [name removed] to come to my house at 9am for a measure and quote. Never showed up! I texted no response then called no response. 2 hours later he answered because i used another phone. He said oh yeah sorry he forget.. so glad i never used them imagine what would have happened if i did!!

Should have paid to have all my blinds repaired and washed,
This is the first company I have ever had to fully pay for poor work if I had seen reviews I would have gone elsewhere.Panels in lounge too long then since beginning of September still waiting.Time for fitting poor appointment time, excuses always due to shortage of staff.Kitchen needed to be remeasured,need I say more .Very poor service after excellent initial visit.

Ordered blinds and shutters and curtains in March, moved in to new house in May the blinds were installed 3weeks late. Missing 1 blind mixed cords some white some silver. 3 weeks after that the shutters arrived no problem just late then the curtains arrived, all the pelmets were wrong all the curtains were to long .it is now October I have them installed all except 1 curtain they cant find it ! So I havent been offered any apologies, or compensation and still I dont know when I will get the last curtain. I would never recommend this company .

Box blinds from china with no spare parts available
A few years ago we invested in Vista Slimline Venetian blinds throughout our whole home (4 x 2) with numerous windows, some rooms with 4 blinds.
Called in today to buy a tilt mechanism for 1 of the blinds that wont open/close.
Sorry we dont carry spare parts, all our blinds are now imported from China.
That is a disgrace! I am expected to replace 4 large blinds because of a $10.00 part.
I managed to get hold of the 1 only tilt mechanism they had left over in stock which doesn't fit and was told "If it doesn't fit there is no refund".

Had Kerri Peck from Vista give us a quote on plantation shutters. She was very professional and informative and made the whole experience enjoyable. She told us 10-12 weeks as they are custom made, so hope they keep their promise.

Hello Debbie, Please email [email protected] asking that we email you the instructions for the installation and removal of cellular blinds. Do try the following steps. Raise the blind to the up position. You would be able to determine the position of the brackets by either running your hand along the back of the head box. Having found the position of the brackets, using your thumb on the front of the head box push in and with your other free hand, tilt the back down and out. This will push the head back past the two hooks on the rear and allow you to remove it quite easily. Do email us if you are not able to do so. Kind regards, Vista

We are in SA, so don't know how Perth fares. Our sons problem was long wait for blinds and our problem was rude and inefficient staff on the fitting day.
