Plastic has cracked in a number of areas
Plastic has cracked in a number of areas due to force/pressure that i applied during extraction or while cleaning, those areas need reinforcing. That said it does work but you have to mess around a bit warming parts, and then only gives a small cup of coffee because there is not enough water in the tank.

Dangerous
I didn't screw the hot water coupling on tight enough and when I pumped it, a small amount scalding hot water squirted out from the thread onto my wrists. I tried to use it again the next day and this time tried to screw the hot water part on tighter and the thread overscrewed and went loose again causing all the boiling water to spill over my wrists and hands. Despite running my hands under cold water for 15min I had bright red burns and was in a fair level of discomfort for 2 days. Hopefully I can return it for a full refund. I don't want a replacement as I believe this is a faulty and dangerous product.

I'd give it 6 stars if I could!
I've purchased this machine from ALDI. It is Espressi/Cafitalia/K-fee compatible. Love it from the first cup! With Espressi pods Level 12+ it makes PERFECT espresso. It is creamy, thick, strong and aroma starts to fill up my kitchen as soon as the first drops fell into my cup. I'm going to take it on holidays with me, in case the hotel where I'm going to stay has not so good kitchen facilities. It's light, portable, easy to use and very easy to clean. A PERFECT portable coffee machine.

Bought for Cape York 4wding
Being espresso addicts it was stomach churning going back to instant so we bought a Minipresso August 2017 in preparation for 4wding & camping across Cape York. Whilst we are ex pro baristas & have a boiler style espresso machine at home we carefully read all instructions & thoroughly tested before heading north off the bitumen. Unfortunately the Minipresso didn't live up to the marketing hype - despite enthusiastic caffeine craving hand pumping the device doesn't build sufficient pressure to make a crema rich shot though in fairness this may b...Read more
e due to using puny pods instead of filling a conventional group basket with calibrated fresh grind. Weak shots aside the internal parts separated requiring constant reassembly before use and now the Minipresso just leaks coffee grounds & dirty looking hot water instead of caffeine heaven in a cup. Did contemplate flogging this off on eBay or Gumtree but just sits in bottom of junk drawer cos couldn't quite bring ourselves to foist this on some other poor unsuspecting coffee lover. At least it looks kinda neat & was initially bit of a gadget talking point but pretty much useless for the intended function.Purchased in August 2021 at eBay for $78.00.

Love it, when it works
I bought the minipresso during a round Oz trip in 2017 after a demo of how I could use my Nespresso pods. I've used it for several weeks during the trip and a few times a year when travelling since.
When I could get the water tank to seal it worked well. I got good crema and using 2 pods and a little extra water in a mug, its a pretty good long black.
It takes a fair squeeze to get the pressure and unless you've got huge strong hands, it a 2 handed job and I reckon anyone with arthritis or lacking power would have difficulty.
I often had pro...Read more

Good idea not realised
Well made and reasonably small, but not a great coffee machine. Basically the great thing about expresso machines is the crema, and this machine does not make good crema. I would say about half the amount of crema. Also it only produces a small amount of coffee. So alright if you are making a traditional small expresso but not a flat white. A little dear for what it is too.

Expensive waste of money
I travel a bit for work, so it seemed like a good idea to buy one. MASSIVE mistake. I average one cup of coffee for every 5 pods used. The rest of the time all I get is a slightly brown-tinged cup of warm water. The bottom of the pod is punctured but the top of the pod is intact. The unit has NEVER worked properly since I first bought it over 18 months ago. Tonight I finally gave up after again having to throw away three coffee pods. Considering the cost of buying the unit and the significant number of coffee pods that I have to throw away each time I attempt to make a cup of coffee, I would say don't waste your money on what has been a huge disappointment to me.

Brilliant Product!!
So at my work we are not allowed a nespresso style coffee maker, so i thought how do i save $4 per coffee (3 times a day) and still get to have a nespresso style coffee pod. So i searched online and found heaps of handheld devices. I read reviews, and came across the Wacaco brand, which is popular for hikers and outdoor activities.
So i jumped onto Pod & Parcel (https://www.podandparcel.com.au), and ordered this product. I have had this product for 3 weeks now, and it has been fantastic product to use. So simple and quick to use. Barely any...Read more

And after a week and a half it paid its self off as i no longer need to buy coffees from shop and i will never do instant coffee at work. Highly recommend.Similar opinion?
